Deformography I drove past that CPC again yesterday; their website is www.LCCE.org. Check it out, it's seriously disturbing (but at least they don't lie about being unbiased; they admit to being anti-choice). Check out the "epidemic" page. *cough* They're Pregnancy page ends at "10 weeks" *esplodes at the Epidemic page*

I saw about three of those billboards on my way home from Alexandria today.
Two about embryo's being babies, and one about unborn babies feeling pain.
Ohhh, I remembered that a couple years ago I saw a billboard on Dale & University and I called the number. It was after hours, however, so it rang and rang. I hung up, and my phone said "call aborted."
How I laughed.

Yi Min There is a new pro-life billboard down the street from my University. It has a picture of a smiling baby and says "Before I was even born, I could SMILE!" confused But babies can't smile until several weeks after a full-term birth. There muscles just aren't developed enough. confused

There muscles just aren't developed enough. confused They can technically smile right after birth, but they don't really mean to. In the early weeks/first couple of months, a smile is actually an expression of pain, more like a grimace. They aren't able to actively smile because they're content until around 2 months. So maybe the little precious baby smiling in the womb is actually in excruciating pain, its hard to say.

Deformography A Pro-Life Across America billboard said it, so it must be true! I was in downtown Saint Paul on Monday, and I saw three of those disgusting billboards. Three! There even used to be one by my house, but then it was replaced by a Humane Society billboard. There's also a "crisis pregnancy center" not to far from my house, but I forgot their website. So, one of the other billboards had a bunch of babies on it and said something about being the nation's greatest resource (like oil!), which shows me that lifers need to stop whining at US about dehumanizing "teh pweshous babys." The other said something like "Grandma says that I have daddy's eyes!" It was all appeal to emotion bullshit. Isn't the pro-life movement capable of any other fallacies? C'mon, ya one trick ponies! Let's just send 'em to the dog food factory. Buddy's hungry. Yes, since when are we the nations greatest resource? Maybe for the homeless to eat... you know, there must be a use for them after you abort the fetus...such a waste...such a waste..I approve of your idea about the dog food factory lol lol

..Le Chat du Noir.. I don't think the Pro-Choice movement is about dehumanizing the "unborn child," as a bumper stick put it. It's about humanizing women... Spiral Out What kind of help I can only imagine. I should go there as a parent and see if they want to help out a born child. Tell me how it goes... Or walk in (you're a teen, right?) with a kid and ask for help. My jaw will drop all the way to Australia if they give you more than a Bible and a business card. lol In my opinon, instead of focusing on PREGNANT women, they should focus on women with children ALREADY BORN.
