"They were part of my clan. All gone now. And really it was just my father and brother." She smiled sadly at her memories with her brother. "My big brother was my best friend. We'd always go exploring and make 'new' discoveries. Every day. Until the attacks started and we were forced to stick close to the caverns."

"And your lucky as well you had family, love, siblings, all that i once had until... um can you just close your eyes and pretend i never said that."

"I am happy to be able to remember them, but that doesn't take the pain of loss away." She frowned. "I was fifteen at the time... twenty now. I'm still really young and have a lot to learn." She looked at him in curiousity. "I'm curious, but I'm not one to pry, so it was never said as far as I'm concerned."

Jade thought a long moment. "You know, I never reallly thought about it. For companionship, perhaps? I've been completely alone for the last five years and I know that if any I'd love to have a friend. Or something like a friend,"

Water guardian "Well to me love is a weakness and it is something that shouldnt be done." Starting to open a door. "Well here is your room." The room was covered in ice except the floor which looked like glass you could see right through it and it was very strong so nothing could break it. The glass allows you to see the marine life under you. And there were several sculptors as well.

"The room is beautiful... thank you," She smiled. "And... I guess it could be, but I'm sure it could also be used to make you strong. Yes those you love could be attacked or turn which could hurt you, but there's also safety in numbers, right? That's why my clan was so close knit. We watched each others backs and where one dragon was weak another was strong, which made up for that weakness."

Water guardian Hearing what to say he wanted to say something but just kept quiet. He looked away and slowly shut the door then started to slowly walk down the hallway thinking about his past.

Jade shrugged then moved towards the bed. She curled up and fell into a deep sleep... Jade woke the next morning and stretched. She looked around and was surprised to see she was underwater. Suddenly the events of the previous day struck her. She stood up and made her way back towards the room where the dragon had given her dinner the previous evening.

Awaken and carving a sculpture it shows a large rare fish being carved and not hearing anyone come in.

Water guardian As he worked he noticed the reflection on the ice he was carving he saw Jade but acted like he didnt notice. He continued to work on the scales one by one he kept carving till he got the whole body done.

Jade longed to comment, but knew better from times she watched elders in her clan do artwork. She'd always stare in awe and say something and ruin their concentration. She sat against the wall where she could watch.
