Tragedy ridden, never fit in, and dead now
A life gone so quickly, would it knock at the door?
Fidgeting itty bitty master watches “Oh what an ugly tale

Ashton was walking though the market when he heard a commotion from one of the stalls and seeing a small crowd gather he walked to the edge calmly observing what was going to happen with a slightly raised eyebrow as the woman with the scarf seemed vaguely familiar to him from somewhere but he was not to certain. Deciding to ignore it after a short moment of looking he turned and walked towards the exit of the town onto Hyrule Field planning on taking a trip into the castle town and to the castle to formally introduce himself

Sprawling and crawling down the body and throat
Melting away the decaying and beaten down heart
Drink in and sink in every bit of your life
I’m hungry for your eyes

❂Takir of the Sheikah❂

Location: Lost Woods

Takir found herself somewhat surprised that the cabin was so homely inside. Her own house was rather empty, as she generally only went there to sleep. Heeding the other Sheikah's offer to sit anywhere, she padded over to the couch and sat on the arm of the furnishing, crossing her legs. ”Your house is nice,” she said, looking around. She liked the idea of having a small home. Her two story was too big for a single person, having been meant to house an entire tribe of Sheikah. There were seven empty bedrooms, as she chose to sleep in the loft. She found herself thinking again that she would likely not return there for a long time. Oddly enough, they weren't sad thoughts. She'd longed to make contact with others of her kind, kept from doing so under her own obligation to protecting her home village. 'Honor thy dead.' she had sworn to keep the spirit of her tribe alive by continuing work in their stead.

But now that facade was washed away, and she had succumb to her own boiling frustrations against the lifestyle. She wanted to leave Hyrule, always had. She hated the idea of wasting her days serving a family that had never once seen her face. Her mentor had told her to pace herself, train, and then decide her own fate when she was strong enough to rise and meet it. She supposed that she had risen to meet said fate, but wasn't sure what it was.

When her companion sat down and posed the question of her training, she was torn from her thoughts. Turning to sit cross legged on the arm of the couch, she tucked her thick white fringe away from her eyes. ”My tribe was very small, even before the Hylian war. After all the losses, myself and another girl my age were only youths left in the village. There were five elders, and no one left for me to wed, as all the boys had gone to fight and died in the war. My mentor was also the mentor of my father and mother, who were included in the losses. He thought it best to train us in the art of the spear, because it was traditional in my tribe.” She looked down, picking at the seam on the side of her pant-leg. ”The last elder died last summer. You're the only other warrior I've seen since.”

She found herself oddly comfortable talking to the light haired man. She enjoyed talking to people, but had never opened up much about her own past before. She suspected that their shared bloodline was partially the cause, as she'd always been more comfortable around her tribe-kin than the other people in Kakariko. ”What's your story, then?” Takir looked up at him, crimson gaze bright and curious. She was eager to learn about the ways of other Sheikah. Perhaps there were others out there that weren't simply servants to the Royal Family.

Princess Ashieth

Moving through the markets, Ash happily hummed a small tune to herself as she looked around at all the people and places. "A thief! Someone get the guards! A thief!" A voice called out not far off. Ash knew that she should have turned and gone in the other direction to avoid the guards that would recognize her, but something about that voice... it was.. familiar somehow.

Adjusting her hood to make sure that it stayed lowered, Ash moved swiftly, her bare feet making no noise as she closed the gap between the scene from the call and where she had been. A lady dressed in foreign clothes stood facing one of the merchants, her back to Ash. She knew that it was unlikely for either of the two to listen to her since she was a child, but it was her duty to help her kingdom and it's people. Even if it was for something as small as this.

