Hello, my name is MercyWild. I have experienced a decent number of paranormal/supernatural activity and phenomenon over my life time. I have a long standing interest in the paranormal, supernatural and occult. Most anything to do with psychic phenomenon is a focus of mine. Some of my hobbies are hiking out in the wilderness, gardening, cooking/baking, knitting, writing and trying to figure out how where I left my iPod. My time is divided between being a stay at home mom to my young daughter and taking care of my husband, who is a disabled Army veteran. At present I am looking at going back to school to build onto my existing degree when my daughter enters Kindergarten next year.

Hello whee
After reading Franz Bardons "Initiation into hermetics" a few months ago, ive become interested in the supernatural. But because of where I live, I cannot talk or find people to talk to about this. So im hopeing to find people also interested with Hermetics online.

Greetings and Salutations!
I am Angus, but you may call me JAE_(!) if you like!
I am an occultist of sorts having studied many different forms of the occult and magic in general for nearly nine years (and still counting I might add!) One might call me a Chaos magician for lack of better terminology. I find what works and use it to my advantage and since my knowledge on the occult covers everything from Shamanism to the Hermetic Order of the Golden I think that is well suited.
I have had paranormal experiences since I was a small child and only now do I truly understand them. Recently there has been much activity in my duplex that I share with a witch. When I lived with my mum there was a lot of activity around the house. It frightened me so much and I wanted to know if I was going mad or if those things that I saw were real.
Mostly I joined to find more people to talk about the occult and the paranormal. I am part of many occult guilds on Gaia but a few of them have been rather broken lately and not many people are posting. This guild seemed to be rather active.
Any questions that you have for me, be they about banishing rituals, protection wards, witchcraft, or the monkey that I carry around in a basket (that coincidentally ate a magic fish that tells the future) just PM me and I will answer to the best of my ability.

My best friend and I have a small group of friends who are mediums, though some of us are more into it then others. I have found my spirit guide and my spirit animal guides through mediation. I consider myself to be werewolf, and I act very wolf like during full moons, walks in the forest, and just generally at night. I have had many experiences with spirits as well.

The MOST impressionable moment, for ANYONE given life, are between birth and age five.There are some that might argue it is birth though age six. There are others, even still, whom might say, it is birth all the way through pre-teen.
Regardless, for which ever it is; and/ or, for what ever you may decide to believe; I (personally) find it interesting, that, regardless of just how "impressionable" those years are supposed to be, they are somehow forget. (the Culture of Memory)So, just HOW impressionable can those years TRULY be? Are they TRULY forgotten? Or, do we undoubtedly carry what ever knowledge it is we gain from those years as a secret to who we are (inside), for the rest of our lives?
I believe, that, it is within those first five years of a person's life- may be not just people, but ALL walks of life- combined with that of a "first memory" are THE defining moments for whom or what we are to become (in/ for the future).
***p.s.- had to edit to say: what a start! The last post- the one DIRECTLY above mine- just so happens to have been my birthday!!!! LOL!!!

Perhaps, if you are like me, you might wonder why and how I would post such an evasive introduction as the one I had. Well, here is to making myself a bit more clear: Let me put it like this: What is the VERY first thing YOU can remember? How young(?) were you? And, do you think/ feel your very first memory has had an impact on who you are and what you believe in today?
I do. I believe soul-heartedly, that, if a person can/ could/ does remember that first memory, then, it will play into affect who we are and what we will believe in as adults. Why else are we able to remember these things that have happened SO long ago; yet, for some, we can't even remember what we had for breakfast yesterday!?! 18 months. I was 18 months old, and my little sister was only two weeks of age when we had been left alone for eight hours. It was during those eight hours which played a vital role for who I am and for what I believe. Well, at the very least, it was the beginning/ opening of/ for my beliefs in/ of supernatural/ paranormal activity.

Hii, Call me Boo or Bats :3 I quit Gaia about 3 years ago and now I'm back due to severe boredom. I've always been fascinated by ghosts and I've had a few experiences in my house which scared the living balls off me. I watch all those haunted shows on TV and read ghost stories and if I'm feeling particularly ballsy look at ghost pictures. All of this renders me incapable of sleeping and freaking out D; But I still love it! I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of people here!

I usually go by "Mrs. Slendy", "Slendy", or just "Slen". Take your pick, or just feel free to call me "HEY YOU" lol
Anyway... I go by the Slendy moniker because I used to go by "Mrs. Slendy" on a paranormal board... but lately that board has been INCREDIBLY boring, so I came here.
