Haro looked up with an amused grin, maybe people were jealous, but Haro doubted it, besides... "You're forgetting I can count everyone I've known throughout my life on one hand," he murmured, stretching out his fingers as he turning his head towards Shin. "And more than half never knew me like this," he added, a soft smile twitching upon slick lips as his vision was cleared by two careful fingers.

He'd never...never thought anyone could be so nice to him. Lou had been nice enough but always felt distant...and Wei, well, Haro wasn't sure if his sort of affection could be called anything close to nice.

He liked many thing about Shin.
He liked the way he smelled, dressed, talked...
He enjoyed the fact that he never seemed to get too annyoed with Haro's ever forming questions.

But most all, he liked the way Shin treated him.

Scooting closer to the said teen who Haro held quite a bit of affection for, a coy sort of smile fluttering upon his features, the younger one continued with another one his seemingly random questions, "Your...your mother wouldn't mind if I liked you, ne?"

((Stupid Gaia... Dx))
He smiled. "I suppose I am forgetting that... So your owner never really had many people over?" he said in a slightly questioning tone. He looked over as he felt the other move closer to himself and smile. "No... I doubt she'd mind..." He suddenly seemed very happy, a bright smile spreading across his lips, making his eyes gleam. He no longer felt guilty about the kiss after Haro's words and was releived of that particular burden.

[[Indeed, I was so confused, I was like, 'But I haven't posted in 5 minutes! ;^;']

Smiling softly at the older teen's answer, the bright eyed boy muttered quietly, "That's good."

Thinking for a moment, trying to think through his words so he wouldn't confuse Shin. "Hm, let's see...Well, my owner did have groups of people over every once in a while, but they never stayed long... he was was not a home much so...so I guess there usually wasn't anyone home...besides Wei," he murmured, tapping his chin with one finger as he glanced towards the other.

He nodded, getting the gist of what the young teen said. "Do you what your owner did? Like if he had a job or something? And um... what was Wei, really?" he asked. He had been wondering about that since Haro had first mentioned him.

Blinking rapidly at the question, the boy frowned slightly, "I- ...he read a lot whenever he was home," he suggested with a laugh. He wasn't sure exactly what one would call his owner's job, he just knew he was rarely home. "Eh, Wei always said he fixed people...I'm...I'm not sure what that would be though," he murmured, a sigh catching between his lips as he then attempted to explain who Wei was.

"What...what was he?" Haro blinked several times before answering. "I-...he was a ...human, more or less," he said with slight trouble, not exactly sure what Shin meant. In truth, Wei wasn't human, but the boy didn't really want the other to know that...

He raised an eyebrow. "No, I mean... was he your owner's friend or did he work for him or something?" he asked, perplexed. But the more Haro told him, the more confused Shin became and he began to think it might hae been better not to ask in the first place, since it seemed to make the young teen flustered, anyway.

Haro forced out a nervous laugh, dropping his eyes as he answered, "Oh! I...he, he just took care of us when my owner was gone, he was our...our..." Frowning, the boy searched for the right word, failing with a sigh, he murmured, "...he lived next to us."

"Oh... he was your owner's neighbor, then?" he asked. That made more sense than anything else the teen had said and his expression immidiately seemed to clear. "Well, I suppose that makes sense," he said with a releived smile, happy that he finally understood.

Haro looked incredibly relieved that Shin understood him, a smile flickering upon his face. Pushing back longer strands of hair behind his ears, the boy mumbled, "Mn, a neighbor...s-sorry...I just...I just couldn't think of it for...some reason," averting his gaze once more to skim over the lake, eyes not searching for anything imparticular.

[[Woah, crap posts. Sorry. XD -runs off fo' dinner-]]

He shrugged. "Well, given that you've only been speaking human for two days in that last year or so, I'd say your vocabulary is surprisingly good." He slipped his hand around Haro's, his head turning back to the water. It was beautiful the way the light played across it.
((What time of day is it in the RP..? How 'bout just before sunset (of you don't mind)?))

[[Fine with me. n.n]]

"Hm, I guess," he murmured in response, a soft pink dusting his cheeks as delicate fingers twitched lightly against Shin's due to the boy's own anxiety. He didn't know why he was so nervous all of a sudden. It wasn't as if holding someone's hand meant anything, or so he figured.

Following the nearly black haired male's gaze, golden eyes softened slightly as Haro stared at bright patches of water. They were pretty...

"N-ne, why...why is the water so...why is it that color?" He asked, pointing out to the parts of water that were reflecting the sinking sun.

"It's reflecting the setting sun..." A soft smile spread across his face as he watched the sky grow pink and rosy, and the water mirror it. The sun was an orange disk low in the sky surrounded by waves of red pink and purple.

He had never been too fond of the dark, or anything that led up to it...and yet...this was nice. Yes, a ghost of a smile on his face, yes, this was nice. "Nn, that's...it's pretty," he murmured. He'd have to remind Shin to tell him more about reflections and such later...

Fingers threaded between the other's, Haro gave Shin a bright smile that the sun just might envy on a cloudy day. Pale golds and pinks reflected against pale skin, the boy's own eyes narrowed softly in thought.

Shin...he...he didn't remind him of night, of the dark, or anything close to it. Bright blue eyes and his unrelenting kindess was like a sunny, midday sky to him, unblemished by clouds...simply perfect. At least that's how he might describe it with such a limited vocabulary...but dusk was nice too, what with it's soft pinks and golds which would soon fade into darkdark inky blue.

With a final glance towards the sky, Haro mused to himself...he'd take a bright sky blue horizon over a dusky or dawn-colored sky any day.

[[I need to stop writing all metaphorical...ish. x_o; Sorry. xD]]

((Well, it's fun to read at least. =3))
He felt the other's eyes on him, but didn't look back, not wanting Haro to feel nervous. The sun finally set, leaving a slight glow in the sky. It would be very dark soon and he stood up. "What do you think... should we get home before it gets too dark?"