Taking a breath to ready herself, Ash stepped forward stopping roughly a foot at the woman's side, not looking up for a fear of revealing her face. "Please, I'm sure this can be settled." Ash spoke calmly her power kicking in to tell her exactly what had happened to cause the uproar. "Sir, you always sell your cakes for four rupees. Just because she appears to be from out of town you can not raise the price specifically for her. I ask you to please fix this and give our new arrival an apology." Ash spoke in a calm and kind voice. Should the need arise, Ash was prepared to use her magic, but wasn't planning on resorting to that unless needed. With any luck, the merchant would apologize and give the woman her correct change.

Theodwin nodded his head some to her comment about his house, he then sat there silently as he listened to her story. He was familiar with the Hylian war, it was around the time he was first assigned as a junior trainer. It was one of the reasons he thought they assigned him as such, too many young trainees and not enough trainers. While most of the warriors who left for the war, many did return, some of were wounded but recovered mostly in time. As she came to the end of her story, he had a feeling what she was going to ask from him next and he dreaded it some. Afraid that bringing up those old memories would rile the darkness within him up, make it remember what it was like when it forced him to kill. He looked at her as the dreaded question came, he took a deep breath before he stood up. He moved over to the bookcase and slid a couple books to the side, that were hiding a capped bottle with a thick and dark liquid in it. He pulled the cap off and took a short drink from it, closing his eyes some as he sat it back down.

"My clan's training camp is out on the fringes of the land, like I said earlier. Our clan has the luxury of being able to choose who we would serve, each warrior once done with training could either remain with the camp and become a trainer. If there was need for more trainers, choose a royal family to guard or choose to become wanderers, helping those they encounter if they choose." He said as he looked at the bottle, the liquid still slightly stirring from his interaction with it. What it was, was a form of Goron brewed alcohol. Something most people generally stayed away from cause of how strong it was, but it was the only kind that helped Theodwin to forget when killing monsters didn't help and even then he only dared to take small drinks. He was going to need all the aide he could get to retell what he had done, he took a breath and recapped the bottle. "I was always told that I showed great promise, I can remember how even the oldest trainees couldn't match me in sparring matches. So as I got older, I was assigned as a junior trainer as many of the trainers went off to join in the Hylian War." He said to her, not wanting to stay on the subject of that accursed war for too long. Cause he was sure it would hold some unpleasant memories for her, as cause of it she lost her parents.

"As I would help with the training of the young ones, I would go out into the forest surrounding the camp and train myself. I felt that I had reached a peak of what I could learn in the camp and I wanted to make myself even stronger, so when I went off to become a guard for a royal family. I wanted my family and friends back home to be proud of how good a guard I was, but going out into those woods alone was a mistake..." He said softly as he closed his eyes and lowered his head some, gripping the one shelf of the bookcase tightly in both hands. "I encountered an older woman under attack by monsters and I rescued her from them, as a reward she gave me an amulet that would boost the effectiveness of my training..." He said and reached a hand to his chest, Theodwin could almost still feel it weighing heavily on his chest even to this day. "Little did I know she was actually a witch sent in by an evil force to destroy my clan's camp and that amulet was filling me with darkness from the first moment I put it on.....up until......" He hesitated for a moment, keeping his back towards Tavir, not wanting to see the look on her face or eyes when she heard this next part.

Theodwin took a deep breath before continuing, "Up until it took me over. I was out in the woods training and the amulet had helped to increase my training gains, but next thing I know there was nothing and then I came to on a bed in a cell. They had told me that I had came into the village...and....." He closed his eyes, feeling a dark warmth in his chest. Partly from the alcohol and partly from remembering what he was told, almost like he had seen it happen with his own eyes. "and they told me, that I had started killing everyone who got in my path. That it took everything they had just to get the amulet off me...." He said softly, gripping the shelf of the bookcase so tightly the wood started to groan some. As he could feel the drink he had trying to force it's way back up out of him, "Nearly half of the youngest trainees died that day because of me, because I wanted more strength. Their blood is on my hands and there is nothing I can do to ever make up for that act, so I have been trying to stay away from any populated areas so such a mistake could not be repeated by me again." He said softly, his head lowered and his eyes closed as he stood there. Actually telling this story helped to loosen the knot that had been in his chest all these years, the guilt of what he had done felt lightened slightly, but he still could not face Tavir to see her reaction to this story.

