Blaine loked at the door and walked over to it. He opened the door to see another boy. "Um hello", Blaine said softly, with a tilt in his head, showing a question.

Near looked up at the guy and tilted his head as well. "I was adopted..."

Farres walked towards the child and knelt down to his level with a smile. "Hello there." He greeted softly with a gentle pet on his head.

Near looked up at Farres. "Hello... I'm Near..." He said, placing his thumb in his mouth.

Farres called for a maid as he stood up. The maid arrived to them with a cotton blanket and draped it over Near's shoulders. Another butler asked for Near if he could bring his stuff in his room. "I'm glad you came, Near." Farres smiled and held his hand.

Near handed his bag to the butler. His small fingers grabbing Farres large index finger.

The butler bowed and took his stuff into his new room. Farres sat down on the sofa and lifted him up onto his lap carefully.

Near leaned back so he was leaning against Farres chest. This was very comfortable.

Near tilted his head at Blaine, copying him. He dug in his pocket and pulled out a finger puppet.

Farres saw the two copying each other's confusion and laughed lightly. He gently hugged Near like a small teddy bear. "You two are so adorable." Farres smiled.

Near kept playing with his finger puppet, making it move and wiggle.

"Father new you couldn't bear me an heir, so he adopted one and gave the child to me." Farres explained, kissing his stepson's head lightly.

Blaine nodded, understanding, but also felt sad, becuase he wouldn't get to be with Farres alone as much.
