Call it extreme, but honestly, unless they were drunk or high or otherwise in an un-normal mental state, they probably do not contain the capacity to function in society correctly. Also, they have emotionally scarred people FOR LIFE and most likely cannot be redeemed. Some might, but there are always outliers. However, not enough.
Less extreme, one strike, then if they do it again, i would say to lock them away. They had their chance to not fricken rape someone.
Unless they turn themselves in [i saw an episode of someone who did], most are probably uncapable of feeling remorse for their CRIME. A criminal who doesn't turn themselves in [unless they got arrested before they were sober or in a functioning mental state/was arrested before he could turn himself in] is most likely not remorseful for the crime, rather remorseful for getting caught. Ranging from physical abusers to thieves to Bernie Madolf. Most don't regret the crime. They regret getting caught, or else why would they do it?
Being drunk counts less, but it still should have repercussions. In a drunken or high state [which they probably should still get punished for taking illegal drugs] people don't show their true stripes, rather impaired judgement to those that are out of their minds. So, still punished, but not as much as if they were sober, where they know the repercussions, yet choose to ignore themDamn I just ranted I hope i don't get into trouble I thought I was the only one. @.@ Make a real consequence for it. Discourage it by slaughter. But, then again, that could be.... Evil. @.@ I still don't think drunk/high people should face the most severe punishment Granted, they drank too much on their own accord, but if both participants were drunk [or even one] there's impaired mental capability, thus making less likely that they are actually truly this way, rather just impaired of judgement.

The best is far more complicated. confused Well A lot of foods have wine in it, so that wouldn't be good Also, wine IS good for you Also, if you drink too much, your body says, "SCREW YOU" and shuts down So yeah Div, I know many people disagree But i don't think genocide of heinous isn't as bad as the slaughtering of the jews
Granted, it's killing great amounts of people
BUT
1. The jews were [mostly, some may have commited bad crimes, but that doesn't matter] innocent
2. Rapists... Well in their very NAME have commited crimes
3. Rapists have destroyed the lives of everyone they've raped
4. Killing all the Jews doesn't have any purpose, nothing good is gained besides angry people, a loss of religion [which, i don't actually think is THAT bad, but just not in this way] and the death of many productive people
5. Conversely, killing rapists will make people so fearful, that they will be fearful to have sex without consent. In places like Africa, people will ifnally be able to walk the streets without having to use Rapex, and stop generally living in fear
6. Rape is a weapon of war. Rape the family, and you demoralize the people. Having Jewish people? Unless you're a radical person [much like the out-of-their-mind muslims] having Jewish people is something inconsecuential
7. Most importantly, killing of rapists is NONDISCIMINATORY.... besides to criminals. A sweep would kill people of all races, all ages, [mostly male though, because let's face it guys, most of us are bitches] and many backgrounds.
However, i do fear that a harsh punishment could be abused by angry ex girlfriends...
[boyfriends, not so much, you don't hear much about girls raping guys]
[unless they're accusing a different person of rape because of adultery, but that's a WHOLE DIFFERENT TOPIC]

You still gotta remember that a lot of things produce alcohol, albeit most not enough to get you drunk Also, wine is good for you If it was like a certain amount, then probably yes But any amount? That's just absurd Of course, you could then murder by making people drink too much alcohol But that's only because humans are freaking bastards

They'd eventually find that the drunkness isn't going away, and that there's a horrible sickness that's getting worse with every drink. I'd be amused to hear the news if such a thing infected everyone on earth suddenly one day. Very amused.
