(( Pools of doom ))
The rum was actually for him to warm his body up. If he'll be sitting up there for the rest of the night, he would like his body to be warm than to be freezing all night.
"Apology accepted, I'll come up now." Kyou said as he run around to the back to the tank so he could get up to where Tsu is. He was some ways from the short ladder to Tsu, waiting for him to come down first so he could go up. Then he noticed that Tsu's foot seemed to be a bit wobbly.
"Hey Tsu, be careful up there!!" he shouted. "Don't go falling into the water yourself now!"

[[Pools of Doom]]
"I'll... be... fine...." Tsu said with a flush coming to his face as he gingerly lifted himself from the seat. It really did seem like his bum got frozen to the metal somehow over the course of the chilly night. "I've done this many times before!" Skillfully lifting himself to his feet, he wobbled a little but managed to stay balanced.
"See? Piece of cake!" Tsu said with a grin and a wink. However, the smile quickly faded as blood rushing to his legs, and the alcohol kicked in... causing him to slip...
SPLASH!!!!
Tsu floated there spluttering as the water seeped through his already clingy shirt. The pirate walked the plank without meaning to.

"Be ca...." Kyou was half a second to late as he witnessed Tsu slipped and dropped into the pool with a giant splash.
"Tsu!! Are you alright??!" He shouted as he ran to the side of the tank. When he saw that Tsu wasn't hurt and still in one piece, he sighed in relief. "Wait a moment, let me go get you a towel..." he said as he disappeared from Tsu's view. When he reappeared he had a huge pink towel in his hand. "Here Tsu! You can dry yourself up with this, I'll leave it on the tank side here." he said as he placed the pink towel on the brim of the tank.
Expecting the adult to be able to take care of himself, he left the side of the tank and instead moved upwards towards the platform where Tsu was warming up for him all evening. And also, he could see Tsu's amusing floating figure better from up there.
Sitting promptly on the platform and grabbing the flask of rum on the side, he shouted to the crowd. "Now that the pirate had met an unexpected demise in the waters, it's time for another victim... or should I say saviour, to the dying night? Don't let me put out the fires so early now!!"
Lazarus cracked out in fits of roaring laughter when he saw Tsu fell into the water. "Serves you right!!" he shouted towards Tsu's and Kyou's general direction before turning back to Zavier. "I guess lady luck intended him to humiliate himself in this fine evening eh?" he said as he continued to laugh some more. Finally calming himself down as he rubbed some tears off the corner of his eyes.
"Oh man, that was hilarious!" he let out the last bit in a chuckle. "But hey, Kyou is up there now, want to give it another try to actually dunk someone?" he suggested to Zavier, remembering what Zavier said earlier in the evening.
(( Kyou is up for dunking!! Please look at the first page to see what's the lucky (or unlucky?) number!! I changed the range of the random number to 1-40, so it might be easier to hit!! ))

Ravi offered We`rika yet another blank stare. "Kind? You don't know...? I mean... err... don't worry about it." He flopped one of his hands at We`rika, too mentally distracted to explain. He then returned his attentions back to Sevilin, who was showing an affection towards the punch bowl that was borderline awkward. "Maybe you can plant them with Vyn. She might like that a lot," he said, remembering the rosy Raevan's disposition towards plants that weren't removed from the ground.
"I think... I'm going to go explore the rest of the party. Maybe outside," he said, gesturing towards the other side of the house. He paused, wondering if the Huichol would follow him or not.

Sevilin poured himself one more cup with the little ladle, watching the liquid stream pour into his little paper cup. "Vyn? oh! Yes! That would be fun!" Though as enthusiastic as he sounded, the little Frei didn't take his eyes off the sugary concoction.
We`rika watched him with a cautious eye. "You are going to wind up on my floor foaming a' th'mouth in yer OD stupor! And then wha' am I gonna do?" Taking Sevilin's cup and ignoring the high-pitched squeal of protest that echoed off the walls, the shaman dumped it in the sink and gave him a glass of water. "Here. If I find ya been drinkin' anymore punch I am takin' away your plushies!"
"No! Not my plushies!!! Thas not faaair!!!"
We`rika lowered his glasses and just stared at Sevilin until he calmed down. "Go find someone ta play with... Wha' happened ta Lara?"
The sea dragon shrugged disillusioned by We`rika and his dirty threats. "She's outside playing with something about dunking in water? Something..."
Pseudo George Michael stiffened. Muffin and water? Oh my God!! Huffing, We`rika grabbed hold of his devil friend and rushed to the backyard. This would be fun!
Sniffing, Sevilin floated out and away from the addicting punch, water in hand. He looked around for someone else to talk with, not wanting to disappoint We`rika (or get his plushies taken away!)

