As Kel put his scrolls away Zig still wondered what they were about. He looked a little bored and perhaps frustrated, but she didn't really know why. Tala, by contrast, looked worried. Probably about her friends. Taun was just sitting there with his drink. The air elementalist sighed and glanced back toward the fight. Surprisingly, little had happened since she'd last watched the combatants. She sighed and wondered when all this fighting would be over. She also wondered what effect the eclipse would have, especially since that must be messing up the tides. The water kingdom might have some problems with that.

Zig turned quickly when Kel began to speak. He sounded a bit angry which surprised her somewhat. Evidently Tala had asked him about his wound which, because she was a healer, wasn't surprising. Wonder how he got that anyway...

It seems the King was waiting for him to make a move, so Delrath decided too. He held his sword high in the air, and shot some Dark Energy that he was charging in his hand at a nearby tree, creating a pool of darkness on the side of it. He then proceeded to run and jumped right into the pool. The pool disappeared, and quickly reappeared right next to the King. Delrath leaped out of it, and swung his sword right at him.

"Well thank you for your concern Tala." Taun said after he handed the bottle back to her, he then watched the exchange between the other three with a small smile on his face. He wasn't really paying attention, in his mind he was back on his boat in the full sunshine. He finally was brought out of his reverie when another surge of dark energy filled his mind. He turned and looked as the reaper was swinging his sword at the king's back.

Kel took a moment to turn away. "Actually, I'm not entirely sure this burn isn't contagious. All the better I keep it concealed." Kel looked at his hand again, he rolled up his sleeve and unwrapped his forearm down to his hand again. His arm appeared to be badly burned like the injury was fresh but he didn't look surprised at all by it. As he inspected his arm a shock did come to him. "Is it? uh oh..." He fiercely re-wrapped his arm as the burn patches began to glow slightly in a deep maroon. The residual dark energy in the air was being drawn into his arm. It had stung a little from exposure to the darkness in the open air but it rapidly became clear that the wrapping wasn't stopping the absorption. He quietly rolled down his sleeve and turned around to face the fight again.

Zig had been absorbed in watching the fight until Kel walked past. What the hell does he think he's doing? She wondered why the dark energy was so attracted to his arm and just how the smith expected to get out there without being hurt. What's his reason for diving into such danger anyway? He seemed to be approaching the tentacle pit which couldn't have been the best choice. That was the thing most likely to hurt him after all.

"I don't know," Taun replied. "but he has been acting weird ever since we outside the gate for the first time."

Colm quickly side stepped out of the way. "That was very foolish, almost like a mortal." Colm forced the sword from the reapers hands and forced closed a dark portal around him. "Try moving now." The king laughed as five more swords appeared and levitated around the reaper. "This might hurt." motion with the sword the five swords slashed at the reaper with extreme force, seizing the moment Colm jabbed the sword at the reaper.
