((Gatz;s point earlier was that since he can here you through the bubble, it's not airtight, allowing an attack like this to pass through it--though I suppose you could always claim to have some sort of 'magic air filter/purifier' built in... sweatdrop Bah, I'm trying to drag realtime-physics into an anime-based dicussion. xd

And if you're wondering about how Gatz managed the air trick, it's not just elements thrown at him he can use his chi to redirect...))

Gatz look up at the sudden explosion, still grabbing onto Leo's wrist. Once his technique had ended, had had been planning to allow the air to redistribute itself naturally. If they had been out in the open, maybe he could have gotten awya with just throwning himself against the ground... but in this enclosed space, the superheated air would have nowhere to rise to. Instead, it would spread out until it filled every nook and crany of space, then the blast would force itself out the entrance--sort of like lighting gunpower inside a cannon barrel.

"Ka. Su. Maaaaaa..." Gatz started, eye twitching slightly as he watched the sheet of fire started to flow down towards him. He lifted his umbrella above him. "The fight was over already..."



Gatz and Leo were swallowed up by the huge inferno for several seconds. Then it was over, and the smoke began to clear. Gatz was standing in a small, uncharred circle that was only as wide as his umbrella. And Leo, who he was no longer holding onto... ((rode the blast outside and escaped..? is powered-up..?))

((... sweatdrop Kasuma is somone who will jump in to help without thinking things through first, isn't she..? xd

wink Not that Gatz isn't similar in that regard, but when he does it, the part he doesn't think is what will happen to himself; he usually still thinks about what will happen to others involved.))

Leo was revitalized by the explosion and rose up onto his feet. Scorpio stepped forward a bit, still near Kasuma. "Hmm...It's a...Good to see...you're okay, Leo."

"Heh, blow it out of your a**! I'm done fighting for today. We'll settle this later, Gatz and Scorpio," he said before eyeing Kasuma and winking at her, "And perhaps this fine lady too, if she's interested." He then laughed a bit before snapping his fingers. The lava began to fall, the volcano would be asleep once more soon. He placed his hands in his pockets. He ignited his legs and flew out of the volcano.

"Not as good as I'd be if I hadn't almost been lit on fire," he responded bluntly.

Gatz sigh and looked up, starting to take aim.

"I really don't like having to use this technique, but if you're going to run you've left me with no other choice..." he said, closing his umbrella and taking aim. He hauled back his arm and threw it right at Leo.

"Secret Technique, Titanium Umbrella variation: One Thousand Years of Death!!!" he cried, releasing the weapon.

High above them, Leo felt something push through the seat of his pants and enter an area best left untouched by all things...

((Yep. xd But you have think... Gatz hasn't telegraphed a move like this before.))

Gatz smiled and made a yanking motionback towards himself with his hand.

"Hey, who said you could leave with my umbrella???" he shouted after the young man. The umbrella started returning to it's master...

(( blaugh And the rest just depends on how much of a tight-a** Leo is. xd

(( blaugh Be glad that's all he did. twisted I was thinking about having Gatz just force out all the chi in the umbrella, causing an explosion... gonk xd ))

Gatz gingerly took hold of the umbrella handle between two fingers. He looked up and beamed at Scorpio.

"Really? I haven't even started trying yet." His face fell a bit.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I need to find some bleach..."

He trotted out holding his umbrella away from his body.
