...I'd worry that fights might develop over that role, except that they're more likely to develop over the Cheshire Cat. gonk

I'm not at all interested in the Cheshire Cat role since I saw Whoopi Goldberg suck at it so terribly.

Ah, yes, but you see, there are around four people in the guild so far who claim loyalty to the cat. *wise nod* I happen to love the book's version of the cat, but I don't think I'd be the best actor for the role, so I'm not nominating myself for it. ^^ The Duchess's bipolar rude crankiness tempered with her agreeable nature is something I enjoy doing. As seen in some of my RP post. sweatdrop Poor mcm, having to put up with all that...

I think I would be fairly well-suited to play myself, in this... movie? What is a movie, exactly? Perhaps a newfangled word for the theatre... but then, why not call it "theatre"? In my day, we said what we meant and meant what we said, and always with a porpoise... oh, time...
But I suppose if I couldn't take part in a movie, on account of only being a Mock Turtle and all, the Raven girl could probably portray me decently.

*starts singing*
"Will you walk a little faster?" said a whiting to a snail. "There's a porpoise close behind us, and he's treading on my tail. See how eagerly the lobsters and the turtles all advance! They are waiting on the shingle - will you come and join the dance? Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance? Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the dance?
"You can really have no notion how delightful it will be When they take us up and throw us, with the lobsters, out to sea!" But the snail replied "Too far, too far!" and gave a look askance - Said he thanked the whiting kindly, but he would not join the dance. Would not, could not, would not, could not, would not join the dance. Would not, could not, would not, could not, could not join the dance.
"What matters it how far we go?" his scaly friend replied. "There is another shore, you know, upon the other side. The further off from England the nearer is to France - Then turn not pale, beloved snail, but come and join the dance. Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance? Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the dance?"

If it's going to be just a remake of the classic story, I think that we should first off, stop using teen actors. Alice is seven years old, and I'm getting tired of teens being used. XD Though I realize that not many seven year olds have great acting skills, couldn't we go with at least a 10 year old?
If there were an American McGee's Alice movie made, it shouldn't be anyone known for horror movies. It should definately be a new talent with a grim face.
That's my two cents about the girl who should play Alice. whee

The first actor grin that comes to mind when I think of the Cheshire Cat is..
JACK NICHOLSON!
And...
His grin is MAD!
The only problem I might have with him... is that he's a little old.
But, I dont really mind that at all.
It's his grin!
And I can see him insanely quoting.
"We're all mad here... I'm mad. You're mad."

Well - I'd like to see the Looking Glass Wars made into a movie... and I think John Cusack should play Hatter M.
Alice has to be played by new talent.... in any new version of the movie.
