Misha's smile was stronger this time and she shook her head. Briiva's renewed calm reinforced her own control. It also helped considerably to have the wound more fully covered. She reached across Briiva's body to better adjust the lay of the make-shift bandage. "I'll be fine," she insisted. "I'm just not going to be carrying you princess-style. Besides would you rather I go hunt someone down so they can yell at us for sparring without supervision?"

Though, when she thought about the options, Misha wondered if she could find Brian and if he would yell at her before agreeing to use his wonderfully useful muscles to get Briiva to her room. Or call in a favor from Zebulon for the cot? Or would Rob be able to lift the other woman?

She shook her head again and shifted to crouch. "All you have to do is lean on me and we'll get you there."

Briiva grunted through the pain, taking Misha's help to get back on her feet. Her shoulder had dulled to a throbbing, or that could be blood loss; Briiva wasn't entirely sure. "Ugh, hopefully my roommate isn't back there. I think he would flip if he sees me coming back like this." Briiva gave out a painful chuckle, walking slowly with Misha. Her strength had come back a little now that the initial shock of the blow had faded, but she was still shaken about her reaction to the pain. She couldn't afford to lose control like that in a situation like the Alps, or else she might do more damage than good.

The thought didn't sit well with Briiva, and she frowned, chewing her lips as they made their way to her dorm. Still, she couldn't say that she was upset about the outcome. Misha was quite quick and precise, the fact that Briiva had more or less held her own under that gave her some hope. She would definitely have to continue practicing once her shoulder healed. For now though, Briiva let her mind drift off of combat, instead finding herself focusing on Misha. Briiva colored realizing that she was pressed against her for support, as if she hadn't been doing that all along. She smiled to herself, hoping that she wasn't too obvious.

If Misha noticed Briiva's sudden quiet and increased color, she said nothing as she focused on trying to get the back to the Hephaestus dorm as quickly and safely as possible. Her arm ached a bit from holding the other woman upright, coming so soon after swinging a sword around - unfamiliar action equaling unknown muscle groups being used and all. To offset the weight and strain on her arm, Misha pulled Briiva more firmly against her side as they mounted the steps to the dorm.

She had already decided her tank top was going to be a total loss, anyway. More or less blood on it would not change that fact.

"Almost there, Briiva," she said in encouragement. "Just point me toward the right room." The moment Briiva complied with that request, Misha altered direction and got them both, stumbling, to the door and through it. "And he? Your roommate's a guy?"

"Yeah, I got roomed with a guy. But it's just a connected bathroom, and we haven't had any trouble yet. Helps that we share certain hobbies. Hey Davor, you in here? Don't mind me or the blood!" Briiva chuckled, wincing. If he was here, it ought to freak him out plenty. Or too much. Briiva realized that she really didn't know much about him yet besides his occupation, and was now really hoping that she hadn't said anything to offend him. Hopefully, if there was an issue it would just be chalked up to delirium.

Briiva also was not lost on the fact that she had been pulled tighter to her escort for stability, a fact she took advantage of by holding on just a bit tighter. Briiva was sure that Misha wasn't feeling too great herself, but for now the feeling of being supported was to nice to just let go and flop unceremoniously into her bed for.

In true Davor fashion, he'd made quick work of locking himself away in his room after the events of the Chosens' first mission in the Alps. After a life of relative peace, finally, since moving here -- well, it had been a lot to take in so soon. He'd been keeping himself at a steady, comfortable buzz precisely to ensure he didn't take in all that much of the experience. He didn't want to think about how this might be his new life, and that he wasn't exactly sure he wanted it after all.

Unfortunately, as it always seems to, trouble came a-knockin'.

Briiva's voice carried over easily into his room, quiet as it was, and an eye slipped blearily open at the sound of his name... before both shot open, wide in surprise at the mention of blood. Horrified that he might have missed something because he decided to doze about all day, Davor pulled himself onto his feet and had at least enough foresight to grab a coat to pull on as he tromped through the bathroom and all but threw the door open, all business.

...There was blood, all right. And Briiva was shirtless, and the two woman were all but entangled in each other. He fought the urge to, instinctively, walk right back out and close the door but there was still blood and that was what he had to focus on. Davor confronted them quickly, an edge to his voice cutting through even the haze of mild intoxication. "What happened?" His alarmed gaze flicked between the two woman, to the wound on Briiva's shoulder, and back again.

Misha looked up at the low, growling voice to see Davor, all bleary and big in the doorway. She offered a sheepish grin that fell on the side of charmingly embarrassed. "Hi. Briiva and I got to sparring and we found that, if you hit each other enough times with a dulled blade, even the Godly mojo shield will give up the ghost. Whoops?"

She refocused on trying to hold Briiva in place so she could clean the wound; the woman would insist on reaching for her alcohol and it was starting to get annoying. "Briiva, if you don't hold still, swear to God, I'm going to tie you to the bed." Misha risked another glance back up at Davor and smiled again. "I'm Misha, by the way. Aphrodite Chosen."

