"Who's that?" Jaden asked with mild curiousity as he looked at his hand which even now was starting to heal. Something hurt deep inside him when he saw that when the burns passed over his scars they remained unchanged. Sometimes he wished they could just be torn off with his skin but they wouldn't be.

Myyth also noted that his scares had not been affected, and filled it way for another time. "She's a demon elder. We're on decent terms so far as I know." Myyth shrugged as it was hard to be sure with seeing her. "She dislikes carnage in general, so she should stand with us against the vamps for the current situation."

"If I go too then we'll just say I'm a rugged guy and not a source of carnage." Jaden said rather humorlessly. Come to think of it he was sure he had heard the name Nim before. When had that been?... Oh yeah, back when he was in serious mode all the time and had officially met Myyth and Dusk in Demonic Ties, back when Dusk was having trouble controlling his transformations... that had caused him to turn up later from...
Jadens mind cut itself off to perserve some sanity at that point. It was useless to dwell on the past but it always seemed to creep up on him.

"Its none of her business who you are, unless you choose to make it so." Myth said with a shrug as she turned to walk toward the back stairs. A slight grin spread across her face as she reached the door and turned back. "What do you say to a bit of hunting afterward, if we have time?"

Jaden noticed his head tilting sideways as he watched the delicate sway of his elders hips as she walked and quickly snapped back up when she turned. Hunting did sound fun, he was used to hunting alone but it seemed that lately all of the hunting he had done was with that girl. That was strange.
"Fun." he said happily moving quickly after her like an obedient puppy. "You really think a conversation this important would last so briefly?"

Myyth shrugged. "I really don't know. If she's thinking as we are, all we'll need to do is confirm that we want to work together, and the rest will come later if we can pull the hunters on board as well......" Her grin widened somewhat. "But even if it takes all day, that would just be more reason to go find a snack, now wouldn't it?"

"Yeah." Jaden said bluntly coming up behind her and nuzzling her neck affectionatly. "Meetings and snacks. Only sounds vaugly worth while." His ears appeared out of his hair gently since they were so far back, he had been getting tired of holding them down anyway.

Myyth leaned into Jaden comfortably, and nuzzled the underside of his chin with her nose. "Anything that leads to the vampires running scared can only be good for us."

Jaden smiled as he felt a tingling sensation run through his body and down to the tip of his tail. He was enjoying this greatly, just being able to belong for the first time in centuries really made him feel... good.
Gently he nuzzled Myyth back and glanced up the stairs. "Were we going to go right away to see the demons or is there time for other such things first?" he asked letting only the hint of suggestion creep into his voice. "Your eyes should be in prime condition before we leave anyway."

Myyth twisted around to nibble Jaden's chin lightly. "Seeing as Dusk hasn't come found us, I'd say we have time for something..." She mummered with an almost straight face, even as her other hand started to scratch around the base of his ear.

In a moment of perfectly bad timing, Dusk leapt down the stair and marching in, sliding across the bar and making his way across to Jaden and Myyth. There was a definite spring in his step, and his tail wagged easily behind him as he greeted them.
"OK, Sorry about the wait, I'm here, so, off to Neko's, right? Or did you want to finish whatever you two are planning first? I can wait!" He chuckled and placed his hands on his hips.

Jaden stared at Dusk with his crimson eyes and tilted his head indicating both a suprise at his attitude and irritation at his horrible timing. "Don't know." he said bluntly still tilting his head more. "Did you want to leave right now Myyth?" his fingertips were twitching from the attention she was paying to his ears.

Myyth wrinkled her nose at the untimly intrusion, and with a final pat stopped playing with Jaden's ears. Definetly undecieded she wighed her options. She didn't want to leave Jaden hanging after the tesing but at the same time, this was farily important. "Not really......but we should."

He sighed softly and gave a nod, giving a small smile.
"I'll try to keep it short, you can always leave early if you want to, I won't keep you." He said and patted them both on the shoulder.

Jaden smirked and let his tail wander out of his pants to brush against Myyths leg. There would be time later, he was very patient afterall... most of the time.
As Dusk got closer to him Jaden sniffed the air and felt like a sledgehammer collided with his nose. Jumping lightly at this he glared at the alpha male. "Dusk she's all over you. Just what were you two doing anyway?" At least now he knew why the alpha was in such a good mood.
