Mine really looks nothing like me. First and most importantly, I am a girl! I just happen to like the guy avas better, because they don't look as... how can I say it... Brittany Spears-ish.
The skin tone is the same, but I have brown eyes and black hair (think hispanic) that is short crying (My mom forced me to cut 8 inches off, now up to my shoulders) and curly. I also don't have a tail or look like a reindeer...

My avatar was an accident... I clicked join before I modified it and so I got stuck with what was on the screen originally. I did wind up buying different hair later on... it doesn't look like mine, I just thought it was cute.
The clothes are based on clothes I used to like to wear. It's pretty much the younger me: I went through this colored tights with shorts and vests stage when I was in middle school or so (which is like 12 years ago now...eep!). So the avatar outfit is a nostalgia trip for me. smile

Not anymore. It used to... My hair is the right color, but it's longer in real life, and wavy. My eyes are brown (there aren't really any brown eyes on Gaia), and I'd never wear clothes like this. xd

I would say that my avitar is a representation of me. Not necessarily a physical one, but more of a mental one. This is how I see myself. But even that isn't quite right. It is difficult to explain.
The manner of dress is definitely how I would dress if I could ever find a pair of thigh high boots that fit sweatdrop And the eyes, though lighter than mine, are one of my better features when I wear contact lenses.

I would love pink hair and blue eyes however I dont have them. And I would love to dress Kawaii every day but i dont have the money to go buy tons of kawaii accessories and outfits.
But I am the same height weight, and boob size At least I think lol.

I'd look like this if I could afford it, I always wished I could wear a monicle, but my eyelashes are too long for it. I love wearing a suit.
Masks and capes though would be a lil excessive.
