Eric leaned heavily on Dara and Michi as they helped him to his feet. "Dara...?" He said, trying to see her through his blurry vision. "You came..." He reached a hand out to her. "I'm sorry...this....I should have seen this coming....we'd been told about it for crying out loud..." He shook his head slowly. "This is my fault. It's my responsibility to stop him..." Meanwhile, Texas slowly got to his feet. "I know what we're gonna do!" He said angrily, feeling the back of his neck where Harold had knocked him out. "We're gonna beat the crap out of that jerk and tie him to a fence post!" He looked towards the pool of red liquid. "I should just start shootin' flames down there right now!" He turned his arm into a flamethrower and walked to the edge of the pool, pointing it down into the red morass.
Dara smiled at Eric and took his hand and put it over her shoulder while still holding it. "Yeah, I came. What makes you think I wouldn't? And hey! None of this is your fault. Harold just felt like it was his chance and time to finally have his own body. So no blaming yourself. And Texas stop that right now! We are not going to tie him to a fence post, we are going to tie him to a flag pole but we are not frying him to a crisp either."

Eric shook his head. "Be careful....there's something different about him this time," he said as he allowed Dara to sling him over her shoulder. "I don't know what happened in there but I know he's changed. I could feel it. Be ready for anything. And Dara..." He turned and leaned to the side, kissing her on the cheek. "Thanks," he whispered. Texas turned his head and looked back at them, his arm still a flamethrower as he stood at the edge of the pool. "And why shouldn't we?" He asked as he glared at them.

Ina simply watched everything that was going on and looked over at Texas and Eric with a friendly smile as she stood there nervously. "Sleep does sound nice." She said in a shy tone as she stood there not sure what to do.
As they all entered the room, the first thing Atticus did was run over to Mirai, placing his arms around her. He was happy that she was safe and unharmed, "Mirai." he muttered. However, once Emma mentioned Harold inside of the pool, Atticus' anger came back. Letting go of Mirai, Atticus stood up and faced the pool, it was clear he was going to face him. "Family? You still consider that beast a part of your family?" he asked Dara, "You are just making excuses for the fool, Texas has the right idea, we will end that mutt's life here and now." It was clear, Atticus was not going anywhere, he intended to face Harold once more, but this time no one was going to interfere and stop them, he was going to kill him.
◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆ ••• "You pulled off actions similar to Harold's in the past, Atticus." Shira told him "And yet Eric or anyone else here didn't decide to kill you. No one was hurt in this, so let's keep it that way." Mirai managed to snap out of it enough to watch Atticus and Texas make threats about killing Harold. "Yeah... we don't need to take the violent way out of this." she told both of them "Or else the things from the future may end up happening or worse. I don't want anyone dying." she said before walking over to Texas and aiming to pull him away from the pool. Dara smiled as Eric kissed her cheek. She gave him a side hug before hearing Atticus's words. "Why do you insist on killing him?! He hasn't killed anyone, so why should we kill him? My dad still thinks of his clan as his family even after everything that happened. You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family."

☽ Emma couldn't help but smile when watching Dara and Eric before she heard Atticus and Texas and looked towards them "Um... if you are that mad at him, you can take it out on me instead. It seems a lot of these actions must have started when I arrived here, correct? I will take his punishment then since I am at fault." she told him before unhooking her belt with her dagger and knives in it and letting it fall on the ground.☾
"And she speaks." Atticus said, referring to Shira. "Must you continue to bring up my own past. I've done many things to atone for them and even tried to take my own life to do so. I've paid for my mistakes and now he should as well." Atticus then watched as Mirai came over to Texas and also glance at him. He did not say anything to her words, he no longer felt like talking, he needed to kill. As this urge overcame him, Emma would speak up at the right time, offering up herself in exchange for Harold. "If that is what you wish, then I will be happy to oblige you." Atticus said as he turned his blade towards Emma, "Things would have been better if you never came here." he muttered, saying something so awful to her.

You should give it to Harold as well." she told him before freezing as Emma decided to put the blame on herself and Atticus seemed to want to go through with it. Ina looked over at Atticus and had finally had enough, electricity was emanating from her hand. "Mr. Atticus throughout this whole mission I have contemplated on whether I should just knock you out and carry you with us but seeing as we are done that option is something I am willing to do." She said in a serious tone.
"You say you gave me a chance, but I recall, deciding to atone for myself not for any of you, but Harold is different." Atticus looked towards the pool, anticipating the beast's appearance. "He is nothing but a mass of madness, a kishin through and through. Have you not learned from out past failures with the Blackwings? Divine? Sanctum? Are you not tired of losing to beings like them, like Harold?" he asked her, before turning back to Shira as she snapped at him. "Enough of your words. I am tired of holding back myself and having a moral code just to please you. We are no longer together, I no longer have to restrain myself." Atticus then looked at Emma, "Besides, she volunteered herself to die. All I am doing is aiding her." Hearing Michi's partner speak, Atticus laughed, "Woman, you have no idea who you are picking a fight with, so I recommend that you remain quiet and continue hiding behind your meister."
☽What the hell kind of drama did I land in? Emma stayed silent as she watched Atticus and frowned slightly "Tu es completement débile..." She muttered under her breath "If killing me stops you from being such a selfish jerk who only cares about killing and insulting his friends then go ahead. Just knock it off and go home once you are done spilling my blood." she said. "Also I should recommend therapy as well... you look like the type who needs that." she said.
Mirai continued watching with a worried expression "Big brother... you really do need to stop..." she told him as she walked over to him and pulled his arm. " ☾
