'Kai' blinks, looking up to see Katrina. Calling her mother and such. "Ahh...what a beautiful girl..." She said with a small smile as she reached out her hand to ruffle Katrina's hair. She will be one of the first to join me..hah! Suddenly she jerks back her arm in pain, still very weak. "Where is your father with that healer?" She complained with an annoyed tone, grunting as she puts her arm at her side.

Katrina laughed At her mother actions Wow she's acting weird "Wow Mom you Must be sick forgetting Im a Healer! im the top of my class So what do you need fixed?" Katrina said putting her healing gloves on Katrina smiled and waited for her mother's reply

'Kai' chuckled,"But of course your a healer, that's all women are allowed to do these days. We will rise soon enough though.." She said the last statement a bit quietly then the last. Looking back to Katrina as she noted the gloves. When did we use those? She thought confusedly, then closed her eyes with a sigh. "You may help if you like, in order for me to even stand would need two healers anyways..."

Katrina snorted "Whats wrong with you Mom your usally so laid back and fun Now your so Strict and rules.." Katrina said looking worried "Well i can at least take the pain away and she finished under 5 minutes "and Mom i forgot to tell you im a fighter now...If you didn't know already dad says they can learn but won't be sent to war.."

'Kai' groaned,"Am I not in bed?" Hating how the girl was being so disrespectful. Guess your father's slashes wasn't enough to teach you sweet Kai.. She rolled her eyes then glanced up to overheard how he had approved some freedom. "War? If it came to that, I would show 'em a thing or two." She gloated with a proud laugh.

Juniperus turned around and looked, "Oh, okay...That'd be my mom. Hold on." He walked away from the doorway and spoke to his mother who was in the kitchen cooking. "Mom, someone is at the door for you." He said smiling. If he would've said the chief specifically, she would of never believed him.

Pat turned her pot without looking away at Juniperus, "Okay, I'll be there in a sec." She finished stirring the pot and walked to the door way looking down to watch her step. Once she reached the doorway her face lit up, having the same reaction as Juniperus.

Katrina got a startled look on her face "Mom i thought you knew? But not to be disrespectful or anything but Your acting really weird/different" Katrina stood up and took her gloves off Glancing over at her mother's flute case being empty "where is your flute its not in the case.."

'Kai' blinks up at the girl, seeing her notice the case. She sighed, knowing how Kai would react and had a story to tell. "I'm sorry my daughter...later a few nights ago...someone had robbed me of my flute. That flute was my treasure...the only thing left of my mother.." She said holding her head as she sat at the edge of the bed. Perfect! She mentally smirked in accomplishment.

Katrina looked kinda of sad she used to play that flute when she was little she was gonna miss it she turned to her mother "Mom what was Grandmother like?"

'Kai' smiled, putting her arm over the girl's shoulder. "Your grandmother was a fine woman! Sailing through the seas, conquering pirates, going past the walls of Ba Sing Se, defeating the deadly bounty hunters, and each night eating like a king!" She bragged as she then stood demonstrating a few moves as if she was fighting on the spot. Just then her body froze, staggering as she leaned against the dresser. "Right...sick..." She grumbled slowly going back to bed.

Katrina smiled on how cool her grandmother was she turned to her mom "Mom do you think Grandmother would like me? i never got to meet her.." Katrina said looking at her mom

'Kai' carefully sat, leaning over on Katrina for support. "All depends on your future actions, my dear." She said with a smirk, planning to have Katrina at her side when she took over. If not, she would be forced to put her away. She laid her back against the wall,"Can you get me some soup..? I'm a bit hungry."

'Kai' sighed, hearing Katrina's confused tone. You'll soon understand.. She thought to herself, looking towards the empty case. The real Kai still trapped somewhere within the flute. There's a few ways for Kai to return to her form, but the chances of any of them happening are very low. She grinned evilly, the body starting to finally accept her as the superior.
