"No!" Yaru snapped and turned, grabbing his wrist, his face scowling. "Don't you dare touch this blindfold for any reason!" He let go and adjusted it himself. "There's a reason I wear it, why everyday must you try and touch it?' He leaned away from him a bit, his cheeks red. "Is it some kind of obsession with you?"

"Obsession?" he beamed, but then he waved dismissively. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Even before he finished the sentence he was with one hand attempting to remove Tristan's underwear (If he hadn't gone running for the hills by this point) and with the other once again going for Yaru's blindfold.
"I can stop any time I want," he laughed, easily, waiting for one of them to either 'put his foot down' or surrender, or hit him. Whichever came first. smile
It was an odd sort of game, to him.

"Stop this right now you jerk!" He shouted and kicked him in the side, moving back quickly in time to catch the blindfold as it fell and re-tye it. He stood up and began to walk off. "You are such a child, doing things jsut to get a rise of of people!" His manner of walking away was almsot daring the other to come after him.

"Yaru!"
That was a pretty good kick and actually sent him tumbling into the water, and he came up sputtering. That's when he shouted his name.
He shot Tristan an apologetic smile and promised, "I'll be back for those," pointing to the boy's shorts before taking off after Yaru. "Will you wait up? I'm sorry!"
Was he always so touchy?

He stopped and sighed. "I tell you everday and everday you try. Why is is so important to see what is under my blindfold? I told you already what it was." He sat down under a tree, seeming to be watching a few dancers. "Forgive me for not wishing to parade my injury around."

Tristan watched and listened to Dust and Yaru arguing over the bindfold he wore. When Yaru walked away, he lifted himself out of the water nad followed slowly. He sat with his back against the same tree as Yaru, staring up at the sky. He spoke in his soft dark voice of something that he wanted, no, needed to know."You used to be a fighter didn't you? If you're worried about scars under that blindfold, I know of some herbs that will heal any scars, even if they've been there for a lifetime. Why do you think know one knows my secret yet. I use them on my wounds after every fight. I just wish I could be myself in the arena instead of being Sebastion Threne." he sighed heavily and turned himself around eneough to look at Yaru."dreams are things that cannot be obatained by cheating, but there are shortcuts, give us a chance, you might find we can be helpful." he waved his right hand over his left thigh and one of the cards in the holster there lifted out and floated in front of Yaru. He twisted and spun his hand, causing the card to zoom out and pass by Shiyaa, almost beconin him to follow.

He didn't say anything right away, instead sitting next to him under the tree and resting his head on Yaru's shoulder.
"Because there's nothing you need to hide from me, Yaru, nothing," he said softly, barely above a whisper.
And then Tristan began to speak of herbs... and he wanted to know just how powerful these medicines were, if they could heal his friend's blindness... when the card went by, he looked back to Tristan, wondering where the boy was keeping them...

Oh, who am I kidding? He'd have to ask.
Crawling toward the boy, temporarily abandoning Yaru he'd have to ask, in a conspiratory whisper, "Hey... um, Tristan? ...Where were you keeping that?" he asked, waving vaguely in the direction the card had gone.

"I appriciate the offer, but I do not wish to be free of them. They are a reminder to me of my goal. Healing the scars will not heal the humilation I now ednur due to something I did not do!" He said and turned to face him, snatching a card and holding it, tunring it slowly in his fingers. "I was betrayed, played the fool. . .framed. Now I'm trying to gain back some of that lost dignity and respect." The former fighter sighed and let the card go, leaning back against the tree.
"I know I have nothing to hide from you, my friend, but I still do not feel comfortable removing it, even for you." He didn't mean for it to sound cold.

He shifted and sat cross-legged, facing Yaru next to Tristan, now. "That's fine," he nodded. "It just... You should talk about it, really."
Then he broke into a grin. "Don't worry, if anyone scars and humiliates me, you'll be the first I spill my guts to. Fair's fair," he nodded as though something had just been settled and decided upon.

((Sorry I have't posted. Been away from home for a few days ^_^;; wink )
Shiyaa listened and watched the to quietly. They were quite amusing, he thought as he chewed gently on his pointer finger. His feet were still in the water, although he was starting to get irratated by it. He pulled his feet out, sitting with his knees to his chest.

Tristan's card danced and drifted in front of Shiyaa for a moment before returning to him and as he slipped his hand over the holster on his thigh, the card returned to it's place."does that answer your question?" he asked quietly of Dust. He looked over his shoulder at Yaru and whispered, "I'm sorry to here that you don't want my hep but if you'd like your sight baack, there's a potion that can be made from the berries of a snakevine to remedy blindness to a mild degree."You'd be able to see again, albeit not very well." he just smiled, whether Yaru could see him or not.

"Card sharp, herbologist, dancer, warrior, is there any profession you haven't taken for a test-drive?" Dust asked, friendly and teasing him a bit on the outside, but curious and suspicious in the inside.
"Oh, and yes, I see now, about the cards. Clever gadget, didn't even notice it before." He looked back up into Tristan's face, pulling his gaze away from the boy's inner thigh. "One of these days you'll have to teach me how to do that, just as soon as I find out what you want."

"Yes actually. I've never been someone's lover. I've never had that chance. Not sure if it counts as a profession or not but that's something I haven't done yet." he placed his hands on his thighs and pushed himself upw ith his feet. As he stood, he started to sing a song that he'd written a few years ago.
"Break my heart and shatter my dreams Leave what's left behind for me to find Go ahead and break my heart Break it to pieces 'til it falls apart That's what it's there for after all Broken hearts and broken dreams Seems to be all I know Mislead dreams and your wicked schemes Dance in my mind when I close my eyes I'm a broken boy now Is this really how it's meant to be?"
He dived back into the water and swam back across to where his clothes lay. Lifting himself from the water on the other side, his boxers slid down a bit without him realizing it. He walked off into a small grove empty of fighters and removed his boxers so he could wring the water from them. He peeked his head around one of the trees and grinning at Dust, he waved his now dried boxers at him. Hiding behind the trees once more, he dressed again and after finding a place where the stream narrowed enough, he came out and jumped the narrow part of the stream and returned to his place beside Dust.

Dust watched Tristan swim away, and he was watching when the boy pulled himself up onto the opposite bank. Now, his eyes weren't popping out of his skull, and his jaw wasn't on the floor. He wasn't drooling either, he was just watching him... What can he say? He found Tristan to be entirely worth looking at.
As for the comments about Lovers... he wasn't entirely sure what Tristan had meant by that... "Not sure what to tell you there, about Lovers," grinning at Tristan's return, having watched the boy's entire show. Surely Tristan couldn't have meant he was a virgin, with all the Fighters drooling over his dancing body a short while ago... he must have meant he'd never been in love with someone.
He looked back to Shiyaa and brightened, saying, "Lovers are far less complicated than swimming lessons."
And then he seemed to have a sudden thought and looked back to Tristan. "And hey, can I borrow those boxers? Take 'em for a test-swim?"
Looking back to Shiyaa he clarified, "That way we'll both be trying something new," with his insufferable cheerful attitude.
