Silentcloud nods firmly to his leader, then casts a carefull glance at Whitewind. The white warrior was a little shocked to be given such an important job, not missing the look in his leaders eyes, but composes himself quickly, nodding to Showerstar.
"If you want me to. I promise to get them all safely home."
He nods respectfully to his leader then, gathering Rainpaw with his tail, heads over to the rest of the clan to guide them home, Silentcloud's hate filled gaze following him the whole way.

Shadowriver didn't know those cats, Rainpaw, Silentcloud, or Whitewind, but she knew that something was up. she looked back at the witch. " What shall we do with her? " she questioned, looking at the other cats for ideas.

Showerstar padded to Moonstar.
"How long do you believe we should keep our
warrior's posted here?" He asked.

Moonstar thought about it. "Well, if it stays here for several hours then we might as well go home and leave one warrior to watch, but hopefully it'll leave before then. We should probably think about a way to get it away from the forest."

((sorry for inactivity. Been busy with other stuff and I never knew that Rainfur was actually a cat in Firestar's Quest. Well not until I just finished reading it.))

(( a witch ran into the clearing in the middle of a gathering, Shadowriver told everyone what it was, and now some cats have gone home and some cats have stayed here to watch the witch. ))

((A two leg witch (seeing as this is the middle ages and witches were burned at the stake) and thanks xDareToShinex for making me wish I could read Firestar's Quest. I'm so impatient for it to get into softcover.))
Moonstar looked over to the witch who was still looking suspiciously at the remaining cats. It started to back off out of the clearing and then stopped and reached out toward Rainfur who was nearest to see if the cats were friendly.

Whitewind gathers the rest of his clan swiftly with his tail.
"We're heading back to camp!!" he says loudly and, after checking to see if every cat set to leave was present, turns and pads into the underbrush.

as the Two-leg reached for Rainfur.

Rainfur started to pace around the witch while hissing at it. She was about to sink her teeth into the leg of the twoleg until it rode onto the stick trying to escape.

Silentcloud lets out a shrill yowl as he sinks claw and fang into the calf of the witch, not letting her go without a fight.
"Filthy Twoleg!!!"

"Stop it!" Moonstar cried. "If there's a threat in the forest, us, then maybe it'll come back with more two legs to get rid of us!" He didn't think it would have made a different whether they were hostile or friendly to the witch but it might have been safer just to do nothing and maybe run away from the witch.
