"Alright. Kevin." Lori wasn't offended by the kid pulling out his game. He was Unseelie. It was lucky he hadn't smashed anything yet. "Any preference for a last name or should I just slap something down? Do you have a country you like? Anything?" They didn't often get entities with no name at all, and when they did said entities rarely wanted to integrate.

"Just do whatever," the kelpie--Kevin, shrugged. "I've never needed a last name. What use is one?" He paused. "I've never been to any other countries. And I don't like this one much."

Lori nodded. Kevin Addison. It had a ring to it. "You need one for your identity is all. Do you remember what time of year you appeared?" It was going to be a blind guess as to what month or date, but a proper season would be nice.

"Summer," Kevin said. He shut his 3ds, put it away and leaned forward. "I haven't been around very long," he said, then, and hesitated, "But I don't know how long. Time's hard."

"That's fine," Lori said, typing in more information, "We usually just go by how old people look within the realm of humanity, so you'll be... we'll say sixteen. That way you can learn to drive whenever you get out of here. So your birthday'll be...uhhh..." He thought a moment, palms upturning. "July twenty-third. You're a millennial." He made a bit of a face and itches his growing stubble.
"That's all we need to start with. I'll just send this in with your physical details and they can work on it. The phone will probably come before the ID."

"I'd like a phone, it'd be fun. I heard there's all sorts of games and stuff you can put on them." He didn't have anyone he'd really want to call. He didn't like the agents that'd driven him places, and he didn't know any here; except Agent Werewolf, but he seemed too busy.
"So are you going to tell Agent Werewolf to come back now?"

"Mmhm. More boring stuff next time, unfortunately," Lori said. He picked up the phone and dialed three numbers. He got Toby in moments.
"Ready?" Toby asked.
"Ready."
"Alright, I'll be right up."
"Yup."
That was all. "He's coming," Lori said. "If you like games, you should talk to his partner. ...in the realm of unpronounceable names, he beats me tenfold."
Toby arrived in short time and smiled to the kelpie. "We've got your room all ready if you want to come with me."
Dari was there behind him, adjusting the cuff of his suit.

The kelpie was visibly happier once Toby arrived. He smiled. "Alright," he said. "I've never had my own place before. Well, besides the lake." He stood. "Are you his partner?" he asked Dari, and then paused, seeming to recognize him. "You're the guy from the lake!"

"It's basically the same, but within four walls and without the water," Toby said with a smile.
"I am," Dari said, "Agent Cnidaria."
Lori motioned to him. "See?"
"Dari is fine too," Dari amended.

"Hi Dari," Kevin said. "Lori told me you have an impossible name, but I think his is even worse." He made a face, then turned back to smirk at the elf. "My name's easy. I'm Kevin. Let's go see my new place. Then I get a phone! Lori says you like games. Want to see mine?"

Lori rolled his eyes and shook his head, but he was smiling.
"Kevin, eh? Kevin the Kelpie," Toby said, "Huh." Lori just shrugged. The kid had picked it himself!
"Your games? Sure," Dari replied, although he was slightly overwhelmed by the onslaught of 'conversation.' "Come on." The trio headed off and Lori gave them a wave as they left.

Kevin pulled out his 3ds and offered it to Dari. "See? It's cool. You get to kill all these people." He followed the two agents. "Will I still get to see you while I live here?" He asked. "What's your first name, Agent Werewolf?"

Dari opened the DS with familiarity, and then popped out the game cartridge to get a look. Sure. Killing people, and things. That was most games. They tried to avoid those with Maia.
"You will from time to time," Toby said. "Mostly you'll be working with Lori and Dari, though. I'm Tobias. 'Toby' is fine." And just like that they were all on a first-name basis.

"Right. Top agent, busy busy. Do you get to blow things up often? I saw a movie about secret agents and he had this really cool car, and everything blew up." And plenty of people died, and besides, things had blown up.
"We could play sometime," He invited Dari. "Look, my character's got the best items," he popped the cartage back in and opened the game from the menu.

"No, not often," Toby admitted, "My car is pretty cool, though."
Dari nodded and leaned over to look at the game save file. "Oh, there's actually a secret set of armor. You can get it without much grinding."
They continued through to the invisible hall. "Alright, so this is cloaked. They can't see us from the outside, and we can see them from the inside, but that's the apartment building." Toby gestured toward the structure before them. "It's also cloaked, as is the yard. If you run hard enough at the barrier you could probably knock yourself out." He was pretty sure nobody was listening to him anyway.
