Ake kept walking, to see that she's not really getting anywhere. 'I think I'll go back...' Ake thought, and walked back towards the gate.

dEx suddenly woke with a start. She felt weird and then she remembered being hit with some kind of high speed projectile and difting away from her body. As she looked around it sunk in that she had died. Then she got up and took in the odd surroundings and soon she heard something behind her. She turned and saw Shadow standing there behind her looking a bit confused, but happy to see her.

"Oh no Shadow, not you too." she said as she walked over to hug the black dog. Even though she was sad that he had died also she was glad that were together. She looked around and saw someone running at them. She quickly realized it wasn't someone greeting them, but Orochimaru trying to attack them. dEx grabbed Shadow and dodged out of the way as he shot a blast of wind at them.

She put Shadow down on his feet and she formed the tiger seals. "Beast Man Clone." she said as Shadow transformed into a copy of her. Then the two growled at Orochimaru. "Dual Piercing Fang!" they called out as the two dExs began to spin towards Orchimaru. As they got close they saw snakes come out of his mouth and knocked them away to the ground, which surprised dEx.

"Such a shame. I thought you nin dog users were supposed to be tough." said Orochimaru as he laughed at her. dEx and Shadow both jumped to their feet and stared at the snake user. dEx motioned to Shadow to attack him and she watched Orochimaru closely. He formed a short set of hand seals and dEx just managed to make them out. "Great Breakthrough." he called out as Shadow dodged the oncoming wind blast.

dEx hoped that she saw the hand seals correctly. If he thought she was so weak, she wondered what he would do if she used his own technique against him. She quickly formed the hand seals that she thought he had used. "Great Breakthrough!" she called out as she brought her fingers to her mouth to direct the wind into a smaller and stronger gust. Orochimaru turned around and looked at her and the oncoming wind blast with wide eyes.

Orochimaru managed to get out of the way of the attack, but barely. "How did you?" he asked. "Maybe I'm not as weak as you think." said dEx as Shadow came over and stood at her side still transformed to look like her. "Maybe not, but you didn't quite perform it correctly." said Orochimaru. He took a few steps closer to dEx and Shadow as they stayed on their guard not knowing what he might do next

"The trick is not only to focus the wind to make it powerful, but also to have it be more widespread. This way it can cause more damage to the area and be more likely to hit the target." explained Orochimaru. dEx was a bit taken aback that he was telling her how to perform the technique. "Okay, thanks. Why are you helping me?" she asked a bit untrusting. "You seem to be seeking power and I can help you with that." he replied with an evil smile.

dEx didn't really like the sound of that and knew that he would probably be looking for something in return, but then again if she just tried to walk away he'd probably attack her as well. Maybe it would be best to kind of play along for now and get some training out of this. The first chance she got she would get out of here and try to find someone friendlier and maybe even someone she already knew.

"Give it another try." suggested Orochimaru. dEx nodded as she focused her chakra. She formed the hand seals quickly and brought her hand to her mouth. "Great Breakthrough." she said. This time she blew out a much larger gust that seemed to be even stronger than the last. "Much better." said Orochimaru with a nod. "Let's move on to the more interesting techniques." said Orochimaru as he grinned at dEx sending shivers down her spine, or whatever the equivalent was in the afterlife.

"Do you know how to do this?" asked Orochimaru. dEx watched as Orochimaru formed a set of hand seals. "Hidden Snake Hands." said Orochimaru. Then dEx watched as several snakes came out of his mouth. It was very much like the technique she had seen Anko use, except that Anko had them come out of her sleeve. The snakes disappeared back into Orochimaru's mouth and he smiled at dEx.

Again his smile was cold and didn't do much to make dEx trust him. "This technique allows you to create snakes that come out of your mouth and can be used to strike and possibly hold your opponent." explained Orochimaru. dEx stared at Orochimaru and wondered if it was worth learning technique from then. As she thought about how much stronger her friends had become it might be the only way to get strong enough to ever be able to face them successfully.

She had a suspicion that the Hokages might be able to help her and Shadow regain their lives so that they can help take care of things back home. "I have seen a variation of that technique, but I don't know how to perform it." she replied. Orochimaru seemed pleased that she was receptive to learning more techniques from him. "First you need to learn these hand seals." said Orochimaru.

He proceeded to slowly go through a combination of hand seals. dEx watched the seals and worked to memorize them. Soon she thought that she had the seals down and she nodded to Orochimaru. "Next you just focus your chakra and it may help to concentrate on snakes in your mind to help you create them. Then once you form the snakes they are easy to control." explained Orochimaru.

dEx nodded to him as she began to focus on her chakra. Then she thought about forming the snakes as she began to form the hand seals. "Hidden Snake Hands." she said as she formed the last seal. She could feel something form in her mouth and a single snake came out of her mouth. dEx looked a bit disapointed since she was trying to get three or four snakes instead a single one like she had created.