Attention. Way too much attention. She hadn't expected so much of it, the population of this town had increased since she had left. A small voice came out shrill from a small distance, an underlying sense of fear laced into it. She looked at the child in shock, it almost reminded her of when she was younger, justice was always brimming on her mind as she always came to the need of the hurt be it a dog or a smaller child. The child seemed to make a reaction out of the crowd, other merchants and passer by villagers defending her. The merchant looked guilty, face flushed red like a tomato as he muttered curses under his breath. It was nice of the locals to pop in, but Inogenne looked stricken with worry as she looked at the child that had heard such things. She tried to ignore the memories that surfaced to rise as she heard the small voice, they were memories she wished to not yet resurface in a public place.

She grabbed her change and led the child with her away from the incoming guards. The girl seemed to be keeping her face down, almost hiding her face as well. Her lips quirked into a small smile and she placed a lilac colored scarf from out of her bag to give to the small girl to wrap around her face. "Thank you for the help little one, let me take you home. It isn't safe to be around here with all the adventurers coming in." Her face was covered by the scarf so her smile was hidden, she liked to think of herself as alright with kids. She looked around the perimeter, she stuck out like sore thumb and she hoped the kid's place was far. She knew why the merchant had targeted her now, she looked far too extravagant for a town like this. She hadn't thought of packing clothes that were humble, nor did she want to. Her looks were her best weapon, that was the only way she had survived the never ending waves of bandits in the wilderness.

Princess Ashieth

As the man muttered curses under his breath, as he returned the correct change to the woman, Ash felt a small wave of relief, glad that no fight had broken out. A moment later, the woman had lightly taken her hand and led the way through the crowds to a less dense area. She knew it wasn't a good idea to follow people she didn't really know, but the woman didn't give of any feelings of bad intentions, and the more the woman spoke, the more sure Ash grew that she knew the voice.

As the two came to a stop, the woman pulled out a scarf and held it out to her, thanking her for the help. Looking at the scarf, Ash gently took it, as if the scarf would fall apart if she moved it to much. It was a beautiful shade of lilac, one of Ash's favorite colors. "Thank you, it's beautiful." she states, wrapping the scarf around to cover her face as best as possible, though it didn't work as well as the one the woman had put on herself, Ash looked up at the woman, seeing her face for the first time, well the part that wasn't hidden under the scarf.

Ash could feel tears coming to her eyes, the woman looked and sounded like her sister. But... that was impossible, wasn't it? Her parents had told her that her sister had run off and had no intention of coming back. It's been what? Three? Four years? Granted, Ash was sure her sister had changed appearance, as time often does, plus after all that time the figure of her sister had started to blur in her memories. Regardless, the woman reminded her of her older sister. Ash tried to shake the thoughts off as the woman offered to take her home. Ash shook her head slightly "I am glad that I could help. Thank you for the offer, but I should be fine getting home." Ash spoke quickly wiping her eyes only to knock the scarf loose. As it fell off, Ash managed to catch it but only after her face had revealed itself.

❂Takir of the Sheikah❂

As the other Sheikah began telling his story, Takir could sense the somberness about him. She softened her expression, eyebrows drawing up in a concerned way as she listened to him talk. 'The trainers in his village were made to fight as well,' she thought, pulling her knees up and hugging her legs to her abdomen. “Our clans likely fought together. Peace be with our dead,” she said softly after he explained his people's connection with the war, surprised that the distant tribe had involved themselves.

She didn't like to think much of that time, but she knew that her people would have died off even if the majority of them hadn't become casualties – they were few, and dwindling more every year. Her parents had been lucky enough to bear a daughter, but most of the other members were too old to produce children by the time the war came. The stories she'd been told by the elders of their tribe's past had been ambiguous, but it seemed as though they had been a band of rebels to begin with, breaking off from another group of Sheikah decades ago. She hated that she was the last of them, missed being part of a tribe.