"Of course I'm reaching for some alcohol, I need to sterilize the damn wound!" Briiva reached out fore a nearby bottle as best she could before giving Davor a leading look and pointing under her bed. "Davor, could you- goddammit!- sorry, look under there, please. Should be a- ow, ********! Medical bag somewhere down there. It's all red and s**t, hard to miss." Briiva hissed as Misha tried to get here to cooperate. "I bet you would want to tie me up regardless. And could the intros maybe wait until- after I'm patched up?"

Finally managing to swipe a bottle, Briiva pulled the cap off with her teeth, poured a generous amount over the wound along with a string of curses. Of course, as soon as the curses stopped briiva gulped down as much as she could before the bottle ciuld be pulled away from her.

Blades. Of course. Who thought it would be a good idea to give swords out like candy...? Davor suppressed a shudder at the thought of it, returning Misha's grin with what could be best described as a stern dad-stare. Especially at the "tying up" comment. Not exactly in the mood for introductions, still too harried by the blood and thoughts of blades swinging about, he gratefully followed Briiva's direction.

It was maybe a little awkward, having to maneuver halfway under the bed and with only one arm to search around with to boot, but sure enough, the red bag was an easy find. Davor pulled the kit out and straightened, holding it out for the two like an especially grumpy nurse as he continued eyeing the wound. Any deeper and she may as well have had her whole arm chopped off. Ha ha.

"Thank you." Misha sighed and set the bottle she had rescued from Briiva as far away as she could manage. Then she patted the bed near her. She had totally felt the Dad Stare. To be honest, she knew it was justified. She shouldn't have let Briiva convince her to head dorm-wards.

"Please set it down and I swear I tried to get her to let me take her to Rafe." The moment Davor settled the case on the bed, Misha reached over to snap it open and stared at the contents. Her basic first aid certifications only took her so far. She was at a bit of a loss here. Looking at Briiva and then at Davor, she sighed. "Okay so I'll be nurse if either of you want to be doctor?"

"He saw to my injuries after we went to the Alps, no thanks, I'm not that bed yet." Briiva chuckled, doing her best to not move her shoulders. She strained to look at her injury, then motioned to Davor with her other hand. "Look for a packet in there labeled Hemostat. Just tear a packet open, pour it on the cut and apply pressure for, uh-" Briiva looked at her shoulder again, trying to gauge the severity. "********, five minutes. And use the whole pack."

Briiva dropped her head into her pillow, gritting her teeth. Her shoulder ached even as she did her best to occupy her mind elsewhere. She was lucky that whatever protection they had as Chosen has saved her limb, the force that Misha had attacked with under normal circumstances would have done enough damage to warrant an amputation. Briiva was glad that wasn't required though, but hey, at least she had a prostheses specialist if that had happened, right? The thought made briiva laugh, then groan as she jerked her shoulder.

Well, s**t. Davor was never made field medic for a reason -- he was usually the one who needed patching up, and at the moment, he didn't exactly have two arms to work with. Also, he was still still somewhat feeling that alcohol he'd been so shamelessly imbibing earlier. Also also, as he rummaged through the bag and paused to check out whatever he grabbed, he found himself struggling to read the packaging. The English letters that looked similar to the more-familiar Cyrillic characters only muddled things further.

There was a good chance he looked like an imbecile right about now, but that was beside the point. Briiva was hurting and he felt his frustration mounting. "Hemostat?" He held up a packet he'd scrounged out for confirmation, before tearing it open with his teeth and dutifully doing as he'd been told, pouring the contents onto the nasty gash as he instructed nurse Misha: "Get the, eeh..." What was the word for it? Gauze, gauze was what he was thinking of, something better and certainly more sterile than a bloodied shirt; he reiterated: "Pressure." Davor couldn't help but wonder if Briiva had grown delirious with blood-loss, her laughter putting him more on edge than he already was.

"Got it." Misha wondered briefly at Davor's awkwardness and choice to tear the packet with his teeth but, when it came down to brass tacks, her attention swung back to Briiva and her wound almost immediately. With her free hand, she fished out some lengths of clean gauze. Then she bit her lip, braced herself, and applied the sterile fabric to the freshly-treated wound. The wad of gauze caught and immediately soaked up traces of blood and she watched Briiva's face intently as she slowly increased pressure to the area. She did not want to hurt the other woman but the importance of pressure was undeniable. Even if she hadn't known it herself, Davor's firm gaze reinforced it.

Misha tried a bright smile on Briiva. "So five minutes, huh?" she asked. "Looks like we'll have to keep you occupied and still so we can do this a couple of ways. We can go over how a great-sword is a bad idea or you can tell me about your childhood or we can sing campfire songs ooooor..." She glanced at Davor, including him in the smile. "I really am sorry about this. It's not the way I like to meet people and make friends. I almost never mortally wound people I like. Honest!"
