You get as many playing cards as there are people playing. You make sure one card is the Joker/Jack and one card is an Ace. Pass a card out to everyone playing, and make sure no one knows who has what card. This is very important. Everyone is then asked to close their eyes. The host of the game then asks the Joker to raise his or her hand. The Joker is the assassin. The joker puts the hand down. Then the host asks for the Ace to raise their hand. The Ace is the cop/detective/etc.. The Joker is then asked to point as someone. That person is now dead and out of play. Everyone is then asked to open their eyes. The death is announced. Everyone is allowed to discuss who they think the killer is. The Ace/cop ultimately decides who they think the killer is and convicts someone when everyone is asked to close their eyes again. If they are the assassin, the game is over and the players win. If it isn't the assassin, then the assumed player is out of play like a killed victim. Everyone closes their eyes again, and the assassin is asked to determine their next victim. If the cop is killed, then the regular players take a majority vote as to who they think it is and that person is taken out of play if they are innocent. Eventually the assassin is caught and players win, or the assassin takes out everyone except for one regular player. Rules can vary but that is the jist of it

Scavenger hunt might be fun too. What is the event for? A random birthday or party?

Already planning a scavenger hunt for possible choice.
It's simply a youth activity for the church I go to (Which means kissing games will probably be disapproved of. XD). The two adults in charge of doing this never plan anything, so I suggested to let myself and a few friends plan since they weren't and I was getting tired of it. They said yes, I just have to run final ideas by them when we're done.

Now to see what's so epic.
