Yeah, sorry you had to go through all of that, but I'm glad it's over.
I forgot to mention that I'll be driving this, and the next 2 weekends on "vacation".

Yeah, though I've nailed the 12 hours of actual work I had to do in the 1st 2 work days of vacation, so at least that's over.

He was to video games what Jimi Hendrix was to rock. Not somebody I particularly revered, but deeply respect for the contribution his life has made to his craft. A craft I continue to enjoy.

such is honest. I cannot claim I was a fan of the man, or a fervent fan of his work. And yet, I can respect his contributions to the franchise. His face was known, as was his general presence. Perhaps that is far more telling than a fan would be. Even a pleb like me knows him, meaning he had fame beyond his little circle of business.

Then rest, good sir. I will be feeling that pinch soon. In two days, I will be travelling for a "weekend" in New York City. We arrive on the 21st, spend the 22nd and 23rd there, then return on the 24th.
