Rufus Arched an eyebrow up at the Turk standing next to him.
"You see what I have to put up with?" He asked, shaking his head.

He was of course refuring to Reno getting Shot, Jade not wanting to leave Reno to the medical attention he needed and in the end Rufus had just given up, letting the two what they deemed fit.

"Hey!" Jade protested, shooting a mock glare at Reno with the loss of one of his precious pieces of fruit. "Who said anything about we? I was planning on making myself a milkshake." As he spoke, he scooped all the fruit in a possessive pile, well away from the red-headed Turk before he continued to cut them into slices.

"And I'm cutting them so they'll blend more smoothly," he explained. "I don't like chunks of fruit in my shakes." Spoiled though the boy was, at least he seemed to know how to make a decent drink.

"You're always sending me on a guilt trip, aren't you?" Jade said scooping a generous amount of icecream which looked as if it could serve even more than two into the blender, followed closely by the fruit. He knew Reno was the only Turk he saw and would probably ever see pout. And it was just too cute, he couldn't pass up the opportunity to just watch him for a moment.

"Fine.. If you clean this mess up," he proposed, motioning to the banana peels, strawberry stems, and still opened carton of icecream, "then you can have some." An easy way to get out of having to clean something, he thought.

Reno pouted some more, shaking his head.
"No." He said in a defiant somewhat childish voice, glancing over a defiant shoulder at Jade with a playfull smirk.
"I'll make my own, and it will be better then yours." Reno protested and stuck his tongue out.
He really was hungry, his tomach growled again.

Nodding, he would take his lover by the hand and would lead him down through the halls and then finally made it to the courtyard.. the roof was not as attractive as the court was so this would be a good place to be.

Jade clutched the cold icecream carton closer to his chest before giving his body an obviously fake shiver. "Ooo, you've got me trembling in my sneakers," he replied, letting one finger dip into the box before licking the icecream residue from his finger.

"Puh-lease, Red," he said, grinning at him. "You couldn't lay a harmful finger on me even if you wanted to." Of course, that could have always been his 'Nothing could ever happen to me' spoiled teenager attitude talking. "You like me way too much."

Jade, as if some easily distracted cat, watched the waving spoon warily, pressing his back into the counter. He knew Reno would never do anything bad to him, but the young Shinra could never make predictions of the Turks moves.

His eyes moved away from the icecream scooper only in time enough to see the other's victorious smirk and that's what told him he was in trouble. But he was too late to do anything about it. The towel connected sharply with his leg and he felt the sting through his pants. Nothing seriously painful. It was more of the shock of surprise that had him gasping.

"Ow! Hey!!" he squeaked, backing away from Reno to avoid. "Unfair, Red." His eyes darted around wildly as if to try to find some weapon of his own. But unless he wanted to grab one of the butchers knives and risk actually hurting his friend, he was out of luck because Reno blocked the way to the other towels. But that's when he spotted something.. The best something he could reach, that is.

Jade grabbed a spatula from a rack and pointed it at Reno as if holding him at swordpoint while using the other hand to protect the icecream. "Persist if you dare!"
