[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Training Room]
Noelle felt some relief in that acknowledging and facing the Darkness in her heart was better than ignoring it. But she couldn't get over the anxious knot in her stomach in regards to the situation. It made a lot of sense that people who harnessed the Darkness' power could easily become too comfortable with it and become consumed--but to her that was just carelessness. The best she could equate it to in her range of experience was the defenses she'd learned against knives. No matter how many times she did them her heart would race and skip a beat at any mistake she ever made. Part of the reason for this was that she refused to allow herself to become too comfortable with knife defenses. Any slip up, any wrong move, any slight contact with that fake plastic knife and she would tell herself, "You're dead. Game over." That was the only reason she could keep a healthy fear and respect for weapons--by repeatedly reminding herself how deadly they were. She hoped this would be no different. But then again, it was and had the potential to be very, very different.
The small blonde briefly paused after Riku finished, then answered him like it took no time to think about it at all, "Of course not. Uhh . . . I mean . . ."
That's when Noelle realized she had taken too little time to think about it and her genuine reaction didn't explain what she wanted to say as well. She sighed and shuffled her feet out of habit, looking around the room as she searched for the proper response.
"No," the agromancer replied, though more definitively this time, "This is not something I need. In fact, I'm satisfied with what I've been gifted with right now, I could have so much less. But the fact is, being able to use the Darkness has saved my butt before, as well as almost killing me at the same time, but that's besides the point. I guess what I'm really trying to get at is . . . if learning how to use Darkness can save just one of us once from an otherwise impossible scenario, then my time has not been wasted. I'm not concerned with using this to get stronger or to gain some sort of upper hand in this crazy, stupid fight against the Replicas. I want it to protect my friends--my new family. And that's the long and short of it."

[ Riku : Shipwreck Cove : Training Room ]
His lips slowly curled upward as she spoke.
Smart girl. Smarter than I was...
"That's exactly right," he responded, and he held out a hand in front of him, palm open and facing the ceiling. With little effort, a ball of dark-blue fire formed in his hand, crackling with energy but lacking any sort of heat. "When using the Darkness, you should never consider it a source of power, but another weapon to wield- a double-edged sword. You've fought with weapons before, it's obvious from your experience with your spear, and that's exactly what you need to remember. The moment you drop your guard, the moment you don't keep your hold just tight enough..."
Once again, he seemed to struggle for the right words; he didn't know he'd been repeating basically her own thoughts, but he figured she'd come across something along those lines. He gazed into the azure flames, his eyes narrowed in thought.
"Instead of a gash, you'll be left with a stain which grows with every moment your grip is loosened. That's how you get lost. Any chance the Darkness has, it blots out the light of your heart bit by bit," he continued, looking toward her now, his eyes somewhat glazed over, as if he were somewhere else. "The Light never leaves, but as time goes by... it stops guiding you. Suddenly, you're following a completely different path, and you never even realized the Light had been clouded to begin with."
"Luckily, you have us here to remind you just what the Light really is," he said, lowering his head and smiling, as if remembering something. "If you're still willing, and I'm sure you are, then I'll do my best to help guide you. But if you take this path, I'll need you stick by me. No one else in the group is quite as familiar with the stages as I am, and I don't want you to fall and not be able to get back up."