Takir felt pity stir in her chest as the light-haired male went on explaining his past. She knew how it felt to be isolated, though not to the degree he must have felt it. She wasn't forced to carry any guilt for her past, she only did because of the lack of true help she'd been able to give to her village. She felt her time had been wasted. She was a fully trained warrior, and could cut down any enemy in her path given the goddesses' will – at least, she had been able to thus far.

An idea sparked in her mind as the other finished his story. ”I want to train in the healing arts. I've started learning on my own, but I want to seek a mentor. If I master white magic, maybe I can help cure your curse somehow,” she spoke enthusiastically, but she knew it sounded feeble and far fetched. She felt obliged to help him, though, simply for the fact that they were warrior kin. Neither of them had any people to return to, and Takir found herself hoping she could aid the other Sheikah in gaining his name back. ”Whatever that amulet did can be undone. You shouldn't have to live in seclusion this way.”

Theodwin gave a small rueful smile hearing her, he had tried healers all over the land. Some of which threw him out almost as soon as he stepped through the door, the darkness within him gave them quite the fright apparently. Those who were brave enough to attempt came away a little worse for wear, they survived though some just barely. After too many times of healers nearly dying cause of him, he swore he wouldn't try again. There was already far too much blood on his hands, he slowly pushed away from the bookcase and turned towards Tavir. "That is not wise and I can't allow it, it's far too dangerous to attempt removing this darkness." He said to her and took a deep breath.

"Others have tried, the ones who weren't afraid to even have me near them. Whatever this darkness is, it's stronger then any healer I've ever been to. It's nearly cost the life of several healers, while I do live in seclusion. I do leave methods out there for people to contact me if I am needed, but I find it best I not remain in contact with large numbers of people for too long." He said to her, Theodwin then moved over to her and leaned in close to her. Looking into her eyes, she could see what looked to be a dark mist swirling about in the whites of his eyes. "As you can see, whatever this darkness is. It's a living force that become a symbiotic force with me." He said, before moving back away from her.

"I'm not even sure if it can be removed from me while I'm still alive, cause of that I've chosen to use this power forced upon me. Upon those who gave it to me, the witch that gave me that amulet didn't give up the name of the one who gave it to her to give to me. Despite my many attempts to force the answer out of her, my journies to find the one who did it. Has brought me to these lands, I think I may be getting close to the originator behind this darkness within me." He clenched his hands tightly, "When I finally catch up with this being, I will make them pay with their life." He said to her.

₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪

As the other Sheikah moved toward her and crouched down, Takir leaned forward to examine his irises. His words were true, she could see a murky darkness clouding over the natural crimson tint. ”That force is truly evil if white magic cannot touch it,” she said quietly, narrowing her own eyes. She had seen darkness dwell in living beings before, when she was a child and Kakariko village's well had been stricken by a cursed monster. She, amongst the rest of the tribe, apprehended and killed it. Upon it's death, the curse left it's body. The demon was banished – yes, – but an innocent life was taken with it. Takir could vividly remember sprinkling salts over the corpse, praying it's soul to find peace with tears in her young eyes. She'd always felt remorse for that. She didn't believe in the taking of a life. No soul was truly immoral.

”Although more destructive, the darkness within you isn't much different from the evil that preys on all the people in Hyrule.” Takir paused, casting her eyes down. She still wasn't used to denying the kingdom she'd been raised to protect. ”It corrupts you as it does them.” She tried to distract herself from the personal triggers in her speech by picking at the bandage wrapped around her ankle. ”Evil thrives on the breaking down of prosperity. It fuels itself on doubt and weakness. The more we fear it, the more it hurts us.”

