The storm had gotten stronger, and by this point, he had realized that the ship was being beaten to shards. It didn't take much for him to realize that it would more than likely not make it, there was far too much damage to be repaired easily. He cursed before responding to Avelop. "I DON'T THINK SO," Marius yelled back. "BUT WE HAVE A BIGGER PROBLEM TO WORRY ABOUT. I DON'T THINK THE SHIP IS GOING TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS STORM."

(Yeah, just roleplay waking up in the middle of the storm)
Avelop yelled back to Marius "So your happy for them to just drown?", he ran to the door to the sleeping quarters and threw the door open "WAKE UP, WE ARE ABOUT TO GO DOWN!"
He then collected his personal belongings and tied them up in his sash, charging back to the deck he resisted the urge to just dive overboard and surveyed the situation.
'I reckon we have somewhere between five to ten minutes left, the ships gone, the only question is how long...'

"Of course not," Marius responded. He realized that he might not have said that as well as he could of, but before he could say more, the other male had already dashed off. He supposed that he had gone to warn the rest of the crew, although Marius did wonder how they could possible have missed what was going on.
Once Avelop had come back up, Marius heard his musings. "How far has the water come up below?" he asked.

Avelop responded "Enough, we've got little time left, prepare to dive."
He had two choices, his first was just to dive, the simplest, but that would be awfully cold and people could die from hypothermia. No he'd have to be clever, he took some of the spare sails and ran to the barrels, he arranged the barrels into a raft formation and tied them together, he then threw the spare sail around it and tied that in place to, he then pushed it to the side of the ship and went to lower it over the edge.

Marius moved over to help him lower the makeshift raft down. It wasn't a bad idea, if nothing else they would have something to hold onto while they waited for the storm to die down. He prayed that they would manage to get through it unscathed, or at least mostly unscathed, and that it wouldn't last that long, although, with how it had been created, he wasn't sure that praying would help any.
"Anything else you think we should grab before we dive?" he asked, wanting to see if the other male had thought of anything. He had grabbed a length of rope himself, slinging it over his shoulder and tying it like a belt.

 The ship has broken up beyond recognition! Shards of planks, large and small litter the ocean's surface! Anyone who is still alive, and wishes to stay that way, should grab onto whatever debris they can, as the wind seems to be pulling the wreckage towards a barren island that is not too far off!
