"Not until you leave me alone." Reaching back with her leg, Sey aimed a kick for his crotch. Just because she was a White Mage, didn't mean she couldn't fight dirty.

Cail caught Sey's leg between his knees and lifted her up, pinning her hands at her sides and walking towards the desk with all the secretaries hiding behind it and not so gently tossing her onto it, glaring daggers at the old aquaintence.
"Will you just listen to me?!"

"Will you listen to me?!" Sey said, scootching to the edge of the desk and yelling in Cail's face.
"No! Of COURSE not. You've got your head ramned too far up your a** to HEAR ME!"

"Don't you see that I WASN'T fighting anything before you came in here?! UGH!" Frustrated beyond belief, Sey tried to scootch past Cail.
"Just LEAVE ME ALONE!"

He assessed things quickly. It was his job, it was what he did. A glance, a measure of the situation, and he knew what to do. A healer, and some punk roughing her up.
He pushed through the doorway with his shoulder, his pistol was in a double handed grip, leveled right towards Cail's head. His hand was steady, his eye sharp, he was cool and calm, and trained marksman and gunfighter.
"I suggest you put the woman down, and step away."
Good, go and earn some goodie points. Hell, this should look excellent on his application.

"You know I can't do that Sey. Merielle would shoot us both, and Falis knows that you're going to get yourself into more trouble..." Arcturus Highwind "I suggest you put the woman down, and step away." Cail merely looked over his shoulder at the stranger and sighed. "Sweet light they were right. YOU ARE a magnet for trouble!"

Sey took one look at the stranger and frowned her eyes, scootching off the table and getting closer to him; essentially hiding behind him. "Thank you for getting me out of that situation Sir, however..." She grabbed him by the side of the face and kissed him on the cheek, the area where her skin touched his tingling with magic. "... You dare hold a gun to a Paladin of Fais' head again and you're going to have things much worse then just a kiss to deal with." Bob's Favorite Spell arrow Maiden's Kiss - Focusing her holy aura into her lips, Sey kisses a target, negating their magic abilities/barriers/stopping their spell casting and causing sleep in the effected target for a duration of 5 minutes. Being physically attacked wakes the effected target. However, the silence status effect is still in effect for 5 minutes or until cured.Naturally, Sey must be close enough for a kiss to make this spell work. And the closer the kiss is to face, the larger the chance of success.

eek
Cail stood, his mouth agape as Sey kissed the stranger on the cheek, knowning that she infused that kiss with a lot of magic by the hair tingling sensation on the back of his neck.
"... Uh..."

...
Damn. Once again, no good deed goes unpuni- was all his thoughts got to, before he drifted off to sleepyland, collapsing on the floor, his pistol skidding over the granite to about a yard from his outstretched hand.
Yup, he was sound asleep, from the look of it. Regular breathing, no reactions. Intersting thing was his eyes were still open, despite being out.

A few moments after the resounding smack! of a man's body hitting the floor, Elysia peeked out of the nearby stairwell. Nobody had locked it, thankfully. With the sort of incompetent secretaries that were working in the lobby, she had been half afraid that somebody would decide they should protect themselves from internal threats, as well.
She was panting a little (taking seventeen flights of stairs had once been easy, she thought with a bit of sadness) and took a moment to get her breath and figure out the situation.
The second was a bit harder than the first. She waited for the two... awake combatants? to speak, trusting the accoustics of the room to bring most of the conversation to her.

