Quickly Shaquire grabbed to two packs from the table and opened a drawer, he searched through it for some time for good batteries. He mumbled curses under his breath when he found a handful dead, somebody can't tell the difference between the drawer and garbage."Finally," he said finally finding two full powered 9volts, putting them into the packs and hurrying back. "Where is Spencer? I didn't see him before..." Of the three he had left the other's boy's mic was one just given a fresh battery.

"I'm sorry spencer, but yes. We need to make sure it fits and fix it if it doesn't. Besides you're the only one left." Micheal closed his eyes as he felt his migraine coming on. " Besides," Micheal had small bouts of playfullness when his medicine started to wear off " You look cute in your little costume."

Zak rounded the corner, silky black hair whisking out behind him, to hear Michael talking - yes, talking. It was amazing that there was a time when this man didn't yell - to an actor. Spencer. Lucky for Zak, no? Now he just had to wait for the the other to make the other open up instead of having to do it himself.

Spencer sharply turned his face away from the mirror so he wouldn't have to look at his light blush that spilled across his cheeks. "Shut up," he said, a scowl obvious in his tone, but he came to his feet anyway. He moved over to the door, a clicking noise following indicating he was unlocking the door. It only opened a few inches and the actor peeked through, his mixture of a sneer and a pout as an expression. "I'll only come out if someone besides Cindy makes some coffee. Hers always tastes like dirt mixed into water."

Micheal leaned against the doorframe when he heard the door unlocking. He smiled coyly at the actor. " Tell you what, stud. Get through your fitting and sound check without anymore lip and I'll make you my special coffee." Luckily the creepy version of thier stage manager was about to leave as Micheal reached in his pocket for his migraine pills.

"I never gave any lip in the first place," Spencer mumbled under his breath in objection, finally opening his door the rest of the way. Even if the coffee did taste awful, it had been one of the only things to keep him moving these past couple days. But the idea of getting Michael's 'special coffee' sounded too tempting for him to just remain in his room today. "Ok, I'm out. Where to first?"

The moment the door was opened, Zak stepped up. "I took the bother to come looking for you, so here is fine," he said, trying to keep his irritation from his voice. "You're the last one, you know that? Even if some of the others yelled at me, at least they didn't lock the door!" he said, looking quite peeved. "I don't need that much from you, actually. Just some final measurements that didn't get done earlier."

Micheal smiled at the little intern. " Spencer you will be with Zaky for a little then you will report to Shaq for your mic and sound test. " Micheal removed a pill from the bottle before replacing the bottle in his pocket. Then you'll report to me for that... special coffee I promised. " Micheal licked his lips lightly, winked at Spencer, and began to walk away. He popped his pill and continued handing out duties as if nothing happened.

Spencer stayed silent even after Zak had finished his little rant. His eyes lowered to the floor and it almost looked as if he felt sorry. But his next actions indicated otherwise. He suddenly stepped back into his room as his hand moved to swiftly shut the door once more. His back pressed against the door in case he tried to reopen it. "Looks like they won't get done right now then either," he said.

Zak scowled at the nickname. He was seventeen and way passed the time when anyone should be calling him "Zaky." He muttured something under his breath as the manager departed, but not loud enough for his words to be heard. Then he rumaged around in his pocket until he found some pins; he already had the other's costume and the tape measure held securely in his other hand. He looked up to find the door swinging shut in his face. Making a sound in frustration that was half growl and half swearing, he hammered on the other's door. Loudly. "Open up, Spencer, or I'm telling Michael!!"

He kept his back firmly pushed against the door, not only hearing but feeling the pounding on the door. It was the second time in less than half an hour he had heard it. "Tattling?" Spencer asked. "Isn't that a grade school thing, Zak? Please.. Besides, I may have done what you wanted if you had only asked nicely about it. Not starting off by yelling at me."

Zak, now fuming, retorted, "It's not tattling. It's called trying to get the job done." He was becoming increasingly less fond of actors every second. Maybe his mother had been right and he should have just stuck with sewing for her in the stoor, instead. His scowl deapened as he continued, "Anyway, you're an actor. How would you like it to have to perform without a costume while everyone else is dressed? Or, worse, to have to be replaced because of your stubborness."

Further putting on his mask of reluctance, Spencer shrugged not realizing Zak couldn't see it. "I would say you would be fired before that would happen for failing to get my costume in time," he said. Though he actually knew it would take a lot more than that to get Zak fired. He was one of the best costume makers in the theater. "And I wouldn't be replaced, either. It would take way too long for anyone else to learn my lines. Nice try, Zaky." He had noticed before how it had filled the boy with irritation. It would be a good sort of ammunition to use, he thought.

Zak made a hissing sound of irritation and he brought his fist fown on the door more forcefully intended, making his hand thup with pain after the resounded smash. "Crap," he muttured, massaging his hurt hand. He really needed to keep his hands in good condition or he really might get fired. He sighed, not having the stamina to keep yelling at the other - how did Michael ever keep that up? - and instead turned his back to slump against the door. "You make me really angry, you know that? I don't understand why all the actors seem to be such jerks..." He muttured the last part under his breath, more to himself than to the other.

Micheal appeared and saw the commotion Zak spilled against the door. He came up to Zak with his pill kicked in. " Why are you sitting against the door? Is Spencer being bad again? " Micheal frowned and sighed a little. " What measurements exactly do you need to get?" Micheal pulled out a tape measure used in clothes design and draped it over his shoulders. If need be, he knew how to take mesurements."