She knew it may have been a long shot to try and help him by mastering the healing arts, but felt it possible that she could help him by simply reminding him that he was not the darkness within, fighting away the doubt it fed upon. He'd trusted her enough to tell her his story, and to her that seemed to indicate that the curse couldn't affect her if she wasn't doubtful of the soul it was a parasite to.

”Don't let it trick you into believing you killed those people,” she looked back up, revealing her reddened cheeks and pressed expression. ”The blood is on it's hands, not your own.” Takir swallowed, internally rather irritated by her own emotional tendencies – it had never been difficult to get her to devote herself to a cause. ”That being does deserve to pay. They are at fault for too much grief to be justified. I may not be able to heal you, but I want to help you find recompense for the burden you bear. Let me travel with you. I'm not afraid of being hurt, I've got nothing to live for anymore. This is all I can think to do now that I'm no longer a guardian of Hyrule. It.. is my duty to protect the innocent,” There was a bit of a spark in her eyes. She didn't need to feel guilty for abandoning her kingdom if she continued to protect it. She would do her job out of the military's line of sight, righting their wrongs if need be.

She didn't know what she could to to verify the truth of her statement, so she slid forward on the arm of the couch to climb off and then bowed with her arm tucked behind her back. ”And it is my honor to fight alongside another warrior of the Sheikah."

He smiled softly hearing her, Theodwin knew it wasn't his will that killed the younglings in his camp. But it had used his body, which to him just as much made him guilty. He had lacked the strength to fight the urges when it happened, which is why he continued to blame himself. He watched as she bowed towards him, when Tavir stood back up he moved in closer to her. He reached to her and gently rested his hand on her shoulder, "You can travel along with me for now, but if I feel you'll be in danger travelling with me. You'll have to go, for your own safety." He said to her softly, looking into her eyes a few moments before lowering his hand away.

"So this darkness is similar to the one in this land, so I may have finally found the source of this." He said softly, crossing his arms over his chest some thinking. Theodwin looked at Tavir, "Does the name Gannondorf mean anything to you?" He asked her, "That name was one of the only things that witch said and eveytime I think I'm getting close to the source, the one behind of the darkness in that area says that name." He said as he goes back into thought, "The troubling thing is other times I hear about that name, people say he's dead. I've heard this from a few different other kingdoms...." He said then looked back at Tavir, uncrossing his arms. "If this being is really immortal, it will cause a problem." Theodwin said, with a troubled look on his face.

He moved back over to his chair and sat down in it, "If this Gannondorf is as strong as I've been hearing, we may need others when we confront him. Some way of containing his soul, if that is how he's remaining immortal." He said leaning forward some, his hands on his knees. "I may know of a method to capture his soul, there's a sword I've heard of that's said to be able to capture and contain souls of the being it cuts." He said and looked at her, "Also, while we are traveling together. I can train you in sword skills, so you have a more broad set of skills for combat." Theodwin said to Tavir.

Takir was slightly startled as the other Sheikah's hand fell upon her shoulder, looking up to examine his face. She sighed with relief, however, when he agreed to have her travel with him. ”I suppose I should thank you, both for saving me earlier and for.. well, continuing to save me by letting me stay with you.” She reached up to rub the back of her neck, laughing sheepishly for a moment before looking away. ”And I don't even know your name. This day is just so strange,” she trailed off, leaning back against the arm of the couch and crossing one ankle behind the other.

Takir had fallen into thought by the time he spoke up again. She squinted upon hearing the name – of course she'd heard of him. The elders in her village were avid storytellers, and she'd heard fables about every race in the land from them during her adolescence. ”I didn't know he was a real person,” she replied, looking back over to her acquaintance. ”But I've heard stories of the beast king named Gannondorf.”

As he went on to elaborate, Takir scanned through what she could remember of the fables she'd heard. He had been a Gerudo mystic, searching for the legendary triforce. He was somehow able to get to it, but the power was said to have driven him mad, thus turning him into a beast. He took over Hyrule, cascading darkness over the kingdom until he was defeated. ”I'm surprised those stories had any substance. I thought them to be entirely fictional,” the blonde shifted a bit, pushing herself back up to sit on the arm of the couch.

