He smiled at her. "Oh? We are almost there already?" He asked calmly. He looked to where she had been looking and could see a bit of it too. It was getting darker, and he was rather surprised that she was still here. He'd figured that she would have been gone long ago.
"The moon looks big tonight." He said looking up at the sky. Stars had just started to show up.

Ki-Chi looked up at the moon and stars. They were beautiful, and the moon did seem bigger than it usually was. "You're right!" she said. "Maybe when we get to the lake we can watch for falling stars." She sighed in contentment. She hadn't enjoyed herself this much in a long time. It was so nice to just relax and not have to care about anything for once, even if it was only for a little while.
She kept looking up at the stars as she was walking, mesmerized by the twinkling gems.

Tawny hadn't ever watched the stars. They were always something that others did together. "Huh? Oh? Well.... I don't know if any falling stars would happen" He said looking a bit confused. He had watched his parents look up at the stars together and just assumed it was a couple thing.
He slowed down a bit. He didn't want her to get him wrong, he loved stars at night. "I mean.... I have always thought watching stars was a couple thing." He said quietly. He walked beside her with his silver eyes at the ground.

Ki-Chi looked at him, confused. "A couple thing? Like, you've never done it by yourself?" She laughed a little, and smiled at him. "Stargazing is a lot of fun. Do you know any of the constellations? I'll show them to you if you don't." She laughed again, happy that she was sharing her night with such an interesting Ulaya.

He laughed. "No, what I meant that it's a mate thing." He felt really stupid. He continued to look at the ground. "I've looked to the sky, but I don't watch the stars at night. It's just something you do with someone you love." He said again remembering his parents.
"Or that's how I was raised when I was little." He looked to Kirei with a smile. "Stupid, huh?"

"That's not stupid at all!" Ki-Chi felt bad for possibly hurting his feelings. "I would love to do that someday." She said, grinning at him.
"Oh wow." Kirei said. "We're already at the lake!" She hadn't realized how long they had been walking. It was very pretty, you could see the moon and stars reflected in the water... and... something else?

Amaroq listened intently on the two ulaya's conversation, flying behind them slowly, and everso quietly so as to not be noticed. He felt like he was being rude by just listening, and without their knowing, but he didn't know what else to do. Just popping out of nowhere would seem pretty awkward, but he hoped to meet with them soon. As he flew in the direction of the lake, he stopped onto the branch of a tree, resting his wings until then setting off again.
He was now just above the two ulaya, and really close to the lake; he felt a small ache in his wings and felt himself start to lower closer torward the ground; apparently his quick rest didn't do much. Amaroq flapped his wings, franticly, afraid that he would fall onto them. Gaining a little bit of altitude, he quickly looked down over the lake that was beneath him, plotting on what to do next. His flapping might have already gained the ulaya's attention, and he didn't know as to how much longer his wings could take being up there. Looking down to the lake again, he took a deep breath and dived down into the lake, tucking in his wings at the last minute.
After landing into the water, he burst out of the surface, taking a gasp of air and then tucking back into the water, his whole body aching from his hit into the water.

Tawny jumped as there was a huge splash in the lake next to them. He looked over to it then saw something amerg out of if. What was it? The darkness of the water and the darkness of the creature made it hard for him to tell what it was.
He just hoped it wasn't something that was going to attack them. He was stopped in his tracks, though he didn't even realize it, watching the spot where the other creature was. "Who's there?" he asked finally getting the nerve to see what exactly it was.

Ki-Chi stopped in her tracks as she heard the loud splash. She looked towards the lake, trying to discern the animal from the surroundings, but it was too dark to see anything. She was relieved when tawny called out, although she wasn't too afraid of what the creature might be, she'd be more concerned if she were alone.
She stood quietly next to Tawny, waiting to see who or what this creature was. She hoped it wasn't hurt...

Under the sound of the sloshing water, Amaroq could hear the faint sound of someone's voice. He raised himself slightly above the water, facing over to the other ulaya. He did a small paw wave to them "Um...hello." He said in a small voice. He coughed and ducked back down into the water, swimming over to an edge of the lake as fast as he could, only slowing down a bit from the aches in his legs as he swam.
Amaroq crawled out of the water and over to the lake's edge, his body shaking from the cold. He wasn't that far away from the two ulaya, though he felt confused as to what to do next, he seemingly stood there, only taking a few slow steps over to them; a sheepish smile on his face. Though uncertain as to how their reactions torward him, he coughed, clearing his throat. "I-I'm A-Amaroq.." He replied as he stood a few feet away from them, bowing his head to them in respect.

Tawny relax a bit seeing how the other Ulaya seemed to be nice. He gave a warm smile to the other. He seemed rather dark, but he figured it was from the dark sky.
"I'm Tawny." He took a step closer to the other. He hadn't ran into another male for a long time either. It was nice to see a friendly face, or at least see one that seemed to be friendly. His tail wagged a bit, and he took another step closer.

Seeing Tawny relax his taught muscles made Kirei-Chi relax. This new Ulaya seemed friendly. She took a step closer and said "Hi! I'm Kirei-Chi. Are you alright? You look freezing!" She grinned at him and wagged her tail as well.
Could it be possible she would make two friends tonight?

Amaroq smiled, seeing that so far his meeting with the two was turning out better than he thought. "Hello Tawny, and Kirei-chi." He looked down to the ground realizing as to how dripping wet he was. "Oh, I'm alright, just a bit cold.", he replied as he started to shake some of the water off of his legs individually, while trying to not get them wet. He fell a bit silent for a minute. "I-I'm very sorry if I...interupted something...."

Tawny couldn't help but laugh. The way the other Ulaya said it made it seem funny. "Oh, nonsence. You didn't intrupt anything." He said with a smile still laughing just a bit.
"We could head towards the trees a bit more, that'll keep some of the wind off you until you dry." He said nodding towards the trees a few yards away. He looked at Kirei and smiled. He was glad this wasn't a bad incounter.

Kirei-Chi returned Tawny's smile with one of her own. "That sounds like a good idea." She started off in that direction and stopped to look back. Seeing the both of them standing next to each other made her realize how different they were. She also noticed small wings on this new Ulaya... Amaroq.
"Hey Amaroq, is it okay if i call you Roq? And... are those wings just for show, or can you actually use them?" She had never seen a Ulaya with wings before. They were very pretty.