Aphismet chuckled from under his mask, his shoulders bobbing slightly. "I'm glad it fits; it was really just a coincidence. I'm glad you both like it. And, erm, I'm sorry, Alex... I haven't played video games since... Well, never, really." He laughed self-depreciatingly. "I'm really sorry. B-but, you really do look amazing!" he added hurriedly, hoping he didn't somehow insult her by not knowing.
Rivener had been outside for a while now, watching the tank goings-on... When he spotted Kyou getting up on the dunk tank, he grinned. Would he really be allowed to try and dunk Doctor Kyou? It seemed... sacrosanct! No one is supposed to mess with Kyou, right? Riv glanced at Roux, Laz, Zave... Would any of them have the guts to try? Rivener was usually not shy about trying something first, but for this, he didn't want to be first in line. Once someone else tried, then maybe he would give it a shot.

((Junk Shack --> Shadow Chateau))
Josh giggled as the frei spoke through a cup which was placed firmly around his mouth to form something like a styrofoam beak. The “beak” only succeeded in obscuring his words with a sort of tunnel effect. The raevan removed the cup to reveal a light ring of red framing his pouting lips where the punch had stained his face. Josh nonchalantly extracted a styrofoam cup of his own from a tidy stack placed on the refreshment table and poured himself a liberal amount of the chilled crimson brew. The boy made sure to avoid the frei’s protective gaze over the ghoulishly decorated bowl and its sugar-laden contents.
As he gulped down the last remains of the beverage he returned to his conversation the “lumpy cucumber”… or at least tried. Josh was taken aback as the raevan chose to have a tête-à-tête with another person who seemed to be adorned in a slightly revealing devil costume. It wasn’t like Josh could say anything though, he was the boy who happened to be laced up in a frilly azure corset at the moment. Instead, he chose to linger patiently as the raevan chattered animatedly before him.
Once the duo of Ravi and We’rika had left for the spectacles outside, Josh followed after the frei and peeped up to catch their attention once more, “It is nice to meet you umm… what is your name?” Josh frowned a bit bashfully and continued his jovial prodding, “So do you know anything fun to do around here?” He noticed that they were entering the Shadow Chateau which had a few games arranged inside.
((Sorry for the late reply We'rika! D: ))

Jae watched in amused shock as Tsu fell into the feezing tank of water. Remembering she still had a towel on her shoulders, she dashed over.
"Ah!! Mr. Tsu are you----------"
She stopped as she was greeted by the sight of a fluffy pink towel. "Um.............." Well, it didn't look like he was hurt at all...
Craning her neck as Kyou announced being up for dunkage, she decided to stick around on standby with the towel from the bobbing pool. Of course, she was still slightly confused, and a small pout started to spread across her face, her hands resting on her hips as she tried to sort out the situation in her head.

Mouse had been watching the spectacle at the dunk tank for quite some time now. So far, the winds of fortune had blown in favor of the pirate sitting on the plank; not a single person managed to hit the target, even though a few of them got nervewrackingly close! The horseman herself had wanted to participate, but had been uneasy about trying since she had not one, but two chimera to look after since promising Roux she would take care of his octopussy. But that changed when the less familiar doctor splashed down into the frigid artificial depths... and was replaced with Doctor Kyou.
Well... the smaller chimera was sleeping, and Mitya could look after her for just a few moments. It wouldn't hurt to try for at least the three times she'd be alotted.

(( Pools of Doom [throw number: 12] )) Mouse is smart about her costume this time around: instead of taking the whole cloak off, her hand finds a tiny little button that collapses the wire contraption hiding her head, leaving her to have the best vision she could have possible for her go at the dunk tank. Glancing up at the fireman Kyou with a malicious little smile, she throws back her arm and propels it towards the target. For a split second, it almost looks like it hit-- the ball had indeed made contact with the button, but at just the angle that it glanced harmlessly off of it with a heart-stopping clang instead of releasing the mechanism that would have cause the doctor to plunge into the chilly tank. Cursing under her breath, the horseman grips another ball and prepares her next throw. " Well, I still have two shots left!"

