This is my first Gaia Christmas and I think it's been pretty neato.

The first day was buggy (seems to be standard with any site that runs events), but I found that caroling in towns during the day is so much easier than at night (for me).

It took me a while to realize that there were only 2 gifts form santa and zurg so I have 4 of the star things and 3 water meat bags as well as 2 cow hats, I stopped at 1 set of horns. Took too long, but I may go back in for another set of horns.

For some unknown reason, those water meat bags make me gag. I have stashed mine out of sight because I cant stand to look at it. Dont know why but it just......ewwwww *shudders*

the water meat is freaky looking! but the lucky stars are fab! and seeing as they're the first item i shall gather them for each account if i can 3nodding
i got 2 and have sent one over to Daisy because i think she'll look pretty wearing it 3nodding
i agree Jess about the santa boxes, the ones from the stores will look pretty unopened though 3nodding i shall store some in Caia's house when the event is done, as she has a warm theme and they'll go well whee

i got my first set but i don't know if i going to get another i had 2 stars, 2 cow hats, and 2 horns and one meat thing it's sitting on my head. i whering most of my 2006 2k stuff.

I have a set of the items from the event and finally got a full set from caroling. I do want to get a set with my mules and then I'm done.

The explaination of the event is a bit misleading... once you give out 5 gifts, you get an event item:
5 cow santa gifts = cow santa hat
5 more cow santa gifts delivered = bull horns
5 zurg santa gifts = lucky stars (the yellow glowing things)
5 more zurg santa gifts = water meat plushie thing
... repeat as desired.

Then, caroling through the stores gets you a gift box for every 10 carols. In the boxes are (not necessarily in the correct order): boots, gloves, gift bag, hat, scarf, corsage, mistletoe, and..... something else that I'm completely blanking on right now. the candycane. There are threads in the event forum that list the items, in order.


..... when does the event end, though?

I thought I read January 2 but maybe I'm wrong. I'm working today with MP here at work and have 2 of 8 boxes already. I'm working on Lemon, sweet and honnie at home and have 3 of 8 boxes there I believe so I should be done tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