[Elleon ~ Paris ~ Beauvais Manor Ballroom]
"That would be the one." Elleon smiled impishly, eyes darting to the sides to be sure no one was eavesdropping. "It is certainly a treasure and holds a great deal of power. I know precisely where it is and it will be mine by tomorrow--I just need to iron out a few kinks with the demon of a king that wants it for himself. He will be out of my hair before long though."
The waltz began to come to an end but they didn't remain stationary for long. The orchestra began to play another lively song, though it wasn't as fast a tempo as the last. It was another waltz. The Replica offhandedly rolled her eyes. How original of them. Couldn't they do with a minuet? This was Paris, after all. After rethinking this she decided it was probably for the best. Ajora probably didn't know that particular dance. He was classy, but not that classy. It happened to be one of her personal favorites because the footwork was fun. But she could wait on it.
Elleon continued as they began dancing again, "Now, the reason why I've asked you here is merely to request a favor. The favor is this: let me have your dead bodies. Not too much to ask, I hope? I didn't think you'd be doing too much with them anyway. But more than that, I'd appreciate it if you would just start killing off insignificant people when you get the chance. Left and right, whenever you please. I need the corpses. Reason being, the Black Cauldron has the ability to reanimate them."
The small blonde left it at that, thinking that Ajora could probably connect the dots on his own.
[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Training Room]
Noelle watched and listened to Riku with a quiet, serious expression. Doubts started creeping their way in, but before they could get too far she squashed them and any chance of cold feet. It was time to stop being capricious in regards to this very serious matter.
"I promise." the agromancer said, affirming that she was ready to learn and strictly follow Riku's instruction. "The last thing I want to do is endanger myself and, by consequence, you guys. Oh and . . . could you not tell the others about this just yet? I mean, I know they'll figure it out eventually but . . . I want to be able to tell them myself. It's silly but, I think it's important."

[John.:Shipwreck Cove:.Upper Balcony --> Underwater]
John contemplated the jump for a long while. He understood very little about what was happening and was not even sure what to truly think of the entire 'your body has been duplicated and made into an evil more powerful version of yourself brah... WHATCHU GON' DO ABOUT IT' situation. One by one he saw the members of the group begin to disappear. The people back on the ship seemed rather boring to him as they lacked the sense of adventure so.
"s**t, wait for me!!!" he shouted as he flung himself over the balcony into a dive into the water. Only after he had flung himself, however, did he realize that he had a terrible fear of heights. He hit the water hard and awkwardly and plummeted towards the group. Gradually the 'gillification' process began as he began to slowly morph into... a merperson!
Explosion of lightning and POOF, merperson. A short distance away, the rest of the group began to leave. He 'sprinted' toward the rest of the group and eventually caught up.
"Good. Ok, yes good..." he stated to no one in particular.

[Dani :: Shipwreck Cove ::Underwater]
Dani immediately jumped when she heard Kyla's voice. "Sheesh you scared me a second Kyla." Dani said laughing while analyzing Kyla. "I really like your tail as well. I just don't know what type of fish tail that is." Dani mostly stayed quiet during the discussion of what was going on underwater. "I really hope that we don't run into any of those pirate mermaids" Dani commented as she followed the group underwater "That does bring up a question for me though. Would me and Kyla be affected by the pirate mermaids since we are girls?"
Dani was completely in awe as she could finally breathe underwater. "I feel at home." Dani thought to herself and did a flip underwater to test out her new tail.
"Must be that water power in you," Leviathan said back to the assassin.
"I don't know but it is pretty cool." Dani thought before watching John catch up to them.
"Hey John where is the fire." Dani spoke behind her while swimming with the rest of the group that went underwater.

[Nick :: ???? :: ????]
The Dark Knight stepped out of the corridor, the large blade he had recently 'inherited' dragging in the snow behind him. He chuckled to himself, his breath floating into the air like a puff of smoke. Nick gazed down at his arm, noticing the ever familiar charm dangling around his right wrist. He bit his lip, then grinned like a child in a candy store. Time to play the good little boy~
He focused on the charm, then on Ajora in order to contact only him. Ajora~, he cooed as if he was a small child, I have the most wonderful news! I went exploring and found myself a fancy new toy! I'd rather show you in person, but I will say that I once had four, but now I have five! I'm heading home to rest, so we shall speak when you are free. Ta-ta~
Nick 'signed off' with such a cheerful note, he couldn't help but be excited. He began trudging through the snow, singing out loud to no one. "I don't want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need~ I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree~ I just want your soul for my own~ More than you could ever know~ Make my wish come true~" He held the note, his voice cracking slightly which he made no attempt to care about, "All I want for Christmas is yoooooooou.....dead." He cackled to himself, looking up to see a familiar frozen castle. He walked right on in, the sword following along right behind him.