(( Pools of Doom [throw number: 8] )) On her next throw, the horseman tries to perfectly recreate how she whizzed the first one so close with a couple of extremely tiny adjustments. The result? The ball still manages to not break a window or give someone a concussion, but this time it strays a little farther from the target than the thrower would like. A much less terrifying noise signals its bouncing off the tarp several inches away from the large painted button. The fireman remains dry, but there's still one more piece of ammo in this girl's arsenal.

(( Pools of Doom [throw number: 12] )) Alright... last shot. Mouse takes a deep, cleansing breath for this one, looking almost as if she's trying to channel some sort of spiritual power or magical energy into the remaining ball clasped between her gloves. Then, with an attack stance, her arm blurs towards the prize once again, ball flurrying in a beeline right at the target. And hits it square in the mddle. ... " Okay, is this game rigged?" the greenhead can't help but say. She knew that the Lab staff wouldn't stoop so low as to make a game impossible to win, but come on. Was her luck just so terrible that some overlooked exception in the laws of physics had caused her ball to not have the right velocity in order to depress that damn button and drench the suspendered man sitting above the tank? Well, looking at how terrible she's always been with things like this, it probably was. Oh well.. with an accepting sigh, she pulled the cloak back over her head and left the line to make room for anyone else who might want to play.

Natsuki couldn't help but feel responsible for Tsu's going overboard. Following quickly after Kyou, guilt washed over her like a dam bursting. Regardless, a flush still painted her cheeks pink at the sight of the doctor in the water. From beneath the ladder, Natsuki pulled out of box of cupcakes with Kyou's name on it. Setting it beside the ladder, just in arm's reach she gave Tsu's brother a warm smile.
"Do you have a change of clothes, Tsu?" Natsuki asked, waiting for the water-logged pirate to scramble out of the tank. Holding her arms out, Natsuki offered the pirate a spare pair of land legs to shepherd him to safety. She didn't mind getting a little wet, since she was to blame for his intoxication. "I have dry clothes in my car, if you are in need of of a change of clothing. Let's get you changed, shall we? Last thing we need is you catching pneumonia."

(( Entrance --> Monster Mash Dining Room))
This new one was odd. Why did they insist on covering their face like Gage? It wasn't until Vyn looked around that she finally noticed that many others also had their face hidden. Maybe that was why Shuura had made her put something across her face too, though the salmon pink veil did little to obscure her features and merely enhanced the rosy color of the Vyn's full lips.
Lu-cre-tia. The name was complicated, and she did not try to repeat it. Vyn did not know any of the others she saw milling about. Rivener, Sevilin...she did not see them here. The walkers that were within visible range were not familiar, either. Reflex made her curtsy slightly to the black walker who tipped a great tall hat at her from behind the feathery newcomer--and then he too was gone. There was only them. If the feather-one wanted to follow, she might as well. There was no harm in that, certainly. Vyn had noticed that even among others of her kind there were differences. Even Rivener as familiar and dear to her as he was, he was still different, and always preferred to be with Roux. But between herself and this one, the difference was less.
Gracefully inclining her head at the other, Vyn turned around again so that she was facing away from Lucretia. "...No-one here. I do not know." The Frei's slender shoulders shrugged gently--a gesture she had unknowingly picked up from her guardian--then she started drifting off towards the direction where music seemed to be coming, looking back only once to check on her new follower. "...I go not far." Vyn's voice was deep and lulling, and her tone a little warmer than usual. It was as if the normally solitary Shadow Frei was trying to encourage this strange newcomer.

(( Pools of doom ))
Once Kyou settled comfortably on the plank, he popped open the rum Tsu left behind and took a fre small gulps. Warmt washed over his body immediately. His body reacts very quickly to alcohol like that. The good thing is that he don't get drunk so easily, he's not even tipsy, although there's a light blush on his cheeks. At least right now he don't feel as cold anymore.
His eyes grew wide when the headless horseman's ball hit the button so extremely close so many times. Truth to be told, his heart skipped a beat when the last throw hit the button squarely. But thank goodness the throw wasn't strong enough to push the button that would send him very swiftly into the water. It wouldn't be a very good idea because he would fall on top of Tsu who's preparing to get out of the tank.
"Hey, get out of the tank already Tsu! I don't want to fall on top of you!!" emphasizing the last word teasingly. But man, that horseman, though headless, but still have a damn good aim.