She piped back up after hearing mention of training. He had learned from a real Sheikah mentor, and she could in turn learn the shadowfolk's traditional sword fighting style. However, as realization hit her that her spear was still in Kakariko, she slumped her shoulders. ”I suppose I'll need to find a new weapon before I can learn anything in the art of the blade,” she sighed. She'd never fought with anything besides her spear, really. ”Though I'm rather sad to see my spear go. It's been with me since I was a child.” She could almost feel it's soft leather grip against her palms.

Not wanting to appear ungrateful, she sat up straight again and put on a more cheery expression. ”Well, starting anew isn't always a bad thing. I suppose it's best for me to cut my ties to my past now. Probably safer that way,” she trailed off, looking to the side absently for a moment before continuing, coming off cheery and determined again. ”I'll strengthen my skills in both fighting and healing in order to help you reach your goal.” She gave a small smile, crossing her arms.

Takir had long wanted a new life, but now that the opportunity had come, she found herself hesitant to embrace it. There wasn't much of an option, of course, as she was no longer a normal citizen. She would just have to grin and bear the homesickness and devote herself to this new cause without further doubt.

Theodwin looked at Takir and thought for a moment, thinking about how this isn't a normal situation and that it would be best for her to know his name now. "This is a special situation, so I can tell you my name. It is Theodwin." He said to her with a small bow, "As long as you are at my side I'll keep you safe." He said to her, standing back up from his bow. Theodwin looked at Takir as she looked to be in deep thought, he crossed his arms over his chest as he listened to her. Thinking to himself as it's sounding like the stories about this Ganondorf all originate in this area, that this may be where he can put an end to this all.

"In my experience, some stories do have some facts of truth within them. Even ones that seem as outlandish as this Ganondorf." He said to her, he looked at her as she begin to talk about her spear. It was then he thought about how he doesn't have any kind of clothing or anything she could wear at his place, Theodwin then thought about what it would feel to lose the sword he's grown so bonded too. He looked at Takir, "We can go to your home and pick up everything you need, other then what you have on you I don't think I have anything you wear here." He said to her, then moved over to the one other door in the living room and went into the room.

A few minutes later he returned with a dark green cloak, he handed it over to her. "You can wear this and no one will know it's you." He said to her, then reached to her and gently rested his hand on her shoulder again. "There are some ties you can cut and some you shouldn't, one that should never be cut willingly is the ties to your weapon partner." Theodwin said to Takir, looking into her eyes. A few moments later he slowly lifted his hand away from her shoulder.

Theodwin then starts to move about the room some deep in thought, trying to remember things he's heard from his journies to these other lands. When a fact hits him suddenly he stopped mid-step, "In all the places I went that this darkness was, there was another thing in common with the reports. That the one who defeated Ganondorf and all his minions was a boy draped in green, who appeared Hylian in origin." He said and looked over at her, "Have you ever seen anyone like that around?" Theodwin asked Takir, "Maybe if we can find this warrior, we might be able to get his help in fighting this Ganondorf." He said to her.

Panting, stampeding, glorifying the heroes of old and blessing generations to come with his noble feet, the humblest of heroes clip-clopped into Kakariko with the subtlety of a desert storm. He had calves that were barely contained by simple straps; the women who worked studied their dreams to get through the day, pulling, tugging, at those floodgates of rapture to get through the day yearning; the husbands burning, threw parties alone and carefully plotted steps to stamp out the orange cyclone over spirits and musty crates. His shorts were liberty embodied, taking no flack from the wind as they rode up when they pleased and at the same time inspired children to play harder and pull snickers from teens' mouths. His thin, rippling torso was the iron mast that held that wayward shirt of his, perpetually stricken by the wind into sloping quills off the back. All sweat stopped there, but held strong around the neck as if his clavicle had been meticulously crafted from the prized diamonds of the Northern Eldin regions. The candy, his lips that is, were dull pearls which drove artists mad, the wind and salt polishing those silent doors in a way no other media could capture. His hair... Good God, his hair! It was space and time itself, swaying to the beat of a party seen but not heard: a fire in the night. His eyes were stars themselves, and in them one could see without any interpreting the pride of fathers stacked and folded; they were held together perhaps by the weight they entrusted those slender shoulders to carry.