[ Ajora : Paris : Beauvais Manor Ballroom ]
Ajora tried to run over the idea of the cauldron, trying to figure out what could be so important, so grand about it. Cauldrons were meant for brewing things, yes? Perhaps an elixir of power or immortality, then--
As the dancing came to an end, only to transition into another, Ajora's thoughts were interrupted by Nicholas projecting a message via the charms. Oh, good, so they worked.
Four, then five, hmm...?
Ajora pondered on that as he and Elleon began dancing again. He knew Chaos had four blades, so a 5th might be possible, assuming Nicholas' Heartbound wasn't a blade. If it was, then he had no actual idea.
Elleon began to speak again, returning him from his mental reverie, and did so with a simple request: murder. Murder and save the corpses. Kill off the insignificant...
Cleanse.
And with that, he was given the answer to the Cauldron's importance-- reanimated dead, presumably under the owner's control. Why, with that in mind...
We could have a zombie army.
Ajora began to chuckle lowly under his breath, though that quickly grew to a rather jovial laugh-- not too loud as to disturb other patrons, but loud enough to be heard. He leaned toward her, still chuckling somewhat, his grin as wide as a Keyblader's, and whispered into her ear:
"You'll have an army hundreds strong by tomorrow night, ma bell'amie."

[ Riku : Shipwreck Cove : Training Room ]
"My lips were sealed anyway," he responded, nodding with a knowing smile. "I understand how hasty people can be to judge the Darkness, and you did ask to speak privately. So don't worry, your secret's safe with me."
He hummed a bit in thought before crossing his arms. "I guess our first step would be to find out how far it's progressed or manifested," he explained. "Different people manifest differently in the early stages. What can you do with it?"

[Elleon ~ Paris ~ Beauvais Manor Ballroom]
The Replica couldn't help but smile--she knew Ajora would be along for the ride. "Beautiful~"
Now that business was out of the way Elleon was truly beginning to enjoy herself. The grandeur of taking over a large Parisian manor and hosting a ball suited her. She could get used to the pomp and pamper. It was for that reason she decided to make the manor her base. Despite being a dark being she still needed a place to hang her hat.
"So, would you like a tour of the place? I can show you the bedrooms~" She said after a time, a seductive smile accompanying the suggestion. "In all seriousness, if you need a place to stay please let it be here. The Flying Dutchman is hardly a suitable place to rest. And I don't think you'll receive any finer service than here."
[Noelle ~ Shipwreck Cove ~ Training Room]
"Well . . ." Noelle replied, pondering his question, "Back in Agrabah I summoned a heartless . . . a heartless. Granted a little further into the night I could manage a few more, but only one at a time and it was a bit of a drag. After that I got scared and left it alone. That was about five or six days ago. Then earlier this morning I was able to open a portal and drop through it. Drop being the operative word. Like I said earlier, it saved my a** but at the same time nearly killed me. I didn't know how to open the portal or where it would end up, but I was panicked and knew if I didn't try I was proooooobably going to die. So, I tried it, it worked, but I popped out the other side about three stories off the ground . . . Not one of my finer moments . . ."

[ Kyle ; Sora : Shipwreck Cove : Decks ]
As Dani spoke, Kyle was thinking of a response until another body hit the water. He sharply jolted, turning to face the person-- who else could have survived a fall from that height?! There was just no way--
.:So quick to forget Halloween Town, are we?:.
Kyle stopped his thoughts for a moment, trying to remember what Ultima was referencing. When the memory came back, his body lost it's tension as he silently "Oh"-d. He'd forgotten about the powerful blast that had thrown him into a building before Mateus showed up, followed by the rapid, successive Banish blasts from Ajora, forcing him into a wall. He'd had no broken bones then, and he'd forgotten.
The laws of physics in this universe... magic has altered them ever so slightly, I guess. Magic is... in everything.
Then Kyle saw that it was John and snorted.
Also John's a mother @#$in;g tank.
"Glad you could tag along, John," Kyle said with a grin, motioning with a wave for him to follow before swimming backward out of the cove exit. He'd lost track of his response for Dani. "Been awhile since I've seen you. Have a good time with the others?"
"I dunno, Dani," Sora responded, shrugging as he swam forward. "I've never even heard of these other mermaids, but they might have mermen, too, so I'd keep your guard up just in case."

