"Probably considering I'm over 9,000 years old." said Magnus said with a wry smile.

Azriel sighed, closing her eyes in thought for a moment, consulting her otherselves.

Chiaro leered and stated coldly, "It is up to you. But remember that this is the person who put your safety at risk with his curiosity."

"And yet, that Magnus over there is looking to challenge all of us, it seems. If we're edged into using the Resonance, everything will be revealed anyhow. In the heat of a fight, reflexes are hard to control. You sure as hell can't control the need to move your wings in that kind of situation."

Chiaro sighed agitatedly, one hand massaging her brow, the other clenched into a fist.

Azriel at last replied, "It isn't too hard to figure out why I'm not too open." She figured Cain was sharp enough to remember how the king's guards reacted when he blurted out what he did about her. She frowned at the thought. "Even if this is just for quelling curiosity...I can't risk divulging such information either way. And yet, I have a feeling there are others in the group trying to press in on me. So I'm at a standstill. I'm not really up for answering your questions, but I feel like things are going to spill out soon anyway. Honestly, it is getting rather discomforting."

As the group had made their way through the forest toward the camp, Azriel was surprised that anything hadn't jumped her the whole way through. She had forgotten to use a Holy Bottle. Perhaps it was Magnus' influence.

After Cain had asked his question, she replied, "Heh...I'm more up for eating first."

She sat down on a nearby log and watched in slight amusement as Kruhk and Schwarz went off to their hijinx in the direction of that scream until they went out of sight. Then she sighed and stared off at the ground with a look of discontent on her face, the thought of Cain's questioning still fresh in her mind. Her answer was so open-ended, and she hated leaving things like that. She actually wanted to be open about herself, but with the strong possibility of there being an enticing price on her head, that made things very difficult. She just couldn't trust anyone as carefree as she used to anymore.

Magnus walked back to the others dragging a rather bruised looking Kruhk. "See that's why you can't be that forward with a women, they usually find it offensive. Looking at the others. "Our friend Kruhk here decided to harass a female elf and didn't exactly leave unscathed, anyway we're ready to go when you are." said Magnus.

Oro followed behined Magnus, "Well whatever you decide, I'm staying here till my brother ends his joyride." He proceeded to jump up a tree to a large branch and sat down.

Out in the forest Schwarz so called, "Joyride", had turned into more of a hang on and don't fall off ordeal. "Whoa! Stop! Please!?!" The bear didn't listen, and continued to run in the forest not sure what to do with his passenger. "Why Me!"

"Well, that's what husband and wife would've done right!? She was pratically speechless!" Kruhk roared.

((@Sheena: Uh...I thought we were already at the campsite? o.o;; ))

Seeing that Magnus and Kruhk had barged back in and began to argue, Azriel became distracted from her thoughts. She looked over at them and couldn't help but smile in amusement as she watched and listened to them go at it. Noticing that the brothers hadn't come back yet, she also began to wonder what happened to them.

"What a maroon," Oscuro remarked and snickered, referring to Kruhk.

"You two are giving me a headache you know that?" He hoped down out of the tree and walked over and sat on the log with Azriel, "Two answers about me and my brother I'd like two know. Do we bicker back and forth like this," He pointed towards Magnus and Kruhk, " and more of an odder question Azriel. How old do you think me and my brother are?" the only reason he asked the second question is that he felt like he was giving of and older vibe then how he looked, "answer truthfully I can tell when people lie."

To Oro's first question, Azriel answered jokingly with a laugh, "I don't know if I can compare. I mean, I don't hear him go on about girls."

To the other question, she paled. She could also feel the pang of nervousness that went through her otherselves.

"F@#$! He's not bluffing."

"They're relentlessly trying to squeeze this out of us now, aren't they?"

"Don't answer. You're not exactly lying that way, you're just not saying anything."

Hearing Magnus' answer, she saw this as an opportunity to avoid answering the question herself. She cocked an eyebrow at him as if to look at him strangely and asked with a tone of surprise, "Whoa, how did you figure that out?"