But these all paled to his feet! The feet beat the rhythm of a new generation into the ground, and the celebrated the coming of the wind they stirred which grew from the simplest flick to the typhoons feared secretly by fishermen and grew calm again as they came home from their long journey, matured, and embraced his face. Those feet were the word of the divine race, believe you that; causing many a royal to sigh as they kicked up justice for the realm. This was the real hero of Hyrule! At night those feet spent hours lamenting the day was over; that was what the aching meant after all. Only the Postman knew this, for only those who spoke the language of the foot were fit to run. He'd been seen weeping in the field once. A boy stopped him and asked what was wrong--as he had been walking--to which the Postman replied, "I've lost their trust."

"Yah!" He came straight to the princess with a short note from the King telling her to get home immediately. Apparently the castle'd been up in arms over the disappearance.

"Yah!" He said again as he took off into the realm of legacy and legend.

Princess Ashieth

Ash was about to speak when an all to familiar face showed up. A face that always seemed to know where to find her and carried a presence that always seemed to lighten the mood, at least for her it did. The postman held out a letter before giving a little cheer. Gently taking the paper, Ash gave him a small smile "Thank you." she spoke before he let out another little cheer then taking off once more. She didn't know why, but the postman always made her feel more relaxed. He just had that kind of personality she supposed.

Turning her attention onto the letter, Ash's heart skipped a beat. Her parents had already found out that she'd left the castle grounds?! Usually she could manage another hour or so. Did she forget something that was suppose to happen today? Thoughts rushed through her head before she turned and looked at the visitor before giving a bow. "I'm sorry. I must be going. I hope that you enjoy your stay. Take care." Ash spoke before quickly heading off towards the castle road.

~~~
Rurmak couldn't help the smirk that came to his face as he noticed his target moving up along the road, her bare feet making little noise as she moving down the path. Stepping in her way, Rurmak looked down at the Princess who had tilted her head up to look at him. Even with the foot of distance that sat between the two, the angle each of them had to look was fairly significant. The muscular, large build of Rurmak verses the thin, fragile stature of Ash held no similarities.
"Excuse me." Ash spoke moving to go around the goron, only to stop as a large hand wrapped around her arm. "So nice of you to come to me." Rurmak spoke with a smirk, his rough voice making it clear that there was no good intention. He had been planning on scoping out the castle for a while longer, but this... was just to convenient. Ash's face quickly changed to one of fear, though she tried to hide it "I'm sorry, but I really must get going." Ash spoke her voice shaking a bit as she looked up at the man. "Right, let's go then." Rurmak spoke, tugging Ash's arm a bit a she tried to shift out of his grasp.
Suddenly there was a bright flash of light and Rurmak let out a small grunt of pain as Ash used her light magic. He had lost his grip on her and she had pulled away, her arm already showing some bruising from where he had grabbed her. Rurmak let out a small quiet chuckle "So then, we do this the hard way. Fine by me." he smirked as he reached over his shoulder and grabbed onto the hilt of his hammer quickly swinging it around at Ash.
The shield of light had shown up right in time, taking the blow from the hammer though a moment later it shattered and Ash was sent backwards with a small cry as she hit the ground, the scarf the woman had given her floating off and landing on the ground roughly two feet away. Ash quickly recovered, pushing herself up to look at her attacker who was over her, hammer in hand.
