Cal had known that was coming. He had taken that choice...But when she attacked like that, his instincts kicked in. His throat ripped, and he could feel the blood. It healed and she did it again though. Cal's mind raced with how he could get her off...She was stronger than him, which was odd to say, but it was true. he was a half demon, a young one at that, and she was a vampire. An older one...Cal closed his eyes, leaning forward and sinking his teeth into Hecate's neck...He knew she would snap out of it then, she would know what had just happened...

Emute's mouth dropped. She backed up. "******** english vampire...Good day.." she said backing into a tree.

She pulled back the instant he bit her. Her senses came back as she got her fill of blood. "Why did you do that Cal?" She stared at him worried. As her heart sped up the poison took affect faster. Hecate ran to nearby bushes and fell to her knees. She threw up the blood she had drank, her body rejecting it.

Cal didn't answer, just leaning back against the tree. He raised a finger to his lips..he could taste her blood...and the poison in it..He hadn't really drank her blood long enough to get much though..Cal licked his lips, feeling odd all of a sudden...He didnt move, just watching the spot were Hecate had ran off too...What did I just do? Cal asked himself..But he didnt feel different...Not dead at least. His heart was still beating...

Emute laughed. "Aww that poison not taste good hunn? I'm sorry, you'll live, for now. You have an hour to get it all out of your system. Good day vampire peice's of s**t." She yelled and jumped into a tree.

Hecate was panting hard and her mind raced. So many things had gone wrong. She pulled herself up from the ground and went over to Cal. "What did you just do Cal? You didn't swallow did you?" She hit him on the chest in frustration. "You idiot..." She cried tears of frustration not knowing what else to do.

Cal licked his lips.."I'm fine.."all the blood was gone now...He didn't say anything else, just wrapped his arms around her...He was sorry..."I shouldnt've done that Hecate...."He said, knowing that she was frustrated...Cal was confused. He had bitten her...But his heart was beating faster now...it was still beating in the first place....

She hugged him back tightly. Her concern for him grew. Most of her burn marks were now healing from the blood she had just drank, but her clothes and hair were still burned. None of that mattered now she had other things to worry about besides her appearance. "Are you feeling okay Cal?" Since he was a half demon she wasn't sure what kind of affect her blood would have on him.

Cal nodded, slowly almost "Yeah..Im perfectly fine.". He felt groggy...The sun was still out though..He stood, almost falling over.."Come on...let's find a safer place.."he said, still feeling odd...He saw that most of her shirt was burned off, and her skirt quiiitee short...He slipped off his coat, though he knew no one was around and handed it to her...Cal was starting to be a little creeped out..His heart was beating at too fast a rate for someone who was supposed to be dead or half-dead by now...

She gave him a warm smile back as he handed her his coat. she put it on and it covered although it was a little big. It still made her happy having something of his. After a while she could definately hear his heartbeat growing louder. "Are you sure you are okay Cal?" She caught up to him and laced fingers with him.

"Maybe we should stop for a minute." She looked him up and down trying to see anything different about him. "You don't look like a vampire..." Her hand touched his chest over his heart. "You're not nervous are you? I hope this didn't happen when you bit me." her eyes looked in his for answers.

Cal stopped, just letting her look him over and think about it. He let himself a regular thought; she looked funny in his coat. "Why would I be nervous Hecate?" Cal asked, his voice serious. "Why, do you know what just happened?" He asked, not waiting for an answer and just continuing to walk. He dodged a couple patches of sunlight, still warry of them. He knew she would catch up.

She watched him as he dodged the sunlight. An idea quickly formed. She laughed a bit. It wouldn't hurt him too bad but she just wanted to see if he was a vampire yet. She grabbed his arm and suddenly pushed him into an open area where the sun beat down on.

Cal turned to hecate, turning to look at her in the patch of sunlight. "What the hell was that for? What if that actually burned me?! I could've died Hecate!"He said, his anger sparking up. Then Cal stopped, feeling puzzled for a second...This didn't hurt..Cal looked at his hands, seeing they werent affected by sunlight for the first time in a loong time.."That's interesting.."Cal said, looking up at Hecate. Damn this sucks, he thought..
