I like Rin. She's cute and I somehow have this theory about her (and Kohaku) being Kagome's ancestor(s). Not too sure how this thought came to me, but I always thought Rin sort of looked like Kagome and she seems to be extremely concerned about Kohaku's wellfare (alternatively, Kohaku seems fiercely protective of her... hm...)

I just wished Takahashi stopped putting her through the grinding machine. *cough*latestmangachapters*cough* The poor girl's already gone through too much, so give her a little bit of respite.

I'm totally with you on the whole concept of Rin being Kagome's ancestor (though my belief in that it's because of the similarities between the two - out of all the characters, only Kagome and Rin have ever approached a youkai without being super freaked out/ immediately hesitant - i.e. - Kagome tweaked Inuyasha's ears and Rin dumped water on Sesshoumaru's head - that last one really makes me giggle).
And the fact that Kohaku was ressurected by Kikyou's light makes me believe all the more that he and Rin will hook up and begin the Higurashi bloodline (I know that re-incarnation is not restricted to a particular bloodline; but the fact that Kikyou's light now resides in Kohaku, and Kagome was born with Kikyou's soul - it just adds up, I think).
