Phobius wordlessly nodded, leading the others toward the ice cream shop and away from a pouting Mitis. Harry brightened slightly when he saw Katherine, waving to her with a smile to get her attention so they could make the switch.

Katherine happily walked over to Harry, giving him a kiss on the cheek as her brothers gagged. Quickly the three whined to her to get them ice cream. The older sister rolled her eyes looking at Hermione, "Did you find what your need?" She asked the other witch. "Yeah and now I just need to get something for Harry." Hermione said as she walked over to Phobius. She kissed his cheek. "So want some ice cream?" She asked her boyfriend. Katherine asked the same to Harry.

Phobius and Harry both kissed their respective girlfriend on the cheek right back and agreed that ice cream was a good idea, their stomachs rumbling slightly... well, "slightly" in Phobius's case, "loudly" in Harry's case.

Katherine and Hermione giggled at the two rumbles before walking in. Katherine had her brothers claim a booth for the group. Demetri, Jasper and Mathew asked Katherine for their favorites. Katherine rolled her eyes before nodding, "Harry, can you watch my brothers? I'll go order the ice creams, what do you guys want?" She asked the group. Hermione put down her bags and said, "I'll help you carry them." She said.

"I believe they have dark chocolate flavor - I'll take that, since that's the only kind of chocolate that doesn't send me on a chocolate rush, and frankly I'd rather not go into a chocolate rush in public," Phobius decided. "Er... I've never really had ice cream before," Harry admitted hesitantly even as he began focusing on watching Katherine's brothers. "He likes treacle tart - I'd suggest getting him treacle ice cream," Phobius chose for the poor, unenlightened boy. "Barring that, vanilla is always a good option."

"Or you can share with me and have cookies N' cream." Katherine said smirking at Harry before walking with Hermione and placed the orders. They came back with the orders. Her brothers cheered before eating their sundaes. Katherine sat down next to Harry giving him a spoon. Hermione gave over Phobius's sundae as she sat down.

Harry complied, taking a bite out of the ice cream. From the look on his face, he rather liked it, because he quickly took another bite... and then promptly winced as he got brain freeze. Phobius similarly began eating his own ice cream, toeing the fine line of eating it as fast as he could without seeming overly eager.

Katherine smiled at Harry, "Lick the top of your mouth, I hear it gets rid of brain freezes." She said as she licked her spoon clean of ice cream. Demetri was eating his strawberry one as his two brothers, Jasper and Mathew, respectively ate vanilla and chocolate. Hermione giggled at Phobius, "Try not to get a brain freeze too ok, Phobius?"Meanwhile with the parents.... The Grangers and Evergoods were with Eris. "Maybe Hermione would like a library trunk?" Jean said to Dan. Dan nodded trying to think of anything else. Trevor and David were just holding hands as they looked at everything.

Harry did as he was told, relaxing as that worked before starting to eat once more, slower this time. "I don't get brain freeze - I have a lower than normal internal body temperature," was Phobius's bland reply as he continued eating. "Probably a good idea. And if I may be so bold as to make a suggestion, there's a little something called an 'Anybook' - it's a plain gray book with blank pages to start out with, but link it into a trunk full of books, a bookshelf, or even a whole library, and its pages can change into that of any book available from said trunk/bookshelf/library/whatever on command - saves you the trouble of rifling around for who-knows-how-long looking for the book you want. They're a little expensive, but I can help cover the cost, and I can help link it into whatever your daughter wants to link it to," Eris interjected into the Grangers' conversation helpfully.

Katherine smiled at her boyfriend before snuggling close to him as she ate some more of the sundae. Hermione rolled her eyes before taking some of his ice cream to try it. "That's a good idea, thanks." Jean said gratefully to the other mother. "Think you can help us with Katherine? We think she would like some potion things and many what were they? Something called Rune stones? We did say she likes doing rituals." David said shrugging with a smile.

