Oh, and going back to earlier comment about the gay marriage thing. There are many Christians who don't necessarily listen to everything the bible says. It doesn't make them less Christian because they'll still follow the 10 Commandments, it's just the fact that the Bible was written by man with no help from their God or Jesus, and as we all know *clears throat* "MAN IS THE SPAWN OF ALLL EVIL!"

And if you read that in a very gospel sort of way, that's how I said it in my head. xD

I know not all Christians follow every part of the bible.

The bible, is based off of verbal stories that were passed around for a couple hundred years, until the Council of Nicaea got together and forced that stuff into a book. Cutting out all the stuff that they didn't agree with in certain stories. Making one supreme doctrine.

That being said. The entire New Testament is the word of man. Men who all got together and made decisions. Blah blah blah....

But it is the old testament that is in question here. Though the new testament to Christians super-cedes the old... The old is older, and typically is considered the word of god.....

This is what the Jews, Muslims, and Christians all have in common.

Leviticus 20:13

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

That is a plain as day....

If it is supposed to be the word of god, then it should all be....

if it is the word of man(which it is) it should be thrown away with the rest of garbage....

I say it is or it isn't thats it.

Historians say Jesus probably didn't even exist, so faith is out on a limb here. It is the word of man, but it is the word of god through man. And the bible is just plain creepy......

Nobody could survive very well in this world following everything the bible says... I just believe in devoting oneself to what one claims to be.
