I was 12 or 13 when I found Sailor Moon and it was an obsession after that.

i started reading my first comic book when i was 10 (my dads old comic book collection from when he was 12) and found manga when i ran out of comic books

I started reading Manga when I was about 10 years old.
I didn't really get it then, but now I am pretty much used to manga. (It's pretty much all I ever read x3)
My first manga was Naruto, my little sister was RIGHT into Naruto , so I thought I would try it.... I was addicted ever since which I see that's the whole reason everyone here started reading manga obvioulsy. xP
I know this a bit off topic but, I just got two new manga today at Chapters.
I got We Were There volume 7, and Bamboo Blade volume 1 <--- I gotted a new manga series x3 (Bamboo Blade)

I started reading manga when I was thirteen or fourteen, so about five years ago. A friend at summer camp had recommended the .hack//Sign anime. I bought and basically had no clue what was going on, so I decided to read the .hack//Twilight manga to see if it would help. It really didn't. xp
I thought .hack//Twilight was alright, but I didn't totally love it. Then I discovered Fruits Basket. I've been in love with manga ever since.

I first started in 7th grade, my friend lent me the Kingdom Hearts manga since I had always wanted to play the game, but i hadn't managed to buy or rent it. She happened to own them and got me into them. After that I read FullMetal Alchemist and Naruto and couldn't stop after that.

I was around the age of 14. I was looking up the Naruto manga, I thought it was going to be the next DBZ. Then I bought one volume of GTO, I was hooked after that and now have all the volumes. Rigth now collecting Berserk.
