(epic facepalm..... gonk Ummmm... Would your Lantern character have any clue about .... secret identities? I know Lanterns allow for secret ids. Because I see this going sideways in a hurry.)

 Starfire was conflicted. The last time she went out to help as a heroine.... She ended up abused by federal agents. This Lantern was complicating her employment; normal people didn't understand the positions that the Green Lanterns held in the universe. Slowly, Kori walked forward with 'butterflies' in her stomach, "Ummmm.... Excuse me, Sir? Ummm... You are making everyone in here nervous. Not many people here know your status or authority. And... there are ... local concerns. It is not polite just to barge into a nightclub without checking in at the Maitre D."

Valdemar glance down at the woman who approached him. He listened with great care as she spoke. He didn't mean to be rude. It was just how he acted back on his home planet. He was listening to this girl when his ring started to blink. He held his hand out and pointed the ring towards the girl. The ring glowed fully green as it recognized the girl.
Valdemar smiled at the girl. He couldn't believe she was the one he was after. No, it wasn't just her. There was another that needed to come with him. He bowed his head, "I am truly sorry but it is an emergency. There is a grave danger that will come upon this world. I was task to find the greatest heroes and gather them together to fight this evil. I was told there were two here. If I'm not mistaken, you are one of them."

Starfire was sure that she felt herself wince. While looking up at the Lantern, "Ummm... I... am working here. And if I leave, I am sure that I will lose my employment. And I really don't want to lose my job and my appartment, and I do not want to end up living in a box of cardboard on the street. Besides, my boss is right here.... Ummmm.... Mr. Cobblepot?"

"It's alright, Miss Anders..." Oswald said gently, quietly. Just enough for her to hear. "To be quite honest, I was surprised to hear that you came in today. I...heard at least some of what had happened. We can discuss things over privately later if you wish. I know. But...you do not have to worry about losing your job over it. Or this. I trust saving the world has more of a priority than walking dishes back and forth."

Raven  Raven stood and sighed moving closer to the throng of people. "I am the other, Raven Roth. What is this dire emergency that you must come into a civilian building and frighten the citizens? This is not wise if you wish to aviod a panic." She asked, her eyes dark. She was hoping she didn't have to expose herself in front of so many people for two main reasons; Quinn, and that she had been thought dead for a while.

Crystal came out the back rooms after she had gotten changed into something more.... Appropriate... for work and a long bath, God knows she had needed it.
She looked around the room and noticed a small gathering as she looked up at Star, Oswald and the Lantern... And Raven? She walked over, interjecting. "Is 'dere anyting I can help you with Madam Lantern?" She spoke with a long southern drawl.
Crystal placed a hand on her hip as it stuck out in an expecting mannor, her eyebrow raised at the three of them.

Starfire beamed with tears of joy looking at Ozwald Cobblepot, "Oh, thank you, Sir! Thank you!"
The bronzed Tamarian redhead leaned over and gently kissed Penguin on his cheek, "Thank you, you are very kind."
With that, she stood back up and turned toward Valdemar and Raven, "We can go, but ... there is a tiny problem. My costume is ... elsewhere and I will not have this outfit ruined; it is what I wear for work."

Valdemar glanced around the room at all of the civilians. This wasn't his planet and he had to remember that these weren't his people. They wouldn't act the way he was use to. He shook his head of how stupid he was.
He turned to the new comer as his ring confirmed she was in fact the other one. He smiled a bit to ease the tension, "Maybe we should how you say, talk in private".

RavenRaven nodded and gently ushered the pair into a small room at the Lantern's direction then held onto her lover's hand after she had closed the door. She sent her soul-self out to the apartment and found her normal robes and a set of short that could be called a belt and a shirt that might be a bra for Starfire. When she had them in her hands, she intructed the male to turn and they changed quickly befor eshe informed him that he may look again. "Now, what is this emergency? I do not believe you are aware of this, but Starfire must keep a low-profile for the time being. You should have gone through the correct channels." She told him, her gaze not rude, simply informative.

Crystal followed the other three and got the door slammed in her face. She grimaced at the door and folded her arms. Seeming that the Lantern was looking right at her when he spoke she assumed that she had been invited along.
She sighed and turned to walk away, upset and frustrated.

Valdemar looked surprised when Raven told him to turn. Not wanting to upset them anymore, he turned away from the two. He thought about how unwillingly the first one came with him. It was upsetting that in a time of need like this, the only great heroes were unwilling to fight.
Once they changed and Raven told him he could look, he turned towards them. He looked at the two now changed and he had to say they were quite stunning. If they were on his planet they would be considered beautiful. Valdemar nodded before speaking, "I truly am sorry about that. The situation called for action to gather the heroes. I believe we should have proper introductions. I am Valdemar Vayn, but you can simply call me the Green Lantern".

Oswald watched the group dissapear into the room, his face flush a bit. Both from the kiss, the Raven as she called herself, and from the utterly annoying way this Green Lantern barged into his Lounge. If the man hadn't had important business, he would have had every intention of throwing him out. This was a civilized establishment after all. Although he did get a few hero and villain guests, most of his buisness were ordinary people.
There was no call for scaring the daylights out of them.
