Isn't the Mongol Khanate just north of Ming? That'd take a lot of work to get the provinces required to form the Mughals.

The best way for the Mongol Khanate (in theory) to form the Mughals is through this process:
1. Tribal government reform. They should step out of being a horde.
2. Conquer the Oirats. That way, they can have access to the required provinces.
3. Conquer (and core) the required provinces.
4. Become the Mughals. That way, they can become Muslim tech immediately without going through the nomad tech-to-Muslim tech westernization.

I did some event editing, and I had put the Chinese version of the wokou raids in the HRE's event file. Now, if the Holy Roman Empire were to take the Chinese coast region, the kaiser can fire the wokou expedition event chain.

What does the event even do?
My game as Aragon is going well. I formed Spain and am the only one colonizing the New World. The cool thing about EUIV is there's a DLC that makes the New World completely random so I don't even know what to expect. whee

The event goes in 4 stages:
1. After Korea had killed off the wokou, the wokou would plague the Chinese Coast provinces.
2. China (either Ming or Manchu unmodded) would then try to raise coastal defenses.
3. Afterwards, China will mount an anti-wokou expedition.
4. Lastly, the wokou raids would end.
A random New World? It would be better than a semi-random Africa. surprised

Sounds pretty damn complex.
It makes it much more tricky trying to colonize since I have no clue where anything is. I've been trying to keep everyone else away, but Portugal snuck around me and nabbed a few provinces. Fortunately I have them in a PU so the provinces will be mine eventually.
