While sitting in the train en route to Lavender Town, Mike glanced over at a young girl sitting on the oppisite side of the train, she was holding what looked like a photo of a Pokemon, and sobbing.
"What's wrong?" Mike asked, curious as to why such a pretty girl was so upset.
"My Pokemon died a few months ago *sniff* and I'm going to the Pokemon Tower to visit it.." said the girl, talking about the subject obviouisly brought back some painful memories, so Mike decided not to say anymore.
The train arived and Mike watched the girl get off, suddenly feeling uneasy about the trip.

"Yep," Nina replied. "I met him the other day when I first met Mitsu and Ken." Marill shifted in her arms. "Oh, before I forget, would you like to swap PokeNav numbers?"

Mike stepped off the train, looking around for Kasiya. As he walked through town with his Pokemon, he looked up at the seemingly endless building that had to be the Pokemon Tower the girl spoke of. He stood there, frozen, staring at the building.

"Okay," Kasiya said, and registered Nina in her PokeNav. "Let's get to the station, the train will be here shortly."

Nina registered Kasiya as well. "All right," she said, scopping Marill up and setting her on Nina's shoulder. Misdreavus floated on the other side of Nina as she walked toward the door.

Charmander, growing impatient at Mike''s staring, decided to have a little fun. He "accientally" set Mike''s pant leg on fire.
"Hm...what''s what burni-AAGGHH!" Mike screamed as he ran around Lavender town on fire.

Kasiya stepped out of the Pokemon Center with Vaporeon at her side and Pikachu on her shoulder. The Pokemon Tower loomed ominously over the entire town. She and Nina headed in that direction, which was also the same way as the Train Station. Kasiya knew the trains were ridiculously fast, and Mike would be arriving within the half hour. She decided to enjoy the walk, noting how the ground was still damp from last night's rain.

Shiver, in a state of day dream, awoke suddenly with Mike's screams. He then proceeded to shoot icicles at his trainer in attempt to douse the flames.

Nina followed Kasiya closely, looking around at the town. It reminded her of Saffron City's current state- desolate and gloomy. The Pokemon Tower may have had an influence in that.

Unable to keep his laughter in (not like he was trying) Charmander collapsed to the ground in tears he was laughing so hard.
Shiver, while giggling too, was trying to stop Mike from totally burning up, no matter how comical it was.

"Nina, do you hear something?" Kasiya asked, coming to a stop. She didn't have time to say anything else as a figure came running towards them, screaming in agony, and engulfed in flames. Trailing behind him was a Charmander that looked incredibly amused, and a Shellder that kept leaping up off the ground and launching icicles at him. Kasiya recognized him immediately, and pointed at him. "Let's go, Vaporeon! Use Water Gun!"
Vaporeon darted forward and aimed at the flaming figure, then fired her Water Gun at him.

"Ack!" Nina half-yelled. "That's Mike!" She took Marill off of her shoulder and pointed at Mike. "Go, Marill! Use your own Water Gun attack too!" ((By this time, she technically should have it.))

Hearing two very familier shouts, Mike turned around to two streams of water nailing him and sending him flying back. Sliding across the dirt, Mike layed there dazed, the fire died into a small smokey stack.

Kasiya ran up to Mike's smoking form, Vaporeon already circling him. Out of breath, she gasped "Mike!!! Why were you on fire???"
