At the comment at her being cold-hearted, she laughed and stuck her tongue out. She blinked and propped her chin on her hand, long, thin fingers framing her face.
"How about we each pay for our own meals, eh? Do things the good ol' Dutch way."
Looking up at Riko, she smiled. "A little hungry, are we?"

*Akiro blinked a couple of times, and turned to face her, a shocked look about him.* W...was that a yes? *Akiro shook his head, and got ahold of himself.* I mean, of course it's a yes. How could you say no? *He laughed, then upon noticing Riko, he scowled.* Oh, it's you. *He pulled out a comb and fixed his hair a bit.*

"Hey - hey! I could still say no. I mean," she took a sip of her drink, "it's not like a signed a bloody contract or something." Though her voice was very serious, she smiled and rolled her eyes.

*He snickered slightly, and locked his eyes on hers.* That would be a shame. It's not every day that a guy like me gets to go out somewhere nice with a pretty girl. *He grinned slightly, and layed back against the wall.*

Trin gave a short chuckle and took another swig of her soda, rolling her eyes. Though it would be very easy to call her mean and uncaring, she really was flattered by the comment. Yet, being the tom-boy fighter she was, she didn't blush. Acting girly wasn't her thing, and anyone around her could either deal or leave. Simple as that, she thought.

Listening on the conversation, it's very clear what Akiro's intentions were...thus, Riko had to step in! He sits next to Akiro and slings on of his arms over Akiro's shoulder. " Hey there buddy, where's my meal? You can't forget about little ol' me here could yeh?" He chuckles slightly after asking the question.

Riko, who feigns being taken aback, gasps. " Akiro, why I'd never. You? Accusing me of doing such horrible things to you? I'm shocked." He tries to suppress his laughter, barely managing to do so.

Riko strikes a slightly ticked off face. " Now that was just uncalled for...and besides, it was a lucky shot." He stood up and took a few steps before turning around. " I'll be in the autoshop fixin' my Bike. You know where to find me if anything comes up." He heads off to the autoshop, opening up the garage doors revealing a nicely tuned motorcycle which resembles slightly to that of a Harley Davidson. Grabbing the necessary tools, and necessary steps, Riko grabs a skateboard, and rolls under the Bike, starting to 'fix' it.

"Boys," she sighed, finishing off her lunch. "I'll never understand 'em. Oh, Gods help me if I ever do." She shuddered. "May that day never come." Done with her meal and feeling her Fire build up again, she clenched the sack with her trash in it. As she did, green and gold Fire whipped around her hand. When she unclenched her fist, there was nothing left.
"Well, back to work slacker," she teased, giving Akiro's foot a gentle kick. Though she wore no shoes, her feet had grown tough over the years. She walked back to the construction site, rubbing her hands together before cranking up her music. "Burn baby burn," she chuckled.

Natanya looked tiredly at the things she'd been sifting through, then, with a sigh, put them each away in their proper place. She had found nothing yet. Not the library, the medicines, the files nor the books had had what she needed. The time she'd put into her chi hadn't helped. Nothing had...
Alone--the nurse had gone to lunch, and the patients were asleep--she slumped over the counter, hands clenched into fists. She would never show such weakness to anyone, but alone... She could alone.
But none of them knew. None of them knew, and none of them would know. Not even when it was done would they know, for she would never say a word...
El, breaking off with the other students for a late lunch, went in search of something yummy. Someone had squished her bento, and she'd brushed off the repeated offers of a replacement meal. There was something acceptable on the grounds, she was sure. If not, she'd just go buy something somewhere else. No reason not to, after all.
