Scorpio passed through the shield and took off his glove. Held it up in the air to take in any harmful air or fire as he made his way out of the volcano. "I have to see...who else has come..."

//Might as well whilst I'm here ^^
Danielis, stod there, armour glearing in the sun, a gentle breeze causeing his hair to flow some in its currents. His right hand tightened his grip around his swords handle, the gauntlet the provided the defence upon his right arm bound to his body bty tight leather straps across his chest. As his right arm lifted, his gauntlets spirit began to activate, and the kenetics within began to stir, energy built up some, and all along the outside of the gauntlet spikes around one inch long lay like a carpet over the metal. The energy that built up between the particles was discharged as static energy, instead of a heat, this effect happened because of the link Dan had with the spirit and had a control over the effects that would happen. The same was said for his sword and shield. His left hand slid behind him, and took ahold of the straps to his shield, like tenticles they wrapped around his left forearm. Bringing it out like a mirror is shining surface would reflect the suns full light at anyone, usefull in battles on the odd occasion. The Phoenix embedded upon his breast plate began to stir, awakened by Danielis's Mental readyness. Though no one was around so standing there looking around in a ready for battle frame of mind. An awearness that one would have. Brown optics scanned the area, taking in the enviroment.

 Kasuma poked her head around a pillar. This was a really strage suit of armour that guy was wearing. She slipped on a cool pair of shades before deciding to wander down. She walked steadily and jiggly down the stairs. "Hey there, you looking for anyone.... Mr tall metal and shiny." Kasuma grinned.

Quint's footsteps were soft walking into the arena; he liked the calm silence when noone was there. Reaching the entrance to the arena floor, he started routine stretches, followed by a quick jog.
"Only a few days left..." His mind would tell him, "Will you be ready?"

With his jogging done, Quint decided to focus on his Alchemy, after all, it was the reason he needed to train in the first place.
First he worked on his barricade. He felt it was too weak, simple concrete being the only thing used. After a bit of thought, he tried using Titanium for reinforcement. Abundance meant that he could use it a lot, and it's strength for it's size was unmatched. Strong as steel, yet easier to make; Twice as strong as aluminium, at the cost of a little weight. The new titanium reinforced wall could withstand a small explosion, and kinetic energy equal to the amount of a sports car going 50 MPH. After a little more thought about Fluffy and his abilities, Quint then added glass to the mixture, putting a thick sheet in the middle of the wall. This would help if the creature decided to spray a bit of acid his way, effectivly blocking the deadly blood. The only problem that came with it would be the fact that the glass could shatter, putting Quint in danger. He shrugged this off however, he felt that the benefits outweighed the dangers.
Next he worked on a bit of personal protection, namely armor for his limbs and chest. During his adventures in Shamballa, the warring nation in which the monster was born, Quint heard of a material called Alumina AL203, an alchemy created solid. It was extremely durable, lightweight, and chemically stable, making it the best protection Quint could ask for. Usually created in plates of 20x30cm, Quint decided to make a fitted armor, protecting his body all over except his head, hands, and joints.
He laughed, it had been a long time since he prepared this much for a fight.

Gatz walked in to see what Quint was working on. He looked at the barrier and inspected it.
"That's pretty soild, alright..." he said. He tapped the glass layer on the wall.
"Hey, shouldn't you fuse the quartz glass to the wall--like a mirror--or at least use an adhesive to attach it?" he asked. "That way if it breaks, most of the sheet will still sick to the barrier. Of course, with the strength of the acid that thing gives off, quartz glass is still going to break down eventually... Still, it'll be more resistant than just leaving it as it is."
((Ever hear of acid-ecthed glass..?))

Rioushu walked in quietly and quickly into the arena, his arms wrapped in bandages. He was still feeling a bit sore from his last fight, so he was carrying his sword with his mouth, careful not to cut off his own tongue. He took the sword and put it in his hand. "Man, I still can't carry it very much."

((Ever hear of acid-ecthed glass..?)) ((I have now. Gogo Wikipedia! 3nodding )) Quint quickly thanked Gatz, then getting to work on the newest barrier. Quint thought of using a process similiar to that of creating safety (Read: bulletproof) glass. Sheets of glass, about 12mm thick were placed together with a substance called polyvinyl butyral to keep them in place. Now if the glass were to shatter, it would break in a way that could allow the remaining wall behind a chance to catch the shards. Quint would have used the suggested quartz glass, but upon a bit of thought, he found that quartz is helpful only when large amounts of heat or radiation are involved. It was chemically unstable enough for the acid to eat through quickly, and weak enough to shatter from quick, repeated blows. Looking at his newest piece of work, Quint thanked the man again. "I told you that you'd be a great alchemist. You seem to think things through, and that's the difference between being safe behind a wall," Without a second though, Quint summoned a massive fireball that destroyed his earlier barrier, the glass shards forced behind the blast's direction, through the wall. "And being impaled because of it."

Aonice hopped down from the bleachers, looking over the guys.. "We've got some Aluminum Glass sitting in our labs, it's been tested and such, the only difficult process is molding it for practical uses, but if all you need is a sheet, it's fine" She nodded, stepping forward.."It's a new type of molecule scientists of created by mixing the rare earthly metals with that of alumina, in turn, under immense heat, creates Transparent metal. It doesn't shatter, hardly scratches, and only breaks if being welded apart, much like Metal" She nodded, taking Gatz' side... (( I knew i shoulda bookmarked the link. You can find various articles about it by googling Transparent Aluminum. Ha, here it is: http://www.livescience.com/technology/051018_new_glass.html ))

"Destruction is just as important in alchemy as preservation." Quint explained, "Because if everything stayed alive, where would the new things go?"