A black cat waltzed into the lobby, ramming through the rotating doors with her head. Why she couldn't bother to go human was her own concern; she was having fun with four legs and fur. It was a lot easier to walk like this, anyway.
She was just in time to see Sey kiss Daniel, and Daniel fall down like a sack of potatoes. Her gut wrenched, her face twisted by an emotion she hadn't felt in a long, long time...
Pure, unadulterated anger.
The invisible golden snakes, forged of mental and magical energy, poured from her body even as it writhed into a viscous black liquid, twisted and reforming into the shape of a woman. Owle's body solidified within a half second, the blue-haired woman standing as tall as her 5'3" would allow, her scale-covered shoulders shaking and her hands clenched into fists. Her light brown eyes were narrowed, staring at the priestess in something akin to hatred.
The invisible, untouchable, unsensible (except by those who could sense magic or telepathy) snakes flooded the room, their bodies undulating around the priestess and the knight. Their tongues flickered in and out of their mouths, hissing their displeasure.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?"
She knew, of course, that the kiss would only make him sleep. It was the why she wanted to know. It was the what would come after, the veiled threat in Sey's voice as Owle had entered. It was everything that she wasn't asking. Her friend was lying there on the floor as though dead, and it was Sey's fault...
Flare had been right. If Seyumi Kaikou had once been her friend, had once been the pure, innocent maiden Owle's faulty memories told her Sey was, the priestess was no longer. Sey had assaulted Daniel...and if the white mage didn't get the hell away from him, may all the gods forgive Owle for what she was about to do.
((I'll try to be around as often as I can so I don't hold you guys up. In return, please don't move the scene too far ahead by ignoring the angry telepath who's like to try to melt both your minds if you make any aggressive motions towards her or Daniel.
...hell, she'd probably even jump on you for unaggressive motions after what she just saw. sweatdrop ))

As soon as Cail dropped to the ground, he unsheathed his daggers, facing Sey defensively. "You know, for some reason throughout this entire fight I just wanted you to kiss me?" He said with a smirk, dancing a bit on the balls of his feet. "But after that little incident, I don't want to know what would happen if I did kiss you." Moving with trained agility, Cail reached around to hit Sey on the head with the flat of his dagger as soon as the cat walked in. Owle Isohos The invisible golden snakes, forged of mental and magical energy, poured from her body even as it writhed into a viscous black liquid, twisted and reforming into the shape of a woman. Cail yelled, jumping infront of Sey and; despite not her being his charge, had the reckless urge to stand infront of her and protect her. "That man just held a GUN to my head. Sey was sensible enough to knock him out." He yelled at the cat-now-woman who just barged in. "This is a quarrel between me and her - what everyone else is doing butting into it is beyond me." He looked at Sey briefly over his shoulder, "You are a magnet for trouble. I swear to Falis..."

Catching Daniel and gently laying him on the ground when he dropped, Sey stood up straight and blinked at Cail's words. He wanted to WHAT!? But when Owle walked in, those thoughts were pushed aside, and instincts came into play. Sey's reaction became more... Defensive. With Cail attacking her, Daniel pointing a GUN to his head when she only wanted to knock Cail out, and Owle barging inside with her snakes ready to tear their brains apart, she wasn't a very happy camper. "Cail-AUGH!" She blinked as the flat of the dagger stopped inches away from her face and Cail turned around, standing infront of her. Grabbing onto his back and despite the intense yet useless casting she had been doing, Sey let her instincts guide her. "Falis protect your Scions." She whispered, as a barrier formed around Cail, encompassing her body as well. As long as she stayed near him they'd both be fine. "Owle, he's merely asleep. He isn't hurt at all. He thought that Cail was trying to kill me, though he isn't." She said, pinching his back. "We're having a bit of a... Friendly Falician dispute. Paladin and White Mage deal only. The relationship is very complicated... Obviously." She said, staring at the back of Cail's light brown head. "You can take the man... Just don't do anything hasty." Spell arrow Rune Refraction - A holy barrier forms around a target, reflecting offensive spells and telekinetic attacks back at the caster. Rune Refraction cannot reflect area based spells; only spells focused solely at the target which Rune Refraction has been cast. Rune Refraction is dispelled after a major hit from an offensive spell or telekinetic attack. Spell duration 5 minutes

"I don't care..." Owle hissed at Cail. "About the two of you. Whatever your quarrel is, I'd suggest doing it somewhere more private than the lobby of a public corporation..."
Sey's explanation didn't calm her, much. But the snakes shifted, seeming less ready to kill, and more ready to defend their maker, and the tension in Owle's shoulders relaxed visibly.
"Step away from that man, both of you. I'll do nothing to either of you, so long as you let me take him from here unharmed."
She waited patiently for the two of them to move far enough away so that she wouldn't be within Cail's sword range when she bent over to pick Daniel up. Her feelings told her to trust Miss Sey...but she didn't know to trust anything anymore.
