Lightface shrugged. "We just go to the places we got to in newleaf, greenleaf, leaf-fall, and leaf-bare." She stretched, and licked the taste of cobweb out of her mouth. "And we just had to pick through the frozen ones."

Hazelpaw kept her senses alert in search of any new prey. She looked at Dragoneyes and shook her head. "No Dragoneyes, I don't see any prey. I don't smell any either. Maybe we could try over there?" she mewed, flicking her tail in a new direction. Maybe they would have some luck in a different area.

Lightpaw nodded once and went down on her belly resting her head on her paws. She watched Hazelpaw with interest as she sniffed the air and scanned the area. When she suggested that they go somewhere else Lightpaw smiled and got to her feet. She motioned to Hazelpaw to lead the way as she fell into step behind her.

Dragoneyes nodded. "Off we go then." Following Hazelpaw, Dragoneyes noted the almost complete silence. It was rather odd, seeing as most of the time the hills were alive with bird calls and other animal noises. Wondering if either of the apprentices had noticed this, Dragoneyes asked, "Do you hear anything?"
((Heh heh. Who wants an attack from dogs? So much fun to have terror and fighting. <3))

((we need something. Wish we could bump into another clan or something....and what happened to the gathering that was supposed to happen like last weekend? >.<))
Lightpaw sniffed the air and perked up her ears. She didn't hear much. The wind on the moor, and if you listened really closely you could hear the far off river that went through Riverclan territory. But other than that...it was a bit of an eerie silence. Was that just because it was leafbare? or...
She looked back at Dragoneyes with a puzzled expression.

Hazelpaw froze and listened. She heard nothing, which shouldn't have bothered her but the silence was odd. She look over to Lightpaw who noticed the awkward silence too. Then Hazelpaw glanced up to Dragoneyes. "Why is it so quiet?" she asked and flexed her claws.

Dragoneyes stood stiffly, looking around for any sign of danger. "I don't know, Hazelpaw, I don't know."
Narrowing her eyes, Dragoneyes poofed up slightly. "Don't say anything. I need to be able to hear." Her ears swiveling, Dragoneyes listened for any soumds at all. There were none, but they were too far away from camp to get there in a hurry if trouble struck. "Come on. We need to get back to camp."

Lightface stretched, and mewed to Smallstar, "I might go hunt for a little bit. There's no one injured.." She paused, and added, "Except for you, and we have all the herbs we need..." She laughed. "And I'd quite like to see how Hazelpaw and Lightpaw are doing in their training."

Lightface shrugged. "I guess you can come with me. If we see any herbs that grow in places we've never seen before, it'll be good for you to see them." She walked out of camp, calling over her shoulder, "You can stay here if you'd like, though."
