It's not so much a female AVATAR as it is... an avatar that's dressed as a girl. I'm only using one of those "I am" items.
WHAT?
Half my AVIs on gaia are female ^.^

Sorry, guys having female avatars is kinda weird... kinda like a girl having a guy avatar is kinda weird... at least to me.

Purple has some male AVIs and that doesn't include the veni-mule
I have 21 AVIs in total (though many don't get very much attention) And about half of them are female.
IMO, guys make female AVIs to have something to drool at while playing. It works better though if the game has better graphics like in a MMORPG (guild wars, for example)

Besides, online games never let you go that far.
How about buying figures and then trying to look up the figurines skirts?
