Reality will hit this one hard in the head. She thought. Though pushing her beliefs will not do any good to this fair numa. "I bid you to reconsider." Was all the dark numa pup said before jumping down to the ground and looking up at where the other stood on a gumdrop. Her tail cracked up in to the air like thunder and she looked to the side. The sun finally going in to her favor; which ment the moon was rising soon. Her element and she felt the freedom lurking through her paws.
She wouldn't leave this numa unless she knew she was safe and with another. She though like a huntrer sometimes and traveling in packs was much a safer thought then just leaving one wide open to danger. She scruffed her paws in to the dirt with a smirk like if a taunting manner to race or fly.

"And what business is it of yours?" Scottie grumbled, growing increasingly annoyed with this numa. She flattened her ears when she heard a female voice calling her name from a hill or two away and snorted, looking away from it. She was avoiding her mother, so Licorice could just come and get her. Scottie frowned at the other numa's grin though, wondering what she wanted now.

"Is that- could it be? your mother?" She curled her paws in and leaped behind the young numa pup and dodged for where the voice was coming from. It was so sweet.. She kept running and running. Her location we fairly easy. She came through and planted herself at the mid of the hill. Almost to the top. The breeze waving her fur around as she smirked. She would tell her the pups mom the location and then she would be safe. She turned a little just in case the other wanted to run away from her mother which she wouldnt allow.

Scottie was ignoring the other numa by now, curling up under a root of the gumdrop tree to nap after gorging herself on the candy. She did not know the other was going to bring her mother right to her.
"Scottieeeee!" Licorice cried as she ran by the river, frantically looking for her daughter. It was not unusual in the least for the little one to wander off for the whole day, but that did not make Licorice fret any less. She refused to fly to search though - she was still horrific at it, and her mockery of landing would only make Scottie insult her as she usually did.

With a jump then a skid on to a rock she looked up. The female black and white numa spotted. Ah. Did she looked beautiful, the frame and even her eyes. which Sayuri seemed to focus on. With a crack to her tale she started to paw down the female adult.

Licorice jumped when she saw something out the corner of her eye, hoping it was her daughter, but she drooped when she saw it was just another little numa. She frowned though when she noticed the little one seeming to wave to her. She was frantic to find her daughter, but if this one needed help, she would not turn it away. "Hello?"

Sayuri jumped closer to the female and nodded. "Are you a mother?" She said... even if she really was convinced this was scotties mother. She would have felt bad if it wasn't her mother. They looked awfully alike. She whipped her tail as it cracked like a whip. Her voice seeming cold yet soft. Nudging her hair out of her face some.

Licorice nodded, her heart skipping a beat as she answered, "Yes, I am - my little girl's name is Scottie. Do you know where she is?" Her voice betrayed her worry, her tail trembling with fear that something had happened to her little one.

Nodding and then leaping in to the grass once again. To lead the other... Her face was scratched in to the grass; running through the grass and she skitted on to a gumdrop. Whipping her tail up in the air. A cracking sound. Right after the gumdrop... there be scottie. She looked on over to see if the other was still there.

Licorice bounded after the other one, letting out a big, relieved sigh when she saw her daughter. "Thank you so much!" she thanked the little numa, carefully picking up Scottie so as not to awaken her. When Scottie stirred, Licorice gently rocked her to coax her back to sleep, her expression tired and sad. She wished her daughter loved her as much as she did, but she just decided to let things be what they may.

"She talks a lot about you. Miss Beautiful." She bowed her head and jumped in to a huge patch of grass and disappeared. Looking back just a bare moment. Her jade eyes glowing in to a cascade blue. Both were so beautiful.. and they deserve to know to show.. how they cared for one another. Betting that if scottie's mother were to disappear. She knew she'd be sad.

Licorice blinked after the little numa, blushing deeply under her black fur. That was such a random compliment, but it was certainly not unappreciated. Only Beatrice had ever called her beautiful before, and Licorice thought she was biased, but another thought she was - one who did not even know her? Licorice blushed even more, melting a little at the compliment even though the strange numa was no longer around.
She looked down at her sleeping little one, wishing she held the same sentiment instead of continually putting her down. She always thought her daughter was beautiful, but the little one never returned the feeling. Still, Licorice loved her and was very glad she was safe. She called out a final "thank you" to the other black numa in case she was still in earshot before turning and starting back to their tree.

She wanted to jump after them. Ah.. how she wanted to follow... the mother seemed to beautiful not to.. She'd remember her smell and the lil one's too. Hmph. The one thanked her... this was odd. No one had really thanked her for anything before.. Smirking through the grass; jade eyes watched then disappeared.