The fighter let out a small sigh as John joined them with a loud splash. How wonderful, everyone was taking giants leaps of faith today. Must be a new fad. He'd have to try it out-oh wait he did.
The male smiled as he swam after Kyle. "Oi, be careful, or you're going to back into a rock. And it's hard enough to get you to be healed."

[ Riku : Shipwreck Cove : Training Room ]
Riku seemed to be casually listening at first, but the moment she mentioned a Corridor, he tensed, analyzing her words a bit more carefully.
"Well, before we even go further, I should warn you," he started, remembering his first use of the Corridors all too clearly. "Avoid using Corridors if you can. At such an early stage, they put much more strain on the Heart than most other instances of Darkness manipulation. The first few times I used them... the stain was agonizing."
"But Heartless control... that's interesting. And definitely easy to work with," he continued, loosening up a little bit. "I can't do it anymore, personally, but it's much easier to explain than some of the other things."
"So, first off, Heartless are instinctive beasts-- they will obey whoever has the strongest willpower. So you have to be confident in your summoning, you have to be self-assured, and most of all, you cannot doubt yourself," he started off. "As long as your will never wavers, no one can wrest control. The moment you let doubt settle in while controlling a Heartless, you've lost ownership. They'll attack you and your opponent equally... and worse, if the person can control Heartless as well, he'll be able to make it his ally."
"As for the actually summoning, you already know how, so that's good," he went on. "What you've probably already figured out are the limits-- a Heartless' strength is dependent on the Darkness in its Heart, and you can only summon as much Darkness as your Heart can actually control. For example, perhaps you can summon and control three Shadows, but you might only be able to summon and control one Soldier."
"You could summon and exert your control over more, but doing so would be pushing the strength of your Heart, possibly adding more to the stain. While that might be beneficial, in that you could control more, it would also be placing you more at risk," he finished, but not before adding. "And when you call upon more Darkness than your Heart is used to, it had a nasty habit of planting doubt-- increasing the risk of losing control."
"For now, how about you just try to summon as many Shadows as you can at once, hmm?" he asked, summoning his Keyblade lazily. "If something goes wrong, we'll just wipe the floor with them anyway."

[ Ajora : Paris : Beauvais Manor Ballroom ]
As Elleon teased him with amorous jest, Ajora just smiled toward her; however, his mind was immediately set aflame with riotous thoughts, different perspectives, all yelling, so much yelling--
And then, with her return to 'serious' conversation, they all silenced... triumphantly. He nodded, his expression gracious. "I'd be honored to make my stay in this lovely manor, thank you for the offer. I was hoping for a bed to sleep in, and I think one of yours will do quite nicely," he responded, his tone just as playful as hers had been; his mind was once more crowded with mental anarchists, all quite... 'reassuring'.

John swam up and down in a giddy little pattern. After doing a small little flip in the water, he sped over to Dani.
"No fire here Dan-dan we're in the watah you silly goose!" John retorted. Upon hearing Kyle, he said "Ya dude thanks for waiting! The other group was fun and all, just a little on the tight side, ya know? We gotta get loose if we're gonna try and f*** some baddies ya?"
He looked at the abyss of blue ahead, and sighed.
Well, it's not flying, but it's close enough Ixi...
He was taken by the vastness of the ocean before them.

Elleon watched the expressions on Ajora's face, trying to read his thoughts through his eyes. Judging by his initial reaction, the rest of the night had the potential to be . . . interesting. One could only hope.
"Choose said bed wisely. Only one of them will have a lady in it." The small blonde chuckled, hearing the current musical selection begin to slow. "Well, it's getting rather late. The ball won't continue on for too much longer. We can dance some more, you may finish your meal, or retire. The choice is yours--you are the esteemed guest after all."
