Opera isn't opera unless it's live and in Italian, French, Latin, whatever. As Noggin knows that I loved the movie. I still need to borrow it from him so I can copy it for myself or I'll just buy it one of these days. I need to get paid though. *sigh* Does anyone know of someone who needs a summer sitter? LOL

Mindicira NogginDew Mindicira Jalea It's not a problem with you crashing. It happens to the best of us. I just hope we didn't overstay our welcome. Not at all! ^.^ I loved having you guys over. You're fun to hang out with. I'm sorry about being a wet blanket there for a little bit. I just got kind of annoyed with people making fun of my most favorite musical. You might not like the singing and allt hat but I think it was done perfectly. sweatdrop I'm all for musicals hun....some of that movie was kind of....I dunno.....half assed in the music department. Other then that I enjoyed it. You also have to understand that I grew up watching Rogers & Hammersteins musicals...and The King and I is still my favorite. Not to mention I've been singing since I was three, been in choir through my school years and was even in one of the honors choirs in highschool. I do know music. Which was why I stated that opera sounds better in itallian. I don't care. Just because you're "educated" in music doesn't mean it's polite for you and your friend to basicly make fun of everything in the movie while other people are sitting there trying to watch. I don't care if it's not in a different language, and that it techinically isn't an opera, I don't care if the music isn't "up to par", I still like the movie and usually one doesn't interrupt other people's experience while watching the movie, even if they have seen it 50 million times. Excuse my french, but that's just ******** rude.

In fact if you don't remember about half way through the movie I vacated the room because I was on the phone. I did not say it was a bad movie...I just said there was some of it they could have done better. It is just a movie...and I believe you are getting too worked up over something that really has no impact on your daily life. sad

It is just a movie...and I believe you are getting too worked up over something that really has no impact on your daily life. sad People's manners continue beyond one movie. And it effects the people around you, everyday. The following statement is not made by me but by my friend my friend that was over that night:
Dear Sir, It has come to my attention that Mindicira and the audience that was present at the viewing of said movie has managed to fall within less then your good graces; ergo the emotive nature of your reaction whose contents included comments of an explitive nature is a natural reaction that one would expect from someone who has misinterpreted the interpretation of the audience of said film. Every man who goes to the theatre or views a theatrical work in their home of the homes of others is prone to if human, creating or developing a personal emotional attachment thereto. It is not a crime for an individual to gain such emotional connectivity or proclivity from any film irregardless of debasement or debauchery or musically induced exsanguination or to thee, as personally interpreted blissful nostalgia to which this anathema or interpreted dichotomy is of no purpose offensive and thus a matter of personal opinion. Thus, it could be said that the enjoyment of this film could most be derived from the enjoyment of your personal company to which, though new, was a fresh breath of air. As for myself, that being the person composing this letter though not typing it, I found the movie rather enjoyable, somewhat linguistically incomprehensible and even in its worst depth and moment still a musical worthy of using as referrence on many occasions. Thus, though I disagree with your personal preferrence in musicals I also disagree with Mindicira's taste in music and her response to your diatribe.
In conclusion, it was a most pleasant experience for all of us. It was a pity that you had to go through such suffering.
-Noire
Okay me again...I understood about half of that. eek

Gotten ahold of Slonny yet? I'm excited! We'll have to leave around 7ish. If not earlier. Just to be sure we get there in time.

Yes, I have gotten ahold of myself, and I'd only really like to go if I can drive...but that means gas, and I don't have a lot of it. Otherwise it's kind of a waste of a weekend for me. I dunno, it's a toss up. I also have to be at work at (which means getting up an hour prior to) 7 AM - which means bedtime by no later than midnight. We'll talk tomorrow...

My friend is offering gas money (or well he and I are splitting it) We just have to stop at Chevrons the entire way (stealing Papa's Chevron card). I don't care who's car we take so long as we can use CD's! Levi is a big music guy with random but interesting and fun music. I think that whoever gets better milage should take his car. My car is out of the running due to overheating.
