l337squerrel Im a bit annoyed that Liani is part of the Zomg elite.... But unlike other members, she doesnt seem so stuck up like them. Also her art is pretty good. I hardly have any time to play zOMG anyway... The last time I went onto it was like 2 months ago O.O
And in the invitation thing, they were like: "We've seen you around Gaia and you're a very cool person" and I was like: "OMG stalkers!"
@ Torsin: Very nice~ The body is a bit lop-sided, and he doesn't seem to have a hand (-? either way his arm is too short). And I am hoping that you're going to shade later ^.^
@ Zaine: Interesting concepts! In my imagination, my zanpaktou is no-where near as fancy... And I haven't got the slightest idea what my Bankai is going to be. Might I suggest you look at some other sketches of swords on deviantART, and take some shading tips from there? I can't really say much because me+sword drawing= FAIL, but I can see that they look a bit two-dimensional at the moment ^.^

Art Shop is denied. Don't have a reliable scanner. At least for now.

but your art is brilliant. It's such a shame that you can't share it with us all on a regular basis.
On that note can you point me to all your other works?

Go to DeviantArtMost of the crap I have is old, because I haven't had a scanner for ages and haven't had much of an urge to draw.

For a moment there I thought it was just a face till I scrolled down...
I'll go from top to bottom. I'm just going to assume its a sketch from the way it looks.
Its clearly disproportionate. the body doesn't really fit the head and it just seemed like you wanted to fill the paper. For those type of things its best to do a ref sheet of sorts. that'll make things a bit more organized since you'll be putting several things on paper.
The face also seemed needlessly tilted, mainly because the expression the eyes give off. Typically when giving that sort of expression you wouldn't tilt your head.
Because of the thickness of the lashes, I'm assuming its a girl. Which also reminds me about the eyes. Because of the position of the face (which is tilted but also looks like its pointing downward a bit), you would draw things a bit differently. It looks like you draw the eyes in two separate ways, and in this position, you'd go with how the right way is drawn, because of the angle. Also, you would see more of the nose. Since you drew it in a simple style, a soft, slightly angled arch/triangle will do. That will also lead to the lips. Since it doesn't have shadows or anything, you wouldn't have to worry too much about the top lip showing. It just a needless line for lineart. you mainly want to show the line thats created when the lips are pressed together and a line for the bottom lip (because the bottom lip hangs out a little).
It also seems like you're going for strictly anime, so I won't stress about face structure.
Because of the size of the body, only about roughly half of the neck you drew would actually be shown. You don't typically see that of a neck unless you them from the side or behind (if they have short hair).
I'll leave the body alone for now because I'm not too sure what you're trying to go for.
If you need like some quick refs or whatever, let me know. Since I'm off work tomorrow, I got some time to help out

Awesome. I'll try applying all of this in another drawing.
Also it's a hermaphrodite.

Its best if you have a reference of some sort to go by...
Though I'm not sure it'd help much.
