*sigh* Back & recovering. Sadly it was mostly a waste of time, as I learned very little new (I tend to dive deep when told top learn a new tool/tech).

I'm sorry it was so disappointing . . .
I wish I had more to add other than getting to watch the new Civil War movie and loving it.

*heartfelt shrug* The guild is thoroughly dead. I can't really whine about your troubles in keeping up a convo. I'm just glad you keep talking, old friend.
The weekend was okay. went to see Civil War, had a flat tire on the way, but things worked out okay. The movie was really very good- excellent in fact. Just another day for now. I plan on taking my wife to get her what she wants within reason as a gift. Our tradition was for me to take her to get flowers/plants for her gardens. This year might be different, but we shall see.
I'm glad your parents had a lovely surprise. smile

feh. it happens to the best of us, my dear friend. Don't stress it.
and actually . . . *goes full nerd* Captain America: The Winter Soldier was the second one, this was technically the third . . . but to be honest, it was an avengers movie. The story focused on Cap, but so many other people played major parts, this was an avengers movie. I wanna see it again.

It most definitely is a re-watch, and I cannot wait for the opportunity. Truly, a magnificent film with more than one twist I did not see coming as well as great humor. Really a fun romp.
Sorry for my silence the past few days. Things have been . . . unpleasant here.

With the decades of stories told to draw upon, compounded with the sheer volume of superheroes and villains, the MCU will not run out of fodder for centuries.

With examples like The Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant Man, I think they have shown 2nd stringers turned into marquee names. Furthermore, see Doctor Strange.

I had thought Ant Man didn't do well, though I know Guardians did better than anybody expected.

By Marvel standards, no, but by most movie standards, yes. He did fine, essentially. Fine enough to warrant a sequel due out next year: "Ant Man and the Wasp."

Ah, I see, those comments were relative, not absolute.
This & the next 4 weeks are going to be pretty bad for me (60+ hours per week) since i am needed at 2 clients during this period. I'll try to not let it affect my activity here.
