His shoulders slumped and briefly Zell looked like he did when arriving to the cafeteria just after all the hotdogs had been sold out. Then he shrugged, rolling his shoulders a bit until a smile spread once more across his features. "Fishing? Sure. Sounds fun. There's rods in one of the storage rooms I think. Probably even one I can use."
Laughing grin. "We'll probably have to face the glomp-squad when we leave. 'less they found a new game while we've been in here."

Squall tilted his head. "The glomp squad? Who or what is that?" he wasn't sure he wanted to know what it was. "if you show me were the rods are I will carry them. Also while we are fishing we can do some aquatic training. Like in water battles. " He then smirked a bit.

Casually trotting back to the entrance Zell laughed. "You met the glomp squad on the way in. He shrugged, showing he thought it was fine if Squall wanted to carry the rods. "Aquatic training? Right on!" Thoughtful look. "Might wanna go up to fish in the ocean, 'stead of the lake then. Old'man Logan'd keel-hawl us if we stirred the fish up too bad. Plus, more room."

"Sure the ocean sounds good. We should be able to get some good size fish from the ocean and be able to some aquatic training," said Squall nodding in agreement. He heard of Logan but he never met the guy. "Well I guess we should be careful when we get back in your room."

"Oh yeah. tons. And with the weather lots of the boats'll be out so we can fish from the pier!" Tails tipped with blue flame wagged eagerly. "Hey! Maybe we can get some stuff for a fire & grill up what we catch for dinner!"
Zell licked his lips. Sure, hotdogs were the fist fighter's favorite, but some meals were just too good to pass up.

"Yeah that sound great. Maybe we should invite a few of our friends and make it a summer BBQ," said Squall. "I can see if my girlfriend can come. Maybe we can get Irvine and some of the others to come along as well. Make sure to bring your swimming shorts or suit." Squall then put away his gun blade.
"What do you think?"

Shrug. "Sure! If you can get 'em here! or have them meet us there." They were back at the magical door now and Zell opened it slowly, sticking his head through to peer out. He turned to Squall with a broad grin. "Coast is clear!"
With that he hopped through the door, waiting until Squall was through so he could shut it again.
Once back in the main room with the magic door shut behind them Zell turned and opened the door again, but this time it showed a storage closet. He ruffled around a bit until he found a stack of fishing rods which he grabbed and brought out to Squall.

Squall came out of the magical door and closed the door behind him. He looked about and twitched his ears.He heard nothing except for Zell. Did that mean that the glomp fiends were out for the day. He then took the fishing rod. He then looked at Zell's closet. It really needed to be cleaned out.
"We should head out before they come back." said Squall "We can stop by Logan's and I will buy us some bait."

Zell nodded, not really looking at his friend. "Yeah. Yeah." He closed the door on the closet. "Just wait a sec, kay? You're the one that said I needed my trunks."
He opened the same door once more -convenient that, not having to run around the small house- onto a tidy room almost identical to the one that had been his at Ma Dincht's in Balamb. The difference was it was slightly larger and things that otherwise would have been designed for a human were structured for a kitsusagi. Leaving the door open Zell bounded in, opened the dresser and tugged out a pair of black swim trunks with blue flames along the edges with his teeth. Then he pushed the drawer shut with his shoulder.
Grinning around the trunks in his mouth Zell moseyed back, shutting the door behind him. Shoving his trunks into a pocket of his uniform he stuck out his tongue. "That's my room! It's sacred!"
With that he nudged Squall to the front door. "Comin'?"

In the back of Squall head he thought, 'same as always.' He watched as he got his shorts. His room was suprisingly clean for a guy sometimes which was shocking to Squall a bit. Most of the people at the garden always expected it to be a disaster area. He also thought to himself, what with the flaming shorts?
"Yeah I am coming,' he said putting the rod against his shoulder and flowing Zell outside of the door.The breeze was nice outside. I was nice and cool for a summer day. "Let's get moving before it gets too dark outside to weree we can't see any fish." Squall smiled and waited for Zell outside of the door way.

Blue flame tipped tails wagged eagerly as they headed out of the house and down the porch. "Tch. If that Seifer cat can fish in the evening so can we." A slight frown was quickly replaced by a grin. "Another reason not to go to the lake, other than to Logan's for bait."
Zell trotted eagerly down the path out of the woods towards the lake.

Squall looked at Zell and they stood outside of Logan cabin. "If you wait here I will go get the bait," he said as he pulled out a wallet. " Alex lent me some money to buy us some bait." When he sent lent he took it and didn't tell her. He went inside and got the good grade A bait. He got about 10 bags of it so they would have enough bait to last a while. He stepped out of Logan's shop.
"Come one Zell let get going to the beach."

Giving the anthro an odd look Zell just nodded, a thoughtful look on his face as he shadowboxed while waiting outside. That same look greeted Squall when he came back out, Zell stopping his antics to start trotting towards the port. "How'd she lend ya money for bait if we didn't know we were gonna go fishing until a bit ago?"

"well...she didn't really lend it to me. It was money that she gives each one of us as our monthly allowance. So I save what money i get from her in case I want to go out drinking, or what not," said Squall. "Hey Zell question for you. Do you have a cell phone or anything on you. I left mine at home and I was thinking we should call Irvine up and get him to come down and fish and do some training with us. "

Zell stopped in his tracks at the thought of his commander going out drinking. He shrugged it aside just to be blindsided by Squall's question. "Huh? Cell phone? Naw. I do have a communicator though. All of us do. Well, not Tien and the other fae things. They only have the tracking device. Wouldn't want Tien calling home just to "disa" or something. But I could call home and ask someone to call him or something, sure."