Harry smiled as he enjoyed the ice cream with his girlfriend. Phobius immediately pulled his ice cream bowl a little closer - all the easier to guard it from curious girlfriends. "Well, for the rune stones, I have good news and bad news. Bad news: people capable of making runestones are both hard to find and generally snatched up as soon as possible. Good news: you happen to be talking to a woman who just so happens to have a Mastery in Runes, which is basically the Wizarding equivalent of a degree in the subject - the whole study of magic itself' thing is more of a hobby. I'll even give you a discount, since you're friends of the family," Eris answered cheerfully. "As for the potions ingredients, I know the perfect apothecary, provided you 1: don't get overly creeped out by the atmosphere of the place, 2: don't underestimate the owner because of his age, and 3: don't mind spiders too much. They even have Acromantula venom pretty cheap - well, cheap for Acromantula venom, anyway, since that stuff's pretty rare most of the time. The place is called Spider's Parlor Apothecary, come on, I'll show you!" With that, she began literally dragging Katherine's dads to the apothecary in question, the two men caught up in the force of chaos that was an enthusiastic Virgo Eris Black.

Katherine giggled at Hermione as she pouted at Phobius, "Phobius!" Hermione whined. She actually liked how his tasted. Hermione leaned her head on his arm looking at him for some more. Katherine shuck her head at the two before looking at her brothers. The big sister sighed seeing dirty faces. She got up and got napkins. Katherine smiled as she cleaned each face off. "Thank you, Katherine." Her brothers said together. The dads were just like their daughter in her excitement of magic or anything new. "Lead the way, Eris." Trevor said excited. The Grangers laughed at the child-like way the others acted before going to get Hermione the library trunk and the Anybook.

Phobius took one look at Hermione's pouting expression and sighed softly. "Fine... but in the future, please ask before starting to eat my ice cream," he told her, reluctantly loosening his hold on his sundae so Hermione could have some. Harry couldn't help but smile faintly as he watched Katherine interact with her brothers, once again squashing jealousy. They soon reached a rather impressive-looking shop: "The Spider's Parlor - Apothecary and Clothes Shop". Eris dragged the two men inside, and sure enough, the shop was split into three sections, each through a different door - one marked "Clothing", another marked "Potions", and the last, a heavily locked and reinforced door, marked "Restricted". In the entry room that they stepped into, the only visible features were a counter, and behind that, a rather large number of jars with spiders of all sorts in them (and air holes, of course). "Welcome to my parlor," a young voice greeted from behind them, his voice quiet, soft, and silky. They turned around to see a boy who for some reason brought the word "spider" to mind... or maybe that was just the spiders behind the counter and the strangely high number of cobwebs about the place. "I am Araneolus, or Aran for short. Is there anything I can help you with?" the boy - Aran - asked politely. "These two fellows here," Eris waved a hand at the two men, "are looking for a christmas present for their daughter - she happens to enjoy potions. If you've got anything for rituals, that'd be great, too.""What kind of ritual - Light, Dark, Blood, Primal, or Other?" the boy asked calmly, glancing over at Trevor and David questioningly.

Hermione nodded before taking some more. She stopped and finished the rest of her sundae. "So ready to go? I still need to get a present for this guy here." Hermione said to Phobius as she gestured to Harry. Katherine looked to see her brothers done before looking at Harry, "Ready to go?" She asked seeing some ice cream on his face and wiping it off too. Trevor and David thought about it before David nodded for Trevor to ask, "Well she is an animagus so maybe primal rituals though she might be interested in blood and grey type magic. And are any of those spiders in jars for sale? I think she would like one as long as it is loyal to her like her familiar, Sorren, he's a owl." The father explained. David though was looking at the racks for anything knew for his daughter to wear.

Phobius nodded, finishing his own sundae and standing up before helping his girlfriend to her feet. Harry nodded, having finished what was left of the sundae. Aran smiled pleasantly in a way that was actually pretty creepy, heading into the "restricted" part of the shop and coming back out with three books - one on rituals in general, one on blood magic, and a fair-sized scroll titled "Unleashing Your Instincts", detailing the ritual that was basically a requirement to use the Primal Arts (and which required the sacrifice of at least part of the user's humanity). "These contain information on the subjects you asked for. As for the spiders, feel free to take a look. The crossbreeds and the spiders that have gained some form of magic are in the back, however. Don't handle any unless I give you the go-ahead; most of them can be rather dangerous if they deem you a threat."
