Chance looked at her and tryed smiling a bit looking a bit inoccent.
"well I think so...is it that kid from the ice cream shop?"
he said looking at her hopeing she wouldnt be mad. He rubbed her back a bit as he sat up a little but she was still on his lap.

Jenna clenched her teeth together and felt her eyes start to sting but she tried hard not to cry in front of him.
"Who told you?"
she whispered. She felt like she had lost her voice or something but she wanted to know how he found out her secret.

Chance ran his fingers lightly through her hair
"its alright baby, Im here for you. And it was your father who told me"
he said whispering in reply, he could tell she looked like she might start crying, not his most favorite thing in the world, but everyone needs to let their feelings out in some way. He was at least happy that they could talk about it and she could maybe be a bit more comfortable around him. Or at least this was his thoughts.

Self-conciously, Jenna started rubbing the back of her legs. She thought her scars made her so ugly, when someone pointed them out, it was a different excuse. She thought people would think of her differently if she told them the truth. Jenna could tell now, that the tears were visable in her eyes, but she didn't blink so they wouldn't start running down her face.

Chance noticed her rubbing her legs. He had noticed the scars before but now she seemed sad and hurt. He didnt like that at all and pulled her close, she was still sitting on his lap. He ran his hand down her leg and rubbed it gently where she seemed to have the scars. He had her wrapped in a hug with one arm. Chance kissed her forehead.
"baby dont worry, like I said before. Im here for you no matter what happens"
he brushed her hair aside from her face and hugged her close.

"They make me ugly."
she said, the tears finally coming down her face. She didn't look at him though, she didn't want to look at him, to try and figure out what he was thinking. She started crying hard now, remembering the night she had to go to the hospital. Remembering waking up in a white room that looked so dull and boring. And most of all, remembering how he kept trying to come back, how he kept calling, and how her parents wouldn't let him in the room to see her.

Chance rubbed her legs again and smiled at her.
"Jenna, hun, you couldnt be ugly. Your beautiful all around to me"
he said kissing her on the forehead and then rubbed her back comforting her.

Jenna turned her head to look at him.
"How long did have you known?"
She didn't think it could be that long since they have only known eachother for about a week now, but she was mad at her dad for telling him her secret. She still thought the scars made her ugly no matter what. A memory she would never get rid of.

Chance smiled at her. He didnt say anything about how long yet. Just smiled at her, he got up and picked her up in his arms and looked around a bit.
"hmmm now what would you like to do today?"
he asked still smiling as he looked at her. He was suddenly happy and wanted to go run in circles, or at least stay by her.

Jenna stared at him in the eyes wondering why he ignored her questoin.
"Chance...how long?"
She was alitte nervous, if he knew since they met, her dad wasn't going to hear the end of it.

he said still looking at the floor seeing she was a bit angry at this situation and really hadnt wanted him to know...

Jenna stared at him and whispered, almost like she was in pain. "Why?" she paused for a second. "Why didn't you tell me that you knew?" She noticed him looking at the floor and put her hand under his chin so she could look at him in the eyes.

Chance was a bit sad now. He hadnt know that she wanted to know...or that she didnt want him to know, or what to think anymore. But he was sad she seemed hurt.
"well, um...Im sorry"
was all he could manage to say at the moment.

Jenna hugged him around the neck and whispered.
"It's ok."
she knew she made him feel bad and she didn't want that.
"I love you no matter what."
she said smiling and changed the subject to what he had changed it to before.
"So what do you want to do today?"

Chance was a bit glad she wasnt mad at him. He hugged her back smiling as best he could but still was a bit confused. He really didnt know why she was so 'up tight' about the topic but he suposed he was about his past a lot to so she could be. He also didnt know what he wanted to do today.
"anything you do hun"
he said now smiling getting the other thoughts and what not out of his mind the best he could.
