"Here you go" said Riku as he handed the bowl of cereal to him then he sat down on the edge of the bed with the oatmeal.

Yuki sat wuietly eating, thinking, What would happen if I asked? Especially so soon after the accident....

Riku thought he did pretty good with the oatmeal since it was thick enough just the way he like it.

Yuki finished eating and set the bowl on the nightstand closest to him. He thought how he could put it into words but found none.

Riku licked his bowl and spoon clean before standing up. He looked over at Yuki, "You look like you have a lot on your mind".

Riku nodded then picked up the other bowl from the nightstand then went to the kitchen to clean them out.

Yuki pondered some more on his thought, reaching between the matress and frame to pull out a tiny black box. He opened it and quietly gazed at the ring inside, thinking even more about what he should do.

Riku dried off his hands then he walked down the hall to go to the bathroom to use the toilet. After leaving the bathroom, he started walking back to bedroom to change into some clean clothes.

Yuki was lost in thought enough not to hear Riku coming down the hall and continued to gaze at the ring with the mind-bottling question.

Riku noticed Yuki was looking at a ring when he entered the room then he went over to the dresser. He took a one more glance at Yuki before looking into the dresser drawer he had opened.

Yuki closed the ring case when he finally noticed Riku entered the room. He flushed a deep shade of red.
