Wise to her plot, he wouldn't move closer just yet. His hand over the barrel of her gun. Moving it so it was pointed away, he started to lean his head forward, his eye watching her as his lips went for hers.

Turning her head away, she fought to right the gun.. She wouldn't.. She couldn't! Not one of them!

His lips meeting the soft skin of her cheek, he didn't mind, he simply isssed there instead. His hand working on keeping the gun at bay as he loved her beautiful visage.

"I would leand you some assistance to your hostile prey," Mina metally whispered to Damien, "but it is far more interesting to watch." Watching the human's attempts against him she smiled. Damien kissed her on the check and she began to feel happy for him. Maybe, just maybe he could get her.

Feeling those walls she'd built up sway slightly, she wrinkled her nose. No. No no no no no. Not now, not ever.. Using her free hand to slip under her coat, she brought out a silver knife and held it to his throat.. Her other hand wrapped around her gun.

A little startled by the voice in his head, he'd stopped, flinching slightly as the knife rest against his throat. Simply watching her, he didn't move, his breathing slightly less calm than it had been.

Mina watched as the mortal woman drew a knife to Damien's throat. "Assistance?"Mina questioned again as she became more alert of the whole situation.

Planting one last soft kiss on her beautiful cheek, he slowly backed off, obviously a little shaken.. Backing up slowly, his eye didn't leave her. Not tongiht, so it seemed. But he'd have her.. He would.

Taking her leave, she got out of sight.. And ran. She needed to go home.. Well. To her newly made home, anyway.. Making sure her gun was away and her knife was in its sheath, she vanished into the crowds of the city.

Mina leaped from the trees to stand on the steps of the monument and looked to Damien. "And what now? Why not follow her?" Mina said to the demon.

As she adjusted her leather duster she walked down to Damien. "So what now?" Mina asked as she walked to his side facing away from him. She placed her hand on his shoulder and looked to his face. She noticed that he was more handsome in person.

His eye fixed on the ground beside him, he didn't flinch under her touch. Something about that blonde was growing on him... He couldn't understand it.
